I learnt a lot of new things that i have always ignored. The AAZ format was really great.

The materials are great and the comments in the online course are also interesting. If there are more text summaries (which could be downloaded) from the extensive online videos, it would be better for us to check after the course.

Great Workshop where you can improve your communications skills with easy to implement tips.

The whole course was very straightforward, informative, and practical. The theoretical slides are available for an extended period, and the live session provided direct, to-the-point feedback on our work with no time wasted on small talk or introductions.

I think the videos are easy to follow and packed with useful information. My favorite part was to get specific feedback and improvement options to the submitted material.

The ability to watch some tutorials before the workshop and then to get a feedback based on our own projects made the experience phenomenal. Moreover, to work in groups was very helpful to connect some ideas and concepts from the colleges, which they may have noticed or understood better than me. All in all, the impact of this workshop about visual communication will have a lasting effect on my future work.

Would do it again, and I think it was very helpful for my research communication! Great online course and in person workshop. I liked the personal feedback on slides and on the project outline.

Overall, the main contributor to the quality of the experience was Jernej himself. You could tell not only how experienced he is in the subject but also how passionate he is. My expectations before the course were far surpassed, and I have truly learned a lot of invaluable skills that will, for sure, elevate the quality of any scientific material that I produce.

Jerney is excellent and extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the topic of visual communication and design. Both the self-study part and the live workshop were highly useful and filled with useful techniques, tricks and examples which I could immediately apply to improve my own presentations and scientific figures. I highly recommend this workshop to everyone who is interested in learning more about humans visual perception and graphic design principles and improving their presentations, figures and posters!

Communication clear, sharp and concise teaching methods, multiple teaching channels, professional approach; content immensely useful coming from an University where there is from none to little teachings on visual communication of science.

I was one of the organizers and I proposed to invite Jernej featuring his live training with Seyens method at my institution (University in Italy). The experience did not disappoint and I got through the training being engaged, working a lot, and leaving both the online training and the classroom with some every useful principles and actionable suggestions that I'll be operationalizing starting today.
Would definitely recommend if you are a scientist working in either academia or the private sector.

I really enjoyed both this workshop and the preliminary, autonomous preparation. I got interesting and useful insights about how to design my slides and images to comunicate effectively.
Most of the PhD courses I have attended were not able to keep me focused but I found this workshop really engaging.
