Great selection!

Great selection of sequins with a range of sizes, colours and styles. My first order arrived as expected, and I'm already going back for more!

Amazing variety of sequins

I’ve been looking for retro sequins and couldn’t find decent ones anywhere until I found Sequin world. So many options and different quantities. Prices were very reasonable. I also had free delivery. I would recommend and will be ordering again.

Rude response, poor communication.

The company was overwhelmed with orders and did not notify prior to ordering that the processing step would take a couple of days. I had paid extra for royal mail 1st class tracked, and whilst the shipping page does say to allow up to 10 days for delivery, typically Royal Mail doesn't take that long.

After ordering, waiting two days, and sending an enquiry about how long processing times take, and stating that I wouldn't have ordered had I known processing times were multiple days, I received a rude and incredibly defensive email which I'll copy and paste here.

"Tracked shipping means you can track your order's progress once shipped, it does not mean expedited.

We are a one woman business and reopened after the Bank Holiday to a high number of orders and have processed them as quickly as possible.

Shipping and Returns information is shown very clearly on our website, you scrolled over it to get to the Contact Form ...

Ann "

I had of course read the shipping page before I ordered as I wanted the sequins for the weekend and ordered on a Wednesday. I understood I was taking a risk on the delivery times with Royal Mail, but I upgraded the shipping to 1st class and also tracked to mitigate this risk. What I did not expect, and what the shipping page did not warn about, was a 48 hour processing time.

The shipping page did not mention anything about processing times, and if paying for first class over second class isn't paying for expedited postage then I'm not sure what is. Ann has focused on the tracked part of the shipping in her response and not the fact first class is faster for some reason.

I would suggest Ann works on her communication skills, updates her site if there is a backlog of orders so people are informed of delays in processing, and perhaps considers hiring people to help with orders if it's too much for one person.

I ultimately try to support small businesses but customer service like this drives me to Amazon. I can absolutely understand a delay, I do not understand the attitude.
