I have only ever had very positive interactions with Seaside Tones in Australia. They offer fantastic customer service and are so accommodating and efficient. And their dresses (I have lots of them!) are amazing quality.
Very poor customer service. They don't know how to work with clients.
First, when I was deciding to order a linen kimono dress I asked to help me with size choice and asked specific questions about the size. They didn't answer any of my questions and just sent me to the website (like I didn't know where to look duh...).
When the dress came the length and width was right but it didn't fit my proportions. The chest and waist of the dress were too height for me and though I really, really wanted this dress I decided to return it because I couldn't possibly wear it.
....here we come to the second bad point - returns.
Second, return I packed and sent back by post.
How was I surprised and shocked when it returned back to me.
They didn't collect it. It was there, in their post office for a month!!
And then was sent back to me.
So now I have $170 worth of dress I can't wear + $50 post charge and about 4 month time waiting for parcel to go back and forth.
Funny, I don't have anything bad to say about thier dresses, they are beautifull, a work of art and linen fabric is very good. But their customer service is absolutely terrible. I would never order anything from seasidetones.coam again and advise anyone to think twice before ordering.
Very poor customer service when it comes to returns. Even though I followed exact instructions for returning an item, they refused to accept the parcel even when sent registered mail. After may emails and proof that it was sent to the correct address thanks to postal tracking, they informed me that they would have to pay some customs fees on their side and from then on, refused to answer any email.
My package is being returned by the postal service because of Seaside Tones' refusal to accept it.
Not customer oriented, poor return policy. Stay away from ordering online from this company.
