I had purchased a shade a few years ago, it was put to great use. When it broke I purchased another from the same company.

This tent is great at keeping the sun off and the sand out of your belongings due to the floor. It's very well made with good materials. However, it does have some flaws. This is the 2nd UV protector I've owned, the first lasted me several years before tearing below the mesh windows. The mesh windows were great, they gave good visibility and let the breeze in. The new one does not have mesh windows, and this, it does get very hot, very quickly. It also catches the wind and does continually collapse with a decent breeze even with the back flaps open. It's perfect for cooler days with little wind, but not for hot days with wind above 20kph.

The UV Protector has not had mesh windows previously but the Super UV Protector does. It could be that you had a Super UV Protector in the past.

Love our Beach Tent. Great quality and size. Great for protection.
New sunshade for my daughter to use with her young family. Best sunshade I have ever used. We used our sunshade for 15 years, 4 children and many many surf carnivals and days at the beach. I can’t believe I never needed to replace it.
So easy to put up and take down compared to some other shelters.
Had our last one for 17 years. Great product.
