Avoid if you need precision. Poor quality control and zero accountability.

I ordered custom Perspex pieces with specific fabrication requirements. Not only did Sheet Plastics fail the first time, but they failed the second time as well, and then refused to take responsibility.

On the first order, they confused a "60-degree bend" with a "60-degree internal angle," resulting in a piece that was physically the opposite to the instructions provided. Despite my attempts to be even clearer for the second order, they used an old drawing, got the dimensions wrong, and missed the angle again.

The most disappointing part is the customer service. They refused to take responsibility and implied that I was lying until I provided photographic evidence of their mistakes, they then refunded the second order but are refusing to refund the first, essentially charging me for their own inability to follow technical instructions.

If you need a company that follows technical drawings and takes responsibility for their mistakes, look elsewhere.

Great Range of Sheeting Cut to Your Specs

I needed a custom size piece of board-type material to extend a computer monitor stand, both LxW. I wasted hours looking at MDF and the like before inspiration struck and I searched for plastic sheeting that would be lighter, stronger, and more aesthetically pleasing. This led me to Sheet Plastics.

I ordered a sheet of mid-blue acrylic, cut to the exact size I need, with polished edges and radius corners, all cheaper than far inferior (in my opinion) MDF.

Using the Sheet Plastics bespoke ordering pages couldn't be simpler. Everything is selectable/adjustable/deletable without having to reset the form. And most importantly, you can get an instant quote for your selected options should you be uncertain of what you need, or if you are working to a budget.

My order was shipped within 4 days. It arrived a few days later as the well-protected package was over 750mm in length.

The acrylic sheet is absolutely stunning, even if it is just a monitor stand extension. I am looking to measure up my grandson's desk and gaming areas with the idea of placing further orders with Sheet Plastics for these areas.

Really good experience with Sheet…

Really good experience with Sheet Plastics. I was dealing with James and we went back and forth a few times to get everything spot on. He was patient and helpful throughout, and sending the sample out made a big difference in getting it right. Final splashback came exactly how I wanted it. Happy with the service and would use them again.

However, the issue you’ve described with the mirror appearing warped is typically the result of installation on an uneven or non-flat surface. Our mirrors are manufactured to a high standard, and when installed correctly on a completely flat, rigid backing, they will not produce distortion.

We do clearly provide installation guidance on our website, including the requirement for a flat surface to avoid this exact issue. Unfortunately, if this guidance is not followed, distortion can occur, as you’ve experienced.

We recommend reviewing the installation instructions and, if possible, reinstalling the mirror onto a suitable flat surface to resolve the problem.

If you need any clarification on the installation process, please let us know.
