Charles Schwab is the best

I have never experienced a company as good as Charles Schwab. They will remail your tax forms if you did not get them with the US mail that is a joke. They always answer my questions the best. I have been with them about the last 7 years and cannot say enough good about them.

At first the platform looked…

At first the platform looked professional and showed steady profits, which encouraged me to deposit more. But when I tried to withdraw my earnings, the request stayed pending, and support kept responding with delays and additional requirements instead of processing it. I'm happy with #centuryandhundred, their words match their progress, communication stays clear, and withdrawals are handled smoothly without unnecessary delays.

Terrible Experience!

I'm new to Charles Schwab, but my experience has been terrible. Here's why:

1. Communication - After I applied online for Checking and Brokerage accounts, I did not receive any confirmation of doing so. After a few days, I decided to call them, and they said the application was on hold, because they needed me to fill out the DocuSign version of the application. No one from Charles Schwab reached out to me to notify me that I needed to do this. I filled-out and submitted the DocuSign version of the application, and again, I did not hear back from Charles Schwab.

2. Inconsistency - My partner also applied for the Checking and Brokerage accounts at the same time. However his application was approved, but again, he did not receive a confirmation of any kind from Charles Schwab.

3. Zelle - We couldn't get Zelle to work. We called Charles Schwab, and they asked us to try again, later in the day. We followed their instructions, and we were still unable to use Zelle. After a few days, my partner tried to log into his account to see what's going on, only to learn that his account was LOCKED! He called Charles Schwab immediately and learned that his account was locked due to potential fraud concerns. Charles Schwab ask him to visit a physical Charles Schwab branch to present a photo ID and 2 recent utility bills. Of course this request was completely INCONVENIENT, but we had no choice. We did as requested; however, my partner's account is still LOCKED, and his funds are still FROZEN. This is UNACCEPTABLE!

I am highly disappointed with our experience with Charles Schwab. You get one change to make a first impression, and Charles Schwab has failed on multiple accounts. As such, I can NOT recommend this company.

Can't give a 5 star rating

Can't give a 5 star rating. Charles Schwab charges the same commission for micro futures (2.25) per side. What I absolutely love about Charles Schwab is that everything is in one account. No having to switch money from futures to stock account.

Schwab will deny you access to your money!

Schwab denied me access to a Roth IRA account even after receiving a fully executed Trading and Withdrawal Authorization, so I lost $1,400.00 on two call options trades.
The Schwab representative just said “there was a glitch on our system.”
I will pursue formal complaints with FINRA and the SEC.
Investors, beware!!

I tried to place a trade with a broker…

I tried to place a trade with a broker and I was in a hurry in pre-market. I proceeded to get a lecture as to why I could not place the trade on-line. I am 70 years old and already knew why, but he insisted on lecturing me instead of placing my trade. I hung up because I was so pissed off.

Can you just answer the phone already???

It's hard to describe how poor their customer service is when a company's phone disconnects you after the answering machine message giving you their hours of work. Before Covid they had great reviews, after Covid I think they forgot to rehire their employees.

I don't understand why they keep…

I don't understand why they keep changing their rules all the time, and now they have started asking for certain fees that I wasn't inform in the beginning. They are not transparent in their service. But #Crop Mines.. has proven outstanding and pays on time without any issues.

Very unimpressed with the Trust Management Division

I am a Schwab customer and have been with them 20+ years. Recently, I tried to move my children's trusts from a different corporate trustee to Schwab. We talked for 8 months. There were promises and agreements made during the discussion and later revoked. Conversations were circular leading to no result. Treatment of the customer was disrespectful. As a result, I am moving and going to Vanguard. Lower cost, better service ...

Still Charge Fees for Options?!

I recently opened a new Schwab account I had previously closed my TD account a few years back. I have been trading options for almost 6 years and almost all the other brokerages do not charge any commissions for Options. Schwab still charges $.65 per option, per leg. With my trading style (Iron Condors) I have wasted over $400 last month just is bs fees! Yes, it was my choice, but why trade with Schwab when you can trade elsewhere without fees?! I am in the process of closing my positions and will be withdrawing my funds by Friday.

Customer support is convenient via the mobile Apps, which by the way are terrible compared to Robinhood, MooMoo, WeBull. Literally nothing advantageous here except CNBC through ToS.

I just called for info on a rollover…

I just called for info on a rollover ira account and it was like pulling teeth to get answers. They even said we'll nothing special on the type of account.
Very short answers. Asked if I had a account with them I said no but would like to for a rollover ira account and it was like you can hear birds chirping cause they stayed quite and didnt give me any information on what I need to to or what I needed .I Thanked them for there type and hung up.

Good for banking only

Good for banking only, Charles Schwab is a terrible choice for long term investment . The returns on my $40k investment has been really frustrating . I paid the same amount to PAY MINE , i got more than $60k after a month . The right information is really vital in decision making to make you progress .

If I could rate this a negative i would i was gave a choice when they acquired TD ameritrade which was the greatest platform ever i stopped trading for a while then I opted to give schawb a shot i was told the investor checking came with a brokerage account which was a boldface lie they require a Chexx system to open the account that is allegedly included with a brokerage account i called in bc i was wondering why my investment checking was not open as that is the only way I could fund my account they led me astray

I am contined to wait for a check from…

I am contined to wait for a check from Shwab that was supposed have been overnighter through UPS on Wednesday weeks ago with an arrival date the Friday afterwards. When I read the other reviews it appears that this is a pattern with Schwab. I have called Shwab and discussed with them that the bank it does business with has the ability to digitally email me an encrypted password that contains only info I will know and the check. I have discussed with Schwab that since investments are time sensitive and because of this debacle I will be pulling every dime out of my account and closing it permanently.

Charles Schwab Assists Fraudsters!

Charles Schwab sucks. Bought a gold chain with my debit card and the retailer tried to cheat me by telling me the chain weighed more than it did. I found out when I got home and weighed it. Charles Schwab was no help with the charge back. They were on the side of the fraudulent retailer.

I was the beneficiary Jay Roy he left me a 401k an IRA stock bonds and CDs, I had a multi-million dollar lawsuit and other things that was left to me on my side of the family land property and IRA retirement funds and when I got my account I did not like the way they treated me when I talked to tye advisor the broker they did not explain anything to me and nothing they even asked me how I found out about it because they didn't even try to find me for 5 years they ran on this money and invested and did what they wanted with my money without my permission, please people whatever you do not trust them do not leave anything for your family with them if you're going to do anything invest and go silver medals but don't trust them that's why they only got one and two stars because they're sorry excuse for a business that I've never seen in my life go Frontier Invest Corp. I don't believe there is bad as stability and things like that matter even they have their own policies but please if you want to leave your family anything or legacy don't leave them to do it in Charles Schwab because they will never get any money you intended for your family or friends rather do it with Frontier Invest Corp.
Don't put money in their Banks or investments with your family will never get it they'll never look for them that's how they make you live frugal as they live in million dollars homes and drive nice cars and stuff but they want you to live frugal without nothing even if you have multi, they are the worst regret I've ever had that's why they only have one two stars with your money that everyone else is trying to tell you don't because of them stealing from the dead which is the most disgraceful act you can do taking away someone's last wish.
