From my initial inquiry, through the repair process and to receiving my repaired item, communication with this company was prompt, clear and helpful.

I made a tentative inquiry whether the Famous Sheffield Shop would be able to repair an old ‘Real Lamb Foot’ penknife that was my Grand-dad’s. It was clear the person that I spoke with knew immediately what was needed to repair the knife. I posted the pocket-knife to them, they confirmed receipt of the item. Within very few days they contacted me to discuss the repair and within 48 hours the pen-knife was back with me. They did not try to persuade me to spend more money than was necessary on “restoring” the knife - they made it clear that repair was sufficient. The cost of the repair was very fair. I cannot praise this customer-focussed, skilful and efficient business highly enough.

Great business. I like to support English made products when I can and it was good to find this company online. The item I ordered was out of stock but Jordan e mailed me on the day of my order to advise that stock would be in the following Monday and my order would be shipped then. I appreciate that level of understanding of customer needs and to me it really makes a difference. My order was shipped as advised and arrived very well packed with an enclosed thank you note which was also appreciated. I can thoroughly recommend this company.
