Don't waste your time with it, unless you want to try a paid version. For free you will get a poor interface and terrible resolution pictures.

Very Annoying on tablet, please make it easier, it keeps moving me around.
This is probably the easiest mapping website I have used. Over the last few years I have been using it to plan and log walks, bike rides and footpaths. Now I know where I have been without having to remember from years ago, every green bush and rock and overgrown turning through a field! I can revisit obscure trails or make sure I find a new route that I have never visited.
It's easy to use, especially on the laptop, and the account can then be synced through a browser to my mobile as an enhancement to paper mapping. The mapping tools are intuitive and allow you to map on your first try.
For me, part of the pleasure of walking is now planning the route, then mapping it afterwards in relation to other routes.
I have been using Scribblemaps for the last 14 or so months, and have been extremely happy with the service. The customer service is second to none (I recently had a slight issue that was resolved within 24hours, so thanks for that!)
I can't recommend them enough.
I find scribble maps superb for my needs. We travel semi permanently and I need to plot routes and points of interest. Easy to use and free. I'm sure there are providers out there with higher spec products but I want easy and quick and no subscription cost. I recommend you try.
Great tool for maintenance business! Very useful for clear property boundaries and service areas for all team members in the field. Also good for customers to proof and ok service areas. I really wish it had auto save!! Nothing is worse than creating some work and forgetting to save it, because every other tool we use has auto save, then it's gone! In this day and age you would think that auto save as you work would be standard. I would go to 5 stars if Scribble can make that happen ;) Thanks,

I was looking for a way to have a small team of volunteers distribute flyers in our local town. A predecessor had photocopied a rather out of date street map and used highlighter pens to show the roads each volunteer was to distribute to. Scribble maps provided a great way to achieve the same aim, with endless colour options and smart street following (à la google maps when showing a route from A to B) to highlight individual streets. The range of options vastly exceeded my requirements – highlighting streets and overlaying text labels. Although I managed to achieve all I needed within the trial period, I voluntarily paid for one month's licenced use, because it is so useful and merits support. Even though that month is long gone, I can still access my account and the maps I created a couple of years ago.
I searched around for other options on the Internet and found nothing comparable. Highly recommended if this functionality is something you need. The only thing not offered which would have been useful to me, but I suspect would be a costly addition because of Post Office data monopoly, would be to have up to date information about the number of residences in each street – ideally a number beside the cursor that increased as each street or part of street was highlighted!

Really good for people that do Mock EAS Alerts
Carolina has been AWESOME to work with. This map is for our retail merchants association, The Shop of South Hill. We are using this map as an interactive map for our customers, which can visit direct links to our businesses right from the map.
We are excited about the increased traffic and business this map has provided our members!
I don't like this website. I have to do a Lewis and Clark expedition project on it, and I have no clue how to, for example, find the Platte River. It's not necessarily Scribbles' fault, but my experience with it was very frustrating. That's how it tends to be when you try to map an 1800s route on a modern day map. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because Scribble Maps isn't entirely responsible for my frustration. Mostly, but not entirely. If you too are doing this for school, good luck. It took me an hour to put down one marker.

It needs a lot, here and there. Little nagging stuff. But once you get around some of the bugs and stuff, it's actually an incredibly useful tool.
The only thing I would beg for in the free version (though, it's making me think of upgrading, sooo...) is the layer management panel! It's killer to not be able to edit your placed markers.
Thanks and sorry about the previously harsher review -- it was my own fault for not understanding some of the limitations properly!
Also, the team behind this is lightning-fast with their community engagement. That's always worth a couple stars, IMO!

I liked the program for what it had to offer. I was frustrated with not being able to move the legend to a different size or space when printing.

I have had nothing but enjoyment with this powerful tool. On the road access is vital and I'm just a novice with it. I look forward to learning more about its capability and implementing it more into my day to day operations.
The idea of ScribbleMaps is very good, but the implementation is so buggy that it is unusable. The first map I tried to create, after adding five or six flight paths, refused to add any more, dragging the line to a random place on the map, having nothing to do with the position of the cursor. I may try it again if the bugs are ironed out.

I needed an app like this to identify households in a nieghborhood for nieghbor hood watch and emergency response. So far it has been great.
Still learning how to use it.
