disappointing customer service

The order itself was fine, however I needed to refund it. i had to pay £7.50 for postage but i never got my money back. i emailed them about this problem but they laughed and said “LOL!” instead of helping me with my issue. they then continued to not help me in the emails so i called them. When i called them she laughed at me and was rude and made myriads of remarks filled with attitude. i tried asking her for help but she just interrupted me and shouted at me, a minor.I felt truly attacked and harassed and when i wanted to solve this calmly she hung up. PAULA WOODS truly disregarded and disrespected and disappointed me and when i tried calling back to solve this she never picked up. Please trust me and DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!

They sent me a broken bottle and accused me of lying

I make leather-covered books. I wanted to offer a hand-made "magic" book to my niece, with a thermocromatic pigment on the cover.

However I could not see my niece for a while and decided to postpone the project.

In the meantime, I had ordered Liquid Crystal Ink from Sfxc.

The bottle was shipped in a sealed plastic bag. The bottle in the bag had some grey tape around the cap, which I thought to be a standard additional protection. Before opening the bag, I noticed that the liquid had spilled inside the bag. Therefore, before unsealing the bag, I took pictures of it in case I would need to make a claim to the customer service.
I then open the plastic bag.
When I removed the tape on the bottle, I found out that the cap was broken in 2 pieces. So the tape had been placed knowingly that the cap was broken.

At this moment I decided to contact the customer service to explain that the cap was broken before shipping, as the bag was still sealed, and ask a new bottle (or refund). I sent them the picture.

As a response, I received an angry email from the customer service writing that I had myself put the tape (inside the sealed bag!) as "they never use grey tape" on their bottle, and that I was therefore doing a fraudulent claim. The lady from the customer service on the phone clearly implied I was lying, which I was not, and that anyway I was too late for a a claim. In other terms: "you didn't see early enough we tried to scr** you, so scr** you".

In the end they "offered" a 20% discount on my next order.
Which I will never ever do.
