I recently attended the 4 week course at SOS and for someone who has lived with scoliosis for 50 years and told by many doctors and surgeons that nothing could be done for my back, I have come away fitter, stronger, more aligned and over 2cm taller!
All the staff at SOS were fantastic and would give everyone the care and attention they needed during the day when learning and carrying out the very specific exercises.
At the beginning everyone starts with the same excersies, though as the days go by the staff will modify the excersies to suit your curve type and what works best for you. Resulting in a very personal set of excersies that work best for you.
You also take part along with a group of others who all have various degrees of scoliosis. This meant everyone was going through the same kind of thing, you are not alone! and you are able to share experiences and make some new friends even who understand you and your curve so much more.
I will definitely be going back at some point in the future for check ups and refresher sessions.
Helpful for my daughter with her back pain

I registered my daughter, Jessica Alalibo in your facility located in Manchester as she went through consistent pain as a result of scolliosis for the past 4 years or more. The treatment given under the guidance of Henry is very encouraging from the view of before and after reports. She is better now than before. Keep the good work.
Mr. Karibo Alalibo

I’d love to thank the team and Henry at the Manchester clinic. I feel more confident in taking care of my spine, and owe this to the detailed explanations Henry gave during our sessions. I highly recommend, as I had a lovely experience and saw improvements!

I was relieved to find Scoliosis SOS Clinic for my son as I did not want to go down the surgical route.
I signed my son up for the 60 hour course in Birmingham which was absolutely the right decision. Max is very knowledgeable and professional and the improvement these sessions have made for my son’s back are incredible.
The only downside to this treatment is the cost. It is expensive!

What an impressive team! I completed 2 separate 2 week programmes at the London clinic recently. The whole experience, whilst very intensive, was very positive. The team of specialist therapists were real experts, focusing on individual conditions and requirements, sharing their own knowledge and adapting exercises to meet each patient’s needs. It has made a real difference and I shall continue to work on my exercise programme, so as not to lose all the progress I made. The whole team were excellent - Berke and Sam were especially helpful to me but all the physiotherapists made a big contribution. Thank you to all!

We would like to highly recommend the treatment provided by Annie at the London clinic and virtually over a year. Her help has been transformative. My teenage daughter came to the clinic after bad experiences with the NHS and was very guarded. Annie was kind and put her at ease, she explained the exercises so clearly and motivated my daughter. We have seen visible improvement, which has been invaluable helping my daughter’s body confidence and self-image as well as pain.
I have only given 4 stars overall as I find the organisation’s pricing is not transparent - increases in agreed costs were sprung on us more than once which was confusing. However in terms of value of treatment provided - it was a game changer for us - 5 stars for Annie and the scoliogold therapy.

I can't begin to explain the difference these sessions with Lewis have made to my life. My back would spasm daily and regular tasks were off limits to me, due to the severe pain they would cause. I was led by my back.
Through doing these sessions I've been able to improve my posture, reduce my pain, and build muscle in the places it was most needed.
Lewis is not only fantastic at his job, he's also a pleasure to talk to and has made the sessions enjoyable and informative
I would wholeheartedly encourage anyone to explore this as an option.

This is my fourth time to the clinic. I go in ever so often to refresh my exercises. The therapists are great. It's hard work and like a fitness regime it's up to the patient to keep the exercises up post treatment

I have recently finished the ScolioGold treatment where I did a mix of virtual sessions and group sessions in the London clinic. I loved it and found it very helpful. All the pyshiotherapists are so nice and helped me a lot especially Luke, Kritika, Sophie, George and Berke. I have felt a big difference and improvement since doing my exercises and have been getting less back pain. I would 100% recommend doing this.

The London SOS Scoliosis team are incredible! I found them to be truly caring and highly responsive and proactive in my care. I opted for Group Therapy sessions, and had the good fortune to meet a team of quite exceptional professionals.
Each of the physiotherapists are focussed and attentive whilst remaining friendly and approachable throughout, it feels as if you’re receiving one-on-one care, and I’m so very grateful to George, Sophie, Kritika, Berke, Luke, Marcus and Samantha for their outstanding care. Even in Group Therapy each of us were exercising through what felt like a bespoke course of exercise.
The physiotherapists provide full explanations of each exercise with purpose and benefit in language easy to understand. The advantages and effects of the exercises can be felt and seen, and have positively improved my strength, mobility and posture significantly, and I am following the home exercise guidance to strengthen and further enhance my gains.
In addition, George identified and helped me overcome mental blocks that have been with me for decades, opening up a whole new world of possibilities, providing additional exercises and maintenance advice adapted ideally to my specific issues, and Sophie was instrumental in refining a series of my exercises into an optimised form.
I wish I had found SOS Scoliosis years ago, the Team and their service are utterly outstanding, training and educating with compassion, experience, resolve and expertise. I would recommend SOS Scoliosis London very highly recommended.
Bravo, Team SOS Scoliosis London! Thank You for making me stronger and straighter!

I am an international patient with about 50-degree curve, and I recently completed the 4-week intensive programme at Scoliosis SOS Clinic.
The Programme & The Team
- The team at the clinic is truly wonderful, very supportive, approachable, and always open to answering any questions or concerns throughout the treatment.
- They take time to explain the purpose and benefits of each exercise, which really helps you understand what you’re working on and why.
- During the programme, they take measurements/scans five times: once at the start, and then at the end of each week. The first scan is done in your normal posture, while the following ones are in your conscious posture (the corrected posture they teach you). On the final day, they do both (relaxed and conscious) to compare them with your very first scan.
- The program also includes two massage or dry needling sessions, which I found extremely helpful in reducing muscle pain and stiffness.
- After the 4 weeks, I can already notice visible improvement in my normal posture, and my goal now is to keep practicing the home exercises to make my conscious posture feel natural.
- Being part of the group treatment means you get to meet several therapists. I’d like to thank the amazing team, George, Sophie, Luke, Samantha, Berke, Kritika, Georgia, Marcus, and Annie, for their guidance and encouragement throughout the treatment.
The Admin & Logistics Team
The admin team has always been responsive and polite in their communication, but I did experience some lack of clarity in certain areas.
- Equipments are included in the programme fees, but international patients don't receive the 2-meter pair of poles as they can't be shipped overseas. I was not informed about this beforehand, and only found out after bringing it up myself that I already paid for a piece of equipment that I won’t receive. They told me the cost could be credited to my account for future sessions (not refunded). I was fine with this since I am planning to get the 6-month checkup session (which is with extra fees), so I guess I can use the clinic credit, but I believe the poles cost should be deducted from the initial program fee for international patients, and this should be communicated transparently from the start.
- I also wasn’t aware that two massage or needling sessions were included in my treatment until midway through the programme.
Overall, I absolutely recommend this treatment, as long as you are committed and do the exercises designed for you as a life-style. The 4-week programme alone won’t “fix” your curve, but it will significantly improve your condition and, more importantly, give you the tools and knowledge to manage it long-term. It’s a life-changing start to a lifelong journey of maintaining a healthy spine.

I wish I had known about Scoliosis SOS earlier. Their team of physiotherapists are outstanding. The programme is demanding but individualised for each client's particular needs. There is excellent communication between members of the team so the programme runs very smoothly. As a 79 year old, with worsening posture and pain over the last 15 years, and having undergone various physio and medical treatments which did not improve my condition, I did not have high expectations, but was very pleased that my posture had improved at the end of the 4 week programme and the exercises help to manage pain when it occurs. Equipment is provided to continue with the exercises at home, which I feel will be essential to maintain my progress and, I hope, to improve even more. The staff are so kind, approachable, and knowledgeable and I would recommend the programme without hesitation.

Have been attending SOS Scoliosis clinics since completing the original course in 2012, both London and Manchester once the regional clinics opened. Have had experience of several physiotherapists over the years, all have been excellent and very supportive, adjusting and adding or removing exercises as required. Henry at Manchester (and Scott before him) particularly good at breaking an exercise down into easy steps to achieve the desired effect.

Got to meet up with Henry, my therapist, again on 01/09/2025 after six months since finishing a course of his scoliosis treatment.
I had a busy summer with grandchildren, hence had a couple of exercise free months. Once again, Henry instilled a motivation within me in kickstarting my exercise programme and I realised just how much I missed this same programme. Not only had I become stiffer but my posture had regressed somewhat.
I'm back on track, thank you Henry, and once again, Bless you.
yours gratefully,
Marita Robinson

Scoliosis SOS Clinic is a place where my hope to get away from surgery flourished. I started my journey back in 2022 with the clinic, and now that I have grown older and more responsible, the clinic was delighted and extremely helpful to help me with a new and fresh start to act on my body, not only for health and quality of life reasons but for aesthetic reasons as well. The clinic's therapists are all lovely to work with, and they are all extremely understanding, helpful, and collaborative to make sure the best outcome and goals are reached for the patient. With my most recent therapist, Berke Armutlu, he was a pleasure to work with, and he was extremely understanding of my cramped school schedule. He still provided hard work, collaboration, and communication in order to do the best when wanting to achieve my goals.

My experience with Scoliosis SOS Clinic
I completed the 4-week intensive programme this year.
On the clinical side, the experience was very positive:
• The therapists are knowledgeable, supportive, and the ScolioGold programme is well structured.
• I saw visible improvements in posture, shoulder alignment and overall awareness of my scoliosis.
• The exercises are practical and I left with a clear home programme to continue on my own.
However, the administrative and logistical side was disappointing, especially given the cost of nearly £5,000:
• Email communication was slow and often vague, with some replies taking over a week.
• Equipment that was supposed to be included (the poles) was never provided. I only learned much later that they could not be shipped internationally, even though this should have been made clear at the start.
• Instead of a refund for the missing equipment, I was offered “credit on file”, which feels inadequate when the full course has already been paid.
• Heel raises were added to my invoice without clear explanation, and when I asked in person no one could give me a concrete answer.
In the end, the treatment itself was worthwhile, but the administration and transparency need serious improvement, particularly for international patients who invest a lot of time, effort and money. For a clinic of this reputation, I expected much higher standards of communication and organisation.

The London Scoliosis SOS Clinic changed my life. In 2019 I was getting breathless and told within a couple of years I might need oxygen. I phoned the clinic and asked if at my advanced age (then 79) they could help. They said they had an 80-year-old man already on oxygen who came off it after treatment. I signed up immediately and started a month's course with a couple weeks break in the middle to accommodate their schedule.
My breathing improved, my posture improved - so much so that people I didn't see that often noticed.
The classes were hard work but fun, and after the course we were sent home with equipment needed to carry on with daily specific exercise regimes.
Every 6 months now I continue to attend a 2 or 3 hour 1:1 session. In the first years it was with Adam, last couple with Finty, most recently 18 August 2025. These are valuable follow-ups to monitor progress, finesse performance, and sometimes assign new exercises. They can get a bit boring so one needs incentives! And as one gets stronger, exercises and stretches get easier so tweaks are made.
Since December 2019, I have religiously done my exercises every morning, and can honestly say it was the best investment I ever made! I cannot recommend the Scoliosis SOS clinic and its staff highly enough!
