A wery dedicated staff.

During the years we have been visiting Puerto Rico for more than 50 times. Now we have been in Appartments Servatur JB a few times - where we have met a very dedicated - smiling and helpfull staff - in different matters - during our holidays. Now we have planned our holidays at Appartment Servatur JB for the future when vi go to Puerto Rico.

And Rita - we are wery much looking forward - that Appartments Servatur JB - will be a smoking free resort - for the benefit of all our health.

Our suggestion - is that the area with sea wiev - are solely for non-smokers.

Give it a miss, you’ll be glad you did

We have stayed at Servatur hotels in the past, but our recent stay at the Don Miguel in Playa Del Ingles, Gran Canaria was the worst.

Firstly, the hotel has no car park so you have to hunt around to find somewhere close by - there aren’t many parking places available. The hotel is soul less, no atmosphere and not much going on. Breakfast is the same every morning and it’s all self service and the queues are lengthy. Often things had run out including crockery. The room we were allocated was in the shade all of the time. The beds were too soft. The shower was temperamental and water sprayed all over the floor when it was in use. The TV didn’t work and we were awoken by a loud banging noise before 6am. The corridors were noisy at night. We did not have a good nights sleep as a result. The room wasn’t clean and the bath was dirty and worn. We won’t be returning. The entrance to the hotel is very slippery when wet even with sand bags placed outside. I complained to reception and they apologised. I have written to the hotel three times since our return, but no reply so I will now apply for a chargeback from my credit card company.

Only 1 star

The hotel is very worn, dirty, no ventilation and there is a lot of noise.

The beds are miserable, and there is a lot of noise from the hallway and the rest of the room. Everything can be heard through the walls.

the bathroom filled with fungus and clammy bacteria accumulations

The hotel's prices are high, especially in the pool bar and restaurant. Only the breakfast is edible, the rest is without variety and poorly prepared. Be careful with the chicken

The supermarket at the hotel is so messy and downright dirty

The pool is freezing cold, and the nearest "town" where there is little at all is Anfi, where the prices are even higher.

The ramps from the Strandpromenade to the hotel are mirror-smooth

Spies gives 3 stars, it's way too high.
