Publishing press releases for arms firms, with the PR person from the arms firm listed as the “author” and trying to pass this off as “journalism. Multiple times. Sickening.

I am so fed up of the anti Scottish articles.Will not be buying this paper in the future.

paper seems very anti scottish now it really has dropped its standards into the gutter over the last few years along with the evening news

The app very poor on my android phone. Doesn't download, Used to be ok but clearly updates have now made it poor. It appears to be that I must download every time to read anything and can't download to read later. Therefore failure to download makes it almost unusable. Perhaps it might be OK on a kindle but I along with many folk carry a phone. Have tried re installing ect but to no avail. Looks like they will lose another subscriber here after years.

The worst type of parochial, biased and school magazine-type reporting you will find anywhere. Lecturing rather than informative, and uttery bereft of any quality. Unbelievable that anybody would pay for such rubbish.

Hid my comments and banned me from seeing further development in a fb comments section. Regarding an article written by Brian Wilson. Because I commented on his hypocrisy in his criticism of the SNP acting like lesser Tories. The writer played an active part in orchestrating the Tory light policy’s of New Labour and supported and hollered for the illegal invasion of Iraq.

Its current coverage of the SNP leadership contest is woeful. Visiting journalists from North Korea could learn a thing or two from the Scotsman about attacks on democracy and burying the principles of free speech and a free press. Coverage free of any real scrutiny or historical appraisal of the candidates track record to date in the context of their day job. The editor is a hateful little man not only does he seek to suppress comments on his main site but has also done a deal with social media to ensure that articles comments are reduced to the inconsequential or faint praise or derision. Insight detail and actual facts are hated by the Scotsman which is no more then an in-house Boucher for the interests of the democratic failings of the Scottish parliament.

I see the Scotsman want a Subscription of £3-00 so you can read the paper, but I see many of its reports and articles you are not allow you to comment on them, so subscribing does not allow you to comment on many of its stories, I would not subscribe to any newspaper that had any articles that I was not allowed to comment on. Police articles is a favourite you are not allowed to comment on, if the Police capture a criminal then we are allowed to comment on it, but if the Police have been found guilty of failure we cannot comment on it, and most failures and any corruption by the Police are never reported on. A recent article about a man being jailed for naming the woman that accused Salmond of abusing them, we were not allowed to comment on that article, but Jackson Salmond's QC was not jailed for naming two of the woman on the Edinburgh to Glasgow train, all recorded by a fellow passenger. allegedly because he never printed it, so we can stand outside any Court that Judge Dorian is sitting in and shout out the names of these woman, then do time and time again and nothing will happen to anyone that does that, I would not advise anyone to do that as I am sure Judge Dorian would jail them, but not Jackson, The Judicial Criminal Cabal protecting one of its own, now what a surprise that is.

For a newspaper, it should be doing investigative journalism, it should be presenting multiple sides to a story and allowing the reader to decide, but unfortunately The Scotsman is much better at simply telling you what to think and who to hate.

Full of ad's and started playing audio / video when I landed on the site. Avoid like herpes
