Just wanted to share a huge THANK YOU for going ahead with this expedition to Papua New Guinea

It was absolutely epic on so many levels: culture, nature, physicality, camaraderie and organizational leadership. Ben and Clarissa are the real deal and were fantastic from start to finish.

SC expeditions have made a genuine impact on my life over the years.

I have wanted to write a review for SC for a while now but didnt feel it fair until i had a comparison. I have been with Secret Compass twice now and both times provided unforgettable experiences, they are great at what they do and would recommend them to anybody. However, I have recently used a similar company and found them to be much more reasonably priced and provided the same quality experience, SC has also been drastically reducing the amount of options available (unless you book privately) since the pandemic and seem to be moving towards more commercial sector as opposed to individuals, they only offer their expeditions once a year as well and can be waiting months to find out if it even goes ahead due minimum numbers policy, sometimes my emails didn't get responses either. Hopefully they will improve in the future but until then I will be going elsewhere.

The team at Secret Compass (and especially Cat) was extremely impressive in the manner in which they conducted their operations. They were very well organized and very well prepared in all facets of their Angel Falls abseil, and I wish to commend them for their detail and effort in actioning my involvement. Excellent.

Mongolia exped totally lived up to my expectations.

Absolutely loved my riding adventure in the Altai Mountains. A dream come true trip, thank you Secret Compass. Brilliantly organized. I want to do another one!

Amazing customer service form start till end. The expedition leaders were both very friendly, supportive and helped us individually. The activities were well planned and the right level of challenging to make it an incredible adventure!

The destination itself was fantastic, and the UK leader (Rob) and local Kurdish guide (Omer) were just brilliant. I would recommend going a few days early or staying late to experience more of the area and not only the mountain. I honestly had a great time!

The trip is amazing and with secret compass (SC) it will be as safe as it gets. SC provides lots of equipment and medical stuff to ensure that they got you covered in most situations which made us feel safe.
Other than that Mongolia is a 180 expedition meaning that it is not very physical demanding although many hours in the sadle and many days camping will have a toll on you.
Furhtermore, locals are extremely friendly and civil. Food is good and they are very helpful in anything you need.
Last be prepared for some really cold nights and snow. Some days the thermometer showed -5, -8 and -10 everything was frozen. So prepare accordingly.

Fantastic company to deal with. Clear communication ahead of start date. Supportive, friendly staff. Great way to experience adventure.

Absolutely fantastic adventure day in the Brecon Beacons.
The event was very well organised from start to finish.
The guide was brilliant and accounted for everyone's fitness ability and no one felt any pressure to speed up.
I highly recommend Secret Compass and will definitely be using them again.

Fantastic experience doing the Wales adventure weekend. Everyone involved, especially the Secret Compass team, were amazing. Nothing beats a day of trekking and zip lining, followed by a wild camp in the woods! Would definitely use SC again.

Having been excitedly nervous about the weekend, I had a throughly excellent time. The organisation from before I arrived through to when we were dropped off at Newport station on Sunday night was spot on. The leaders were highly experienced and supportive; I was pushed but to just the right level, achieving more than I expected of myself.

Amazing experience and great team! The location was gorgeous and we really got a taste of what it'd be like to be on an expedition. Learnt a few nice tricks too. Could not recommend more!

Fantastic team of people both on group and our two top notch leaders. I have no doubt our expedition was a success mostly due to their leaderships and professional guidances

Not only I had the time of my life but I also made some lifelong friends.

I was lucky enough to experience a taste of nomadic life in the Siberian tundra with a family off Nenets and their 3000 reindeer.
It was well beyond my expectations as I had never tried the cultural immersion style of expedition before. Our Russian speaking Australian guide Patrick was one of the best guides I have travelled with. He had a great relationship with the Nenets and was a true professionals in all aspects of his job. Dema and Vlad, our other two guides were also true professionals, Dema in particular having substantial knowledge in Nenets and Russian history.
The trip has left me pinching myself as I still cant quite believe the amazing experience I’ve just had.
I would have no hesitations in recommending this trip to any intrepid traveler.
5 star plus all the way.

An absolutely amazing and one of a kind experience. I would highly recommend for anyone seeking that out of the box adventure.
