Downloaded the app - no sign of the free 7 day trial. Came to trust pilot after trying in vain to cut the membership and discovered I wasn't alone in the world. Cancelled my associated credit card immediately, informed my bank and wrote directly and in no uncertain terms to received emails from ScreeApp that I wanted immediate cancellation which they confirmed and then telling them to send no further emails.

It took one hour to upload a file, then it asked me to sign up. When I signed up, the file was gone, and it keeps asking me to get a trial by inputting my personal information.

When you put a video link to download it, it shows you that in the background. But you have to log in via a gmail account to do it. Once you give it all your data, then you try to download the video, and it asks for credit card details. Fkin uckers can such my toe.

Would leave zero reviews if i could. company is a complete scam - i had a free trial for a couple of hours, canceled subscription yet they kept trying to card. zero support, noone is responding and emails are bouncing. will be disputing with amex.

I subscribed last year and used the service twice. I cancelled a month later because I no longer needed it. A full year later, out of nowhere, my card was charged again for a full year subscription.

I immediately contacted customer service, only to be told that it “cannot be cancelled.” After showing them proof that I had unsubscribed a year ago, they finally admitted it was a billing software malfunction and agreed to issue a refund.

But here’s the kicker, I’m in Canada, so when the refund came through, it was short by about $20 due to foreign exchange differences. Their mistake cost me money, and they refused to make it right.

I didn’t start this problem, they did. Yet I ended up paying for their incompetence. My biggest mistake was ever trusting this company in the first place. Absolutely unacceptable.

The app is useless, $168 is way too expensive for a recording of idk almost nothing recorded and that haven't talk about the transcription and summary. It's totally out of context and it causes me to lose a big client for failing to review the meeting recording session and write a new proposal that highlighted all my clients' requirements. When I contacted their live chat support for refund only AI is there to help me and no email response ever received. But the system promises "⏰ Response Time: Within 24 hours (usually much faster for critical priority)". ScreenApp what a way to fraud people? Terrible experience. There is no free video. No free test as advertised.

Signed up for a free trial. The app didn't do what I needed it to do so I canceled my account within one hour. I was still charged. They are absolute criminals. Steer clear.

Wasted 20 mins of my life waiting for this “free” app just to get to be told I need to pay

I subscribed for a $20 monthly subscription and my credit card was immediately charged $629AUD!!!
I immediately cancelled the subscription and email them. Awaiting a response but not hopeful they will do the right thing.

I'm just so tired of stupid software that advertises as free and then paywalls you immediately.

Misleading advertising!
They claim to have over 1 million users who love their product yet their testimonials are just stock photos; just reverse Google search them. They also only have 22 followers on Twitter.

They also infringe on bigger company's trademarks as another Google search will tell you that both Tesla and Atlassian do not endorse this product despite ScreenApp using their logos and claiming that their app is "Trusted" by them.

They are a scam. It was a free trail for a couple of days. When I tried using the app then they said I was over the limit. I needed to do a monthly subscription for 168.00. I then was told I need to upgrade for another price. I then reached out to then to stop the charges to my credit card but they had already submitted the charges. When I reached out to them again I was informed that they had not done so because I was still in a trail stage. I took pictures of credit card charges and sent it to them and they still refuse to admitt that they had charge my card. I have another card that was frozen and when contacting them, it was the fraud department that had done so because sreenapp had tried to charge 408.00 to this card. If this is not a scam I don’t know what is.

I'm using it to embed video with AI chapter markers which it does do a decent job of making the AI content, however, I am on week 3 of the embeds not working on any of my webpages. This is a business for me with 2,500 members trying to watch videos. The "Senior" team is working on it but to no avail. Looks like I will be back to vimeo, just wish Vimeo had the AI featuresScreen App has.

Unethical. They claim there's a free trial yet not even one trasncript/summary can be gotten for free. You are forced to pay, there is ONLY (!) an annual option and to avoid a ridicilous limit of 360 transcriptions per year, the pricing is over $400 (before you even tried ONE SINGLE VIDEO). When asked about a refund policy, the response is "there are no refunds". So:
- They claim a free trial exists when in reality you can't test anything.
- To test, you must pay FOR A YEAR. And you know you can't get your money back.

I mean, does it get more shady than this?

Garbage company. Forces you into an annual payment with no other options.

It's supposed to give you 45 minutes of video to try, but I try to upload a 5-minute video to try it out, and it asks for payment. There's no way to try it without paying, and you can only pay for 12 months.
