Can I give them 0? I placed an order, paid, just to get an email that the area is too remote and they need additional 30 euros to deliver. This is a scam!!! In 2025 you cannot pre calculate shipping. And how is Agios Nikolaos too remote? This is the largest Greek island with 2 international airports, and the city(yes this is a city not a village) is 45 min from the airport, with extremely good roads. This is not a remote village on the top of the mountain. I believe you scam people in ordering just to tell them 3 days before Christmas you cannot deliver.
Update: the company reached out and threatened to sue me. Apparently I put a wrong zip code and this is why they had tk charge me more. However they didn't reaching out to check my zip code, they reached out to charge me more and my main complaint is that, even with the wrong zip code, they should have known shipping cost ahead of time not reach out later and asked for more money. They also searched me up on the internet and pulled out my professional career information and with that obviously my name.
This is seriously concerning practice!!!

To ensure our community understands the reality of this transaction, here are the facts regarding your order:
1. The Failure to Plan (Lateness)
You placed this order on Friday night, December 19th. Our website explicitly states that road delivery requires 5–6 working days. By placing an order this late, it was mathematically impossible for it to arrive before Christmas. We cannot bend time to accommodate your delay.
2. The User Error (Wrong Data)
In your updated review, you admitted: "Apparently I put a wrong zip code." This was the root cause of the delay. You entered 72109.
The correct postal code for Agios Nikolaos is 72100. You blamed our system for not calculating shipping, but no algorithm can calculate costs for a location that does not exist. We spent extra time during our weekend manually correcting your data entry error.
3. The "Scam" Accusation
You repeatedly classified the "Remote Area" surcharge as a scam. This status is determined strictly by DHL, not us. We simply pass on the carrier's fee.
Proof: You and anyone reading this can verify the surcharge for your location at https://dct.dhl.com/.
Charging a standard, verifiable logistics fee is a business practice, not a scam.
4. The Fake Identity & Professional Irony
Through public records, we are aware that you work professionally in the E-commerce Fraud Prevention sector. This makes your conduct even more baffling. You chose to post this review under a fake identity ("Thea Kalli") rather than your real name.
A legitimate grievance requires no mask. If you truly believed your complaint was valid, why hide?
What were you afraid of?
It is deeply disappointing that an industry expert would make a basic data entry error, fail to recognize a standard carrier surcharge, and then hide behind a pseudonym to damage a legitimate business rather than stand by their words.

We processed your full refund on Sunday, December 21st, specifically to release your funds immediately so you could find another solution.
Despite this, you chose to threaten us!
A Tip for the Future:
We strongly suggest using a simple calendar reminder to place your Christmas orders in early December.
We hope next year you manage to succeed at such a simple task, sparing the rest of us from being blamed for your own lack of planning.
As such, you are flagged in our system as "Persona Non Grata."
We are not interested in doing business with individuals who use toxic tactics to cover up their own errors.

Unreliable product
I ordered a chocolate basket for my partner for Valentine’s Day as the basket had many things my girlfriend really likes and was a great gift. Unfortunately, while it arrived on time, nearly everything in the basket had been substituted for something she doesn’t like. The final basket ended up not resembling what was advertised at all. It’s an inconsistent product, only order if you don’t care what specifically arrives.
