I’ve never ordered food off the internet before and I was amazed how easy it was with this company. My niece had surgery and was unable to do anything for a while so I searched online and chose this company. The process was easy, the food arrived safely AND on time plus the food was fantastic ! I was so impressed that this company is now in my address book for future orders !

Send a Meal has been great. I've used their services when someone has passed away or had a baby or been ill and I wanted to support them and was not able to physically be with them. The people who've received these gifts have been very grateful and comforted. I absolutely will use again.

I sent this meal to my cousin after she had surgery. She craved about it. I sent the Sheppard stew. There was enough for three people. I’m very pleased

Sent meals to a relative who had undergone surgery. He said the food was tasty and the portions generous. Having paid for the meals, I have to say they were expensive, but the service and food were good so you get what you pay for.

We ordered this meal to send to friends in town when we normally would have taken a meal we made ourselves. However, during the pandemic, we wanted something that would be prepared to commercial standards by a reputable source. The meal was delivered on time and the recipients were very pleased with the quantity and quality.

I ordered these meals for a friend who had surgery. They arrived promptly, safely, and she assures me that they are delicious meals!!! They look so yummy I am tempted to order some for myself!

So far so good! Easy online ordering...no issues! Hoping the delivery and food service is just as good!

I bought this as a birthday gift for a friend who is going through a tough time. They seemed pleased and said they loved beef stew. Not sure when they will actually eat it but said they appreciated it!! However, was surprised when they thanked me for Omaha Steaks since I bought it through Send a Meal. The box they received was indeed from Omaha Steaks.

Used Send a Meal to send a friend food after losing a family member. The service was easy to use and reasonably priced! As the food was a gift, I did not partake; however, my friends said they enjoyed the meal. I did not get much details besides the food was good.

Using send a meal enabled me to share meals with a friend across the country who is experiencing a very stressful time right now. He and I are so happy we found you! Thank you

It was ok. Website was overly complicated to use and asked for too much info. Just wanted to pay and go. Phone folks helped.

I was pretty upset when this meal shipped out to know that Send a Meal is really Omaha Steaks. I was looking for a good quality meal, that I could share with my team. Unfortunately, if I had knows this company was Omaha Steaks, I would never have spent this much money on the meal.

Overall the food was ok - it wasn't bad (except the sauce for the Asian Pepper Steak - definitely avoid this), it was much less salty than I thought it would be, and the desserts I ordered were the best part of the meals.

I ordered two meals - Pot Roast Family meal - includes a pot roast, green beans, vegetable medley, and caramel apple tarts. The pot roast was pretty good, green beans were a bit odd with some odd cheese sauce that didn't heat up well, the vegetable medley was just like heating up frozen veggies, and the apple tarts were the best part of the meal.

Second meal was the Asian Pepper Steak, vegetable medley, individual scalloped potatoes and a sweet treats combo. The Asian Pepper steak looked good, until we added the sauce which was just not good. Scalloped potatoes were OK but could have used some more herbs in them for flavor. We had the cheesecakes from the sweet treats combo with this meal and it was the best of the second meal.

While I would not order this again, the food was decent for what it was and met my expectations once I knew who was providing the food. My rating is based the food itself as well as on the fact that I had no idea who ran this company, and I searched the website and its not listed anywhere.

Responding to Send a Meal comment - Thank you for that update, I did go and check the first paragraph and it did include Omaha Steaks as a vendor and it includes several other vendors. Maybe it would have been good to see on the meals the name of the vendor providing them as an additional data point.

Love your company and the very fast service. The meals are delicious and have been enjoyed by a good friend who lost a husband, and my brother, who is going through grueling chemotherapy treatments.s

Awesome service and food!

The food and the delivery is great but since they have made the 5 and 7 day meal plans unavailable, it is much more difficult to find full meals to send to people!

I sent this as a gift. It was received quickly. I'm anxious to see what the gift recipient thinks.

The person that I sent the package to moved. I understand that is my bad. But when I reached out the day before delivery in inquire why the tracking number they provided still said there was no label created customer service simply wrote back reissuing the same tracking number. I wrote back over the weekend to try and change the shipping address but they are not available over the weekend. So I simply got a reply on Monday that it was delivered and no more to be done. So the $150 I spent is now in the hands of someone I don’t even know. I understand where I was at fault but they sure didn’t do much to help when I initially reached out.

We've sent Send-a-Meal for gifts a dozen or so times now-- always a hit! We've had a few ourselves as well; they are well packaged, easy to heat and delicious!
This is our go-to for get wells, condolences, births- those times when folks could use a night off of dinner prep.
In all of those dozen or so orders, only had one issue, and customer service handled it via email in less than an hour. Excellent customer service!!
My only critique is that there isn't a vegetarian option or 2 in the gift "occasions menu," but that isn't enough to impact a 5-star review.
