I bought a scooterpac Atom scooter from Eden mobility in Derby who were a pleasure to do business with and am very pleased with the lightness of the scooter. The reason for only 4 stars is due to what I feel is a design fault. The cable to the motor passes under the axle and secured with a cable tie which leaves it vulnerable to unseen obstacles. Maybe the motor design could be altered to allow the cable to pass OVER the axle.

The wheelchair was excellent but unfortunately I couldn’t get into the kitchen and bathroom without assistance. The reason why I bought it in first place..
A very expensive mistake because it was not returnable.

I wasn't sure how to register my hubby's recliner chair. I was called back and my mind was put at ease.
For more than a year I have been unable to walk my beloved welsh collie.since I acquired my scooterpac invader I have been able to go out with the dog over fields along woodland paths it is amazing where it will go .It is so comfortable and easy to use I would highly recommend an invader for anyone who wants to be able to go off road. Three years ago I purchased a MK1 Invader which was second hand but only done less than 100 kilometers. The previous owner unfortunately had passed away. That machine has now done 4000 kilometers and is still going strong and still has the original batteries. It has had only one fault which was a drive shaft which had a flaw in the metal. A few weeks ago I purchased the latest model Invader which has the uprated motors in it. This machine is wonderful and will go anywhere including the dry soft sand on the beach. I also go all over the coastal footpaths and Downs in my county of Cornwall. I have tried other off road machines but this scooter is the best. Best wishes to the Scooterpac team. Mike

About nine months ago, I purchased an Invader mobility scooter from Scooterpac and it has changed my life.
Having lost a leg in an accident last year, I soon discovered that conventional mobility scooters were not going to allow me to walk my dogs in rural areas as they deserve. The Invader has an off-road capability like no other scooter and despite my best efforts, I have not got it stuck yet! Rough grass, ploughed fields and muddy tracks have all been navigated with ease.
In the thousand miles that I have covered so far, there have been a couple of small issues that have been quickly rectified by the friendly and helpful team at Scooterpac.
This is not a machine for cruising the supermarket aisles but for use on-road and in rural locations, I don’t think it can be beaten.

I purchased a Ignite Grande back in 2024 "NOT SURE OF EXACT DATES" at a cost of £4995 from Scooterpac's local dealer "Sheffield Mobility Hillsbrough". This was the 1st one and had to be replaced about 4 months in due to a re-accuring fauly with motor etc. After that bad experience with that scooter, I lost all trust in that scooter and informed Sheffield Mobility, that i wanted a replacement or my money back. Sheffield Mobility contacted Scooterpac and told them of my intentions and replaced it.. (RESULT)???? Erm... NO! The replacement was fine untill the warranty ran out 14 months later, then the scooter was loosing power on hills so i did some digging and found out it was the brushes that needed replacing. I thought that was it, BUT when i took the scooter out for another spin, it started to loose power on the hills again... AND the battery indicator was dropping conciderably. I got in touch with Sheffield Mobility again and they said it was the batteries that must be at fault and that they needed testing on a tester for 24 hours. did that and it turned out to be the batteries that was at fault so they failed the test!... AFTER ONLY 14 MONTHS THE BATTERIES NEEDED REPLACING!!!! Are you kidding me? I contacted Scootepac and they said it was uncommom for the batteries to go so soon BUT because the warranty had run out, they declined to replace them under warraty so i had to get them from Sheffield Mobiliy, at cost price to replace them.... My wife and i spent £9000 on these scooters and if we had known then what we know now, i wouldn't be writing this review. When they are working ok, the are fine, BUT when they brake down, they cost a fortune to repair and replace the parts.... My wife has the Ignite, i have the ignite grande... We are now very scared to use them incase they brake down because we just cannot afford these very exspensive repairs... AND, I was told by one of the mobile scooter repair people that if i got a punture, it would cost me £125 to come out and fix it... PMSL, (WHAT?)
UPDATE 21/08/2025
All though Scooterpac DID replace the batteries, they were NOT the correct spec as discusted with Josh at Scooterpac today... I would have preferred the cash back that i paid Sheffield Mobility for the replacements i had to get off my Creditcard, but Scooterpac said it was not there policy to give cash back, so i had no choice but to take the replacement batteries they offered. HOW EVER, my scooters spec (IGNITE GRANDE) were 12V/125Ah, Scooterpac only gave me 12V/110Ah because they said they stopped supplying the 125Ah batteries...
My scooter says it will carry 33st maximum weight & the scooter would do 45 miles on a full charge. IT WILL NOT NOW... As i said the Josh, i'm NOT happy with the alternative at all but what can i do? The batteries on my scooter are better than the one's Scooterpac supplied me... I think the replacements will just rot in the shed till needed, as long as they are still ok when the new one's pack in...
SORRY SCOOTERPAC, THE 1 STAR RATING STILL STANDS...

I bought an Atom Power folding electric wheelchair from their Dublin supplier. It’s light. It fits in the boot. BUT it seems to be assembled using a selection of cheap generic Chinese electronic parts. The cable routing is sloppy. To the extent that after about 6 uses, the cable from the joystick to the controller got trapped in the armrest hinge, and the cable got squashed and damaged. That’s when we discovered it had NO fuse or short circuit protector. Basically a firetrap. And if you are a full time wheelchair user, there’s a fair chance you will be severely injured or worse, if you are sitting on top of two lithium batteries burning at high temperatures. I’ve tried to contact Scooterpac in the UK via email, webchat, and via their web contact form, no reply. DO NOT buy an Atom Power wheelchair. You would be better off go on Alibaba and buying the same bits and bolt them to a manual chair. Very disappointed in the product and the company. It’s sitting in the Dublin suppliers shop awaiting parts that it looks like Scooterpac cannot supply? In reply to your question below, the wheelchair was bought from GoMobility in Dublin on 28th May 2025. UPDATE. I have the Atom Power back from GoMobility. Repaired at a cost of over €330 to us. And the “repaired “ wiring has exactly the same dangerous wiring route. And is just as susceptible to being crushed and damaged by the armrest hinge. Photos available on request. Same advice, DO NOT buy an Atom Power wheelchair. It is fundamental flawed and requires proper safe cable routing and protection at the area where it is at risk of damage.

I purchased a new Invader based on catalog description. Big mistake! Firstly it looks wonderful, however the steering is very heavy, its a clumsy lump, difficult to manouver.
The brakes are awful, very heavy handle bar brakes, same as a bike but hydraulic, unless you are very strong operating them is really hard to stop such a heavy machine. no foot or handbrake.
The brakes are interlocked with the throttle. So you have to release the handlebar brakes before the motors will operate, and there is a time lag between the two, so hill starts are dangerous as the trike rolls back during the lag.
I couldn't recommend this machine unless for use on fairly flat ground with wide pathways ,and you have big muscles .not a relaxing ride.
A plastic part of the front forks cracked and after several phone calls over the last month a replacement part has still not been received.

Excellent personal service to deliver an amazing scooter - not really a word that does it justice! Racing trike? Speed scooter? Trike transporter? Fabulous machine

Scooterpac response zero, sorry but can't do anything. Lesson; once you've purchased vehicle, you're on your own, don't come to us with your problems!

in October I purchased an ignight, I like the performance but the steering is abysmal if travelling along a pavement with dropped kerbs the steering takes over and swerves from side to side dangerously, and when cornering suffers from oversteer
