Amazing service
The whole process was seamless from start to finish. I did have to contact the company to ask a question and the lady was unbelievably kind, sensitive and informative. I had my results back within 24hrs of the test and the information surrounding the whole experience was second to none. I have been recommending this company to everyone. With the NHS on the sorry state that it is, I cannot recommend using this company as an excellent alternative.

Just two biomarkers for a Kidney function test at £59? Seriously? You can't customise to add either.
EDIT: I have added stars for their customer service. It's a U&E kidney function test (inc potassium) I have been looking for. The website doesn't list one but it can be offered, in central London.

The cystatin C marker Kidney Function Test is not easily available in the UK and is actually sent to a referral laboratory in Europe for analysis. As you can imagine, this costs more than a basic kidney function analysis performed in the UK. I think we are actually one of the lowest priced providers of this specific test. Still, if you feel this is too much I’m very happy to discuss options with you.
You can add further markers to the test when you order or if there is something specific you would like we can also arrange that for you. We’re very responsive and you can reach us at support@selph.co.uk.

A Truly excellent service with customer happiness a clear focus
The service was excellent to be honest. Medical testing can be a bit anxiety inducing and if you’re paying for it vs going through the NHS, you want it to be very speedy and efficient. I received my test the day after ordering and when I posted it back, I had a confirmation email the lab had it the next morning. I wasn’t sure if I’d receive results same day, the website does say 90% of people do and I emailed to check to be told it depends what time the lab sends the reports over.
I was relieved to get the results early evening, it had a clear summary from the doctor (which was almost certainly automated based on the results but clear regardless ) as well as the full report from the partner lab they use.
This level of speed for delivery and then results after posting back is the best I could have hoped for. And their promise on the contact form to respond within an hour (usually) was also accurate.
I’d definitely recommend and I’m likely to use them again for other tests in the future. Thanks for providing this service and focusing on speed, that’s so important for anxious customers in these situations!
