There was an issue with the arrival of the books I submitted which was quickly resolved by WoB. Excellent service. Easy and simple to use via the InPost system.

So quick and easy to use. From downloading the app to posting (or collect) to money in your bank.

App is incredibly easy to use and I was able to send off my books without any issues. Processing always feels like it takes a while, but I might just be impatient! I am a very happy seller and will definitely be using them again.

Quick, effective online service, Decent prices for the books I wanted to sell on. The company kept in touch to update me on how the process was going and paid me promptly. Really easy to package and send. I will use again and highly recommend.

Easy to use app, would recommend

Very disappointed that the majority of the Blu-ray’s and DVD’s submitted were rejected as “Not original disk”. Almost all were purchased as new from reputable sources such as Amazon and HMV. I find it difficult to accept that over 35 discs were rejected for this reason. To argue this, you asked to provide original receipts, who keeps hundreds of DVD receipts over a period of years? In addition, 6 items were marked as “Not received” when they were definitely packed with everything else. Strange that they were mostly the more valuable items… Over £50 was knocked off the original quote. After all the time and effort carefully scanning and packing many items, I feel conned.

World of Books is amazing; they make the process so easy and convenient. Thank you for taking my textbooks, I hope another student can get a good deal purchasing these books. Specially with the tough economy.

The payment is usually fast. They take a average amount of books and I don't have to try and get rid of a lot of books or throw away books.

I was really disappointed.
I sent two boxes of books to World Of Books, each totalling around £5. Not a huge amount, but I accepted the deal and was happy for the extra cash whilst clearing out. I'd even forwarded WofBooks details to others doing the same!
The books I sent arrived and needed to be checked before payment which is sensible.

HOWEVER
First box they said one book was in 'poor condition or had pages missing', and removed it from the sale (the one with the highest price offer coincidentally)
This hardback book had recently been given to me as a present and I had only flicked through it, so I found that most surprising, but when I contacted them to ask why it was a generic reply with no way to prove this on either side.

I sent the 2nd box at the same time as the first, and this time (mysteriously), the first two books listed 'didnt arrive' and with all the other books despite being placed right at the bottom of a large box and sealed with excessive parcel tape! 'Missing!'

I am never using World Of Books again as sadly, I dont trust them. If you read through other reviews, I don't seem to be alone in this and this.

I think they need investigating...
