I was a lab tech myself by trade, and I wish I had gotten this years ago.
I am so grateful to participate, and the information is so relevant and easy to understand. I love this service.

everything it's helped so much now I can go to my doctor and we can finally get things figured out because I'm so sick.

Even though an offer had initially expired within 24 hours after it was made to me, customer support solved the issue and made the initial offer available to me. Quick response time.

Bought this some time ago,
Just downloaded what data I could find and discussed with chatgpt.
Kept getting $40 a month taken out of my account,
Went to cancel, popup offered 50% off,
Well, ok, but then I opted for free as I don't use their online service as its far far too complicated, with new apps to buy for every disease and variation.
Saw 6 disease groups that said new info, clicked each one, and they all pop up, upgrade to view.
I don't mind paying for a service, it cost me about $400 to get the sequencing done, but this constant bombardment of monthly fees AND having to buy the multitude of confusing Apps is just turning me off this service.

I decided to buy the kit because both of my parents died from cancer. I wanted to be proactive & see where I stand because I'm the only parent my children have alive.

I am not happy with my sequencing at all. So I find the app super difficult to actually get any information. You can get a lot of information in different areas but once you’re in to the reports, you can’t for instance just click on cc or RC or LC or whatever the initials are to find out what the definition is so you’re constantly doing searches. The AI on the app is completely useless. It doesn’t stop typing after you ask a question and you’re up there trying to read the results. it just keeps typing to you like every 30 seconds and makes the chat go back down to the bottom so I lose my place where I’m reading and I get super frustrated with the AI It doesn’t work seamlessly like it should… the reports are even more confusing instead of giving me 100 different reports that don’t mean anything but telling me that I have like 175 genes that have some kind of anomaly or I’m likely a carrier of something instead why don’t all the reports work together and tell me hey you have several
Genes that may point to this …. each one of these categories and an overall place to look next …. it doesn’t break it down like that I don’t understand the results at all. How do you have so many things that you’re a carrier for and that you might likely have, but there is no positive results about anything everything‘s a maybe??? I don’t understand. Please make it make sense. I kinda wanna ask for a refund, but I won’t do that to them. They can keep my little money. I just know better than to spend anymore. I deleted my credit card immediately when I found out the website was so difficult to use and you have to go into a different app for each thing and none of the information talks to each other. It just was supposed to make something so easy and it just didn’t ! The advertisements made It seem like it was gonna be amazing. It’s gonna give me an answer to something. It just gave me more questions. I like the idea of what it’s supposed to be, but it just doesn’t seamlessly come together yet all the reports need to work together. It doesn’t make any sense to have 1 million different reports that they’re not talking and giving an overall result, even if it’s medium or unsure, it would give me a next step on where to look. The process itself with mailing in my sample and the results was as advertised actually, I think it was a little bit faster than advertised so that wasn’t too bad. I was kind of impressed at that point, but then the results came in. It just makes no absolute sense in the world. It would be really helpful if they added some features to their website and if they’re AI didn’t type every 10 seconds while you’re trying to read something! Also that it just gave you results and instead of having five different apps I have to go in for five different views on the same results with reports in each one why aren’t they all just together and give you a big result at the end I thought that’s kind of how it was gonna work but maybe I was ahead of your time if those improvements were made, I would change my rating.

The collection process was easy and I received my results much sooner than expected. I can’t recommend this highly enough as the results have most likely saved my life. At minimum, they have significantly improved my expected quality of life by identifying a rare genetic disorder I tested positive for. With treatment it’s completely benign, but if not caught early on can cause severe organ damage and/or failure. I’m already symptomatic but no one has discovered what it is. I now have answers, will seek treatment, and can look forward to many years with my family. Their customer is excellent, easily accessible, and swift to act as well.

The above is only the beginning! I took this as I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and wanted to learn more. The results and available reports are immensely helpful. This test will change your life for the better in ways you can’t imagine. It has mine and I am so thankful for this blessing.

Great reports and services offered. Customer service was also quick to address and solve any issues/questions I had.

The entire team made the process easy to understand and complete -- from submitting samples to talking with customer service reps. The coaching session was helpful in explaining the different ways I can access and view my results. Looking forward to more followup conversations.

Got my results fast and having fun going through all this information. The search tools are fairly intuitive and the guide in each section has been super helpful. I have learned a lot being able to chat with the AI which was a lifesaver. Would definitely recommend for those that are curious about there genetics.

Still waiting on my actual DNA results which is normal, but I’m already super impressed with Sequencing. I ran into a shipping issue with my first kit and reached out to support. They replied super fast, actually understood my problem, and were genuinely kind and helpful about it.

I had some problems understanding and retrieving data. However I got really good help directly from the company which is the main reason for my five star review. I do however feel that the information you get on the website is not clear enough. I also don’t like the fact that it’s very hard to store the full information on my own computer. It’s as if I don’t truly own my own data.

1. Takes a very long time to get results.
2. They charge you for expediting results.
3. You get your results in bits and pieces.
4. The site is extremely difficult to navigate
5. The AI feature cannot access your results, it simply rehashes what you need to do in order to try and figure out your results
6. The genome feature often doesn't work for the categories you are trying to search. I was not able to access specific genomes. When I put in the "condition" I was trying to find, it sometimes came up, sometimes it didn't. Way too fragile and difficult to understand and access. I was kicked out of the system multiple times.
7. You will have a long wait time trying to obtain and get your information
8. They will try to get more money from you after your initial payment. Kind of like an ongoing scam.
9. I guess if you're some kind of genius this might be helpful to you. For me, it was a waste of money. I simply wanted to know if I carried a specific variant - and it was impossible to figure out. I still don't know if I carry the JAK2 variant. Maybe. Maybe not. Lol. It's the only reason I paid for this test.
10. Trying to get assistance from an actual human is impossible.

The team at Sequencing was quick to respond to my questions. The end product was insightful, reassuring, and completely worth the price. I plan to buy more apps and have already recommended the service to my friends and family!

Was great information and answered questions for me why this or that is happening to my body and it is happening. Some of the disorders are active now others are dormant. Future disorders could activate as I age. I was very satisfied with the results. I have been telling friends and family to get theirs done.

Wow, this is gone a lot quicker getting my results then I originally thought. Very comprehensive list. I have this I’m a bit overwhelmed with all the information but to me that’s a good thing. I think it’s worth the money and the time to learn what you can about your DNA and what might be showing up in there that you could pass on to your kids. Or if you’re worried about certain diseases. The Customer Service is very good and the communication has been very good. I’m so glad I gave it a try because now I can take a report that I download to my doctor and we can discuss where we go from here. Thanks for everything.

Easy and straight forward with sample collection. Reports are organized well and easy to read. Great information to have.
