Booked a auto transport with this company thinking a high rating would save me from the headaches of scams and such. Not so! This company confirmed a contracted shipping price of $911. Two days later and 3 days before my desired ship date they bumped the price by nearly $3OO. Clear bait and switch to me. Don't waste your time, go with a reputable company.
After I complained and declined the contract, they returned with TWO subsequent offers, the last to my original bid. But by then I had lost trust and moved on.

Horrible company and waste time to work with them
I even do not want to give one star. This company is doing trick to the customers. I signed the contract with them more than a month ago, but when the time that should come to pick up the car, they increase the price. The reputation and service are too bad, so do not waste time with them.

Shipped 2 cars from LA to Cleveland in winter. All company reps and drivers had great service and were very communicative. Tracking was spot on and cars were delivered on timed even with expedited delivery timeline. Highly recommended!

Easy Peasy cross country shipping experience
Price was reasonable or at least consistent with what I expected. The quote never changed from the first communication. The car pickup and drop-off was easy on both ends. The total transit time Arlington, VA to Berkeley, CA was about 8 days.

Horrible experience
Horrible experience. Quoted $600 to bring a new vehicle about 400 miles. Made me sign a contract. Assigned an order number and then started to try and increase the price, multiple times. I contacted them and said we have a contract, you have a guarantee and neither of which you are willing to honor. They said they really don't know sometimes and I said this is what you do for a living. Stay far, far away from them. Think there's even more shadiness, but this is the lowlight.

I trusted their promise of a guaranteed…
I trusted their promise of a guaranteed two-day pick-up window, was willing to pay $300 for the privilege, because I have a family and needed the car. I booked a flight for our move the day after their window, because, we are moving. No carrier assigned for days. I spent hours with their customer support begging them to do something, always got the run-around, all kinds of excuses. Never got a carrier. Totally unreliable company, can’t trust what they say.

I entered into a contract with SGT to transport my vehicle from California to South Carolina for a reasonable price. When it was time to ship my vehicle, the price increased considerably. They wanted to make the delivery on a day that I would be unable and wanted me to authorize someone else to receive the vehicle. I made arrangements to meet their needs. The next thing that they wanted was a considerable increase in the price. They then sent me an email saying that they were canceling my contract.

As clearly outlined in the signed agreement, initial quotes are estimates based on current market conditions and carrier availability. In some cases, market-driven fluctuations—such as limited carrier availability on specific routes or dates—can result in revised carrier offers. Customers always have full discretion to accept or decline any updated pricing, and no shipment proceeds without customer authorization.
Regarding delivery timing, pickup and delivery dates are also estimated, not guaranteed, as they depend on factors beyond our direct control, including carrier routing, weather, and road conditions. When a consignee is unavailable on a proposed delivery date, we do our best to explore reasonable alternatives with the customer, but flexibility is sometimes required to complete a shipment efficiently.
In this case, the order was canceled after the updated carrier terms were declined. This was not a unilateral or arbitrary action, but rather the result of an inability to secure a carrier under the revised conditions that aligned with the requested requirements.
We respectfully disagree with the implication that our company acts improperly. We stand by our reputation for transparency, professionalism, and compliance with all contractual and regulatory standards.
