I received my Christmas T-shirts after Christmas. I would never use this Company Again. Of course I disputed this with my credit card company and could send the T-shirt back to them and dispute and get a refund, but I'm exhausted by the lack of self awareness - it is anxiety inducing to be the person responsible for the Christmas t-shirts and having to run to the $2 shop on Christmas Eve to find an alternate. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY is all I can say or like me buy them this Christmas and you will have them 11 months in advance for next christmas. What a DISGRACE.

As a first-time customer, the lack of early communication was very unsettling. I did start to worry when I couldn’t get a response.I emailed a few times and didn't ger a response for about 5 days. After seeing the explanation about Christmas volumes, I understand what happened. It wasn’t the smoothest experience, but I don’t believe this reflects how they normally operate

I ordered a tshirt and pin from Selfawear on 6-12-2025. I realised after I placed the order that I had ordered the wrong size, so emailed them within 5 minutes. I had no response after several days. I emailed again. Nothing. There is no other way of contacting them - there is no phone number. As this was meant to be a Christmas gift, I was a bit frantic, so decided to place another order. Still no response to the first order or emails. I have received several generic 'we apologise and we love you all' emails. Remarkably the second order arrived in the new year. The first order has not arrived, and still no response from them. For all the love, positive, new age vibe, their customer service is disgusting and they still have my money. And I have no doubt they have other customers money as well, without providing products.

The delay and lack of response initially was frustrating. after reading the update and understanding how busy they were, I don’t believe customers were intentionally ignored. Hopefully lessons are taken from this peak period as the brand itself seems genuine
I received the T-shirt that I ordered and the text has a spelling mistake - “everyithing” instead of “everything”. It is spelled correctly in other versions of the shirt, in the title and description of the shirt and was clearly an error. Instead of acknowledging this and offering a refund, I was told (in a clearly chatGPT generated email) that it was intentional and part of the irony of the print - which is clearly not true. It’s a shame they couldn’t have taken that feedback in a helpful way and I’m left now still chasing a refund with very delayed responses to my emails. I ordered this shirt on 9/11/25, received it 8/12/25 and I still have no resolution as of the end of Jan 2026.
An absolute shame that what otherwise appear to be good designs are let down by such terrible customer service.

The print is pretty, but that is why I chose this design. However, I ordered a large, which I knew would fit. They sent an extra large which is huge. I have sent a message to customer support via email and am waiting to see how we can fix this conundrum.
While the support person I finally dealt with was helpful, it was too little, too late.
So, it’s taken about 6 weeks and multiple emails to finally get this sorted. They sent the wrong size, but I had to pay the postage to send the unworn item back. The hoodie cost $69.95, they refunded me $66.06, which I am assumming means they took a portion of a $5 voucher off. But it still leaves me $15.25 out of pocket for postage costs. Quite unfair, since I didn’t order the wrong thing. I already new exactly what size I needed, as I have purchased from them before. The packing slip in the package showed L, the hoodie was an XL. I won’t make the mistake of dealing with this company again!

Terrible customer service. Have purchased from this store multiple times, and every single time has been an issue with late delivery and poor communication. They advertise it will take about 3 weeks generally, instead it has always taken closer to 6 weeks - and the first order took over 8 weeks in which they did not respond to any emails in that time. This last time I ordered Christmas presents, and a Christmas shirt on the 1st of December. Emailed multiple times from the 15th December onwards to see if my items were coming prior to Christmas. No response. Received a generic email on the 19th to say - sorry to everyone who ordered from the 1st December onwards - it won’t be there until the new year, but it you wait they would love to send a little gift with your order to say thank you. Great. So I responded immediately and said - that’s fine, I will wait but can you cancel the Christmas themed shirt as it will be no use to me. Received a response about 10 days later to say ‘no problem - let us know which shirt’. 1 hour later the order had been dispatched and I was at work so hadn’t seen my emails. Responded 2 hours after the initial one to ask if it was cancelled or sent, as it was the only Christmas shirt on the order. Still to this day have not had any responses to any of my 6 sent emails. Including asking if it could be returned. The little gift included was a tiny cheap bag.
Their clothing is absolutely amazing. And the meaningfulness of the shirts is fantastic. But customer service is an absolute failure, and there is a constant worry that you have been scammed. The first order I placed, I only received any communication (after the 8 weeks) through PayPal as I put in a claim to say the goods were not provided and to cancel and refund the order.
Will update this if I do hear back from the company. But I won’t be holding my breath.
