They deserve a zero star.....but thats not possible. Cold chewy bread, a chemical taste muffin. The coffee was a sort of okay.

Staff very friendly especially Natalia. I got locked out of my truck and she helped me find a car place where I could get a new battery. She was so friendly and helpful. Thank you Natalia

My boyfriend and I passed here by to use the toilet. My boyfriend and I did not have any cash or coints, only card. The toilet lady couldn't speak or understand English. She could not help us. When we ordered coffee, we hoped that we could use the toilet as paying costumers. The staff was very impatient and didn't offer any help or give any advise. She only answered no to every question that I asked her. As tourists we assumed that we wouldn't come across any other toilet.

The coffee was very very bad. It was more expensive then the coffee machine.
And afterwards, looking at the prices from the machine, it was cheaper while the quality of the coffee was even worse then the worst coffee machine I have ever been to.

The toilet Lady was very arrogant. The quality of the service in this place is the worst that I have come across in this country. I am very and deeply dissapointed in this pile of pee and poo.

I am not coming back here ever again!

Bad quality of food. Selling fastfood for the price from a healthy meal. Not enough operating staff and at least not qualified to do this job. So you have to wait a long time and after you have your food it takes so long to pay that your food is cold. The big companies took over almost all the motorway restaurants but they have no glue how to run the business. So stay away here and spend your money somewhere else.

We have traveled through Germany and used quite a few Raststätte along the way. We are disappointed with the food you can buy. It is low quality, uninspiring and not very healthy. We are also surprised that you have to pay 1 Euro to use the rest area's toilets. In several cases, the toilets are not very neat and clean. This “Erfahrung” dos not consern one special place but our impression of several Raststätte Serways during our trip through Germany.

Yesterday, around 15.00, we stopped at the Hohenlohe Nord Serways for something to eat. After using the toilet we had 2 tickets for 0,5 eur discount which we put on to the sandwiches we wanted to buy at the cash register before the cashier even bothered to help us. After processing the cashier started claiming we put the tickets there afterwards and he couldn't process them anymore... He even said we were lying about that.
In the end it's just 1 eur and not even worth the time or the bother this person deserves but I do not like being called a liar at all, nor does any customer deserves to be treated like that.

Travelling through Germany right now and wonder where do people rest?! Cause Serways is useless, first of all majority are closed, you see signs for "bed" , rectification: struggle to see signs for bed stops, stop and is closed
As for the Serways we slept in a week ago, (which we found through some miracle after stopping at 4 more exits prior)...a dated motel at high prices with breakfast written on offer , but not included when you ask for breakfast, they even describe what the breakfast includes, then they want to charge €9.99 on top of the €89 room for something not worth even €3(some bun and jam), which was supposed to be included in the price anyway. The room itself is dated, has 2 glasses, nothing else, only 1 chair in a double room, bed was ok-ish, with split mattress for a double bed, so if you are with your spouse is a bit uncomfortable . The bathroom has a very old hair drier, so old that it turned yellowish, limescale, some dust, not one use hard soap, just some liquid soap provided in a fixed huge tub as you would find in a public toilet, wonder about the health and safety issues ,especially now with Covid cause who knows how many people touch that huge plastic tub of liquid soap?!
Also rooms do not provide anything to have a warm drink such as a kettle, a tea, a coffee sachet...nothing
So if you do the mistake of driving through Germany try booking some hotel other than Serways,impossible on motorway though, Serways seems to hold a monopol and now other options available unless you somehow try to find in the villages/towns nearby, we don't know the roads and the signs to find anything are useless without address...all exits are marked poorly, all Serways carparks are packed with trucks(lorries), trucks that park on bays for cars, last night we entered 3 Serways exits , not even 1 open, trucks parked everywhere, we struggles to make our way towards even putting fuel, trucks parked everywhere on the paths, on the roads, blocking the view of the signs and road towards service itself, if you are not familiar with the way they position things you'll end up like us back on the motorway/autobahn on first attempt,because you can't get back to the fuel station ones you took a left instead of a right, anyway, at 3rd exit tried eventually we found a spot in front of a closed Serways, near a huge 18t truck and we had to sleep in the car , cause driving was no longer an option or we would have risked falling asleep whilst driving
Really disappointed with the lack of sleeping/rest areas options for motorists on A3 in Germany between Frankfurt and Köln...also really disappointed with the lack of proper signs on Autobahn, i appreciate UK even more now. The prices for fuel are €1.98 on Autobahn(if you can go off the motorway/autobahn the price is €1.45), price for toilet at Serways €0,70 , coffee is €4 or even more...insane

High prices, garbage food and service. Staff behaviour is horrible!
