Waiting for a blazer since November 11th. I have written three emails to which they replied citing courier problems. They are no longer replying to my emails. Every time I phone them the phone is either busy or rings out. Absolutely useless. I shall write for a refund and if they don't reply immediately it is time for the small claims court it seems.

don't ever buy from this store its been 2 month all i asked for is 2 blazers to be braided keeps making excuse after excuse soon as i mentioned a refund i stopped getting messages and he ignores calls i will be taking them to court

20 weeks and still no order and no refund.
Despite several phone calls and ignored emails, promises of delivery and then refunds, I am still without a uniform or a refund.
When you call the shop (on the occasion they answer) you’re met with a blunt response from a female who gets annoys and ends the call when you try to complain.

I have never dealt with such an awful company. Why any school still uses them is beyond me and I, along with several other parents, have requested our place of education no longer them.

I placed an order on 29/08/22. I have phoned them several times to be told something different on each occasion. I have been told that the order was dispatched/with the supplier/due any time now/that the manager will call me back. I have now asked for a refund which I have no idea if I will get!

Scam - Never received uniforms will not refund money - do not use - Will keep sending you emails promising to pay but it has been 4 months and still waiting. Would not give them a one star!

AVOID THIS PLACE? SCAMMERS! Like every other bad review I placed an order for school polo shirts end of July. Tried to call the week schools started back as emailed with no reply, phone constantly engaged so I drove over one day to be told order will definitely be sent out week later, surprise surprise never received have called every single week to be told yeah will be sent out! Eventually requested a refund as that's been almost 12 weeks since placing my order! Told refund has been sent but if any problems contact my bank...... called again spoke with the lady on Monday (she is just as bad as the owner telling you lies) said she would get him to call me URGENTLY now Friday no phone call! Have had to phone my bank to raise a dispute for a refund! Please avoid the lower prices here and save yourself the hassle, stress and anxiety! Have reported them to Trading Standards as this is just unacceptable in so many ways! Wish I had read all the reviews before placing an order and saving myself the high blood pressure! The place should be shut down!

Ordered schoolwear , didn’t arrive , promised a refund eventually. It didn’t appear. My bank has returned funds and investigating this company.

These people took my money and did not send the schoolwear. Over 2 months later after several emails asking for a refund they responded and said they would process that. Several weeks later I am still waiting for a refund and getting no response at all. Do not order from here. Avoid like the plague.

AWFUL! Ordered school jumpers mid July. Multiple (unanswered) phone calls, emails, NOTHING! Finally spoke to someone and asked for a refund. And guess what…NOTHING!! Avoid at all costs.

Money stealer order kids uniform 1months ago ad no uniforms no money back. Plus ignore us not responding for messages

Took over a month and several emails to receive the items I ordered. They only arrived after I said I'd be making a fraud report. Terrible customer service and communication, shoddy business practices. Never using Set Schoolwear again.

Placed an order more than 2 weeks ago and still haven't received the item.

Update: They just need a reminder call sometimes!

Similar to other reviews, placed an order on 30th July and have still not received anything. Emailed on numerous occasions and had no response. Tried phoning but phone is constantly engaged or just rings out. Would definitely not recommend this company, absolutely shocking they take your money but cannot provide your order.

They get one star because I can’t give them zero.

Placed order 1st July and was told it would be 3 weeks or less. I emailed to chase up on 29th July to be told “we will have the uniform ready in time for nursery”, my son goes to nursery all year round so this is irrelevant.

Then I got a phone call from the manager who just shouted down the phone that it was a busy time and how good the quality of the clothes are, again irrelevant to the fact they promise a timescale but never keep to it.

He then confirmed I would receive the items by Friday 12th August. It’s now Wednesday 17th August, no items and no response.

I’ll be speaking to the nursery to request they use a different supplier.

Would give it a minus if I could
Placed an order with them 23rd June for school blazer and was informed it would take 1/3 weeks contacted them after 3 weeks to be told it’s away to the embroiders and I will have it in time for school starting. I telephoned them again start of August assured I would reviewed the blazer as it was still at the embroiders. Emailed them again with no reply so I turned up at the shop in Paisley to absolute chaos of other parents not receiving their order. I spoke with the manager who just turned around and said I will have to give you a refund I told him that they should have told me weeks ago that they didn’t have my order and I could have went elsewhere, such a badly run business and a manger who hasn’t got a clue what he’s doing. Would never ever recommend them to anybody!!

I have used this shop on various accounts over the last 15years and there has always been issues!
Ordered 30th June for uniform to be posted, told upto 3 weeks to receive order which never arrived. Emailed on week 4, response was it would be dispatched by end of the week! End of week 5 emailed again to be told it wold be poster following Tuesday or someone could collect. None of the order fits and today was told it would be at least 3 weeks to order size because they have nothing in stock!
This owner has very poor customer service and a very bad attitude towards customers.
No school should be using this shop as their supplier, yes its cheep but I would rather pay extra for a half decent customer service and for a company who can meet demands of orders on time.
Every person in the shop today had some sort of complaint to make about their order!

Dreadful Experience. Many other similar complaints.
Set Schoolwear / Schoolwear Scotland needs to be taken off St. James Renfrew uniform supplier list.
Additionally, they should not be allowed to advertise at the school, so many parents and children disappointed.
Ordered 6 July, they have now missed 4 delivery dates for our child's Blazer, and are still not sure when it will arrive.
School starts in 2 days.

Same as every other comment I ordered 7 weeks ago with no order received. I asked for a refund 2 days ago I don't know why I thought they would give it but they have now blocked me from contacting them at all. Absolite riot & this was recommended as a supplier by the school. NEVER AGAIN? The owners of this shop should actually be so ashamed of themselves .. saying they "pride themselves in providing affordable quality schoolwear to parents" absolute pish u are dirty wrong yins

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY! I wish I had read the online reviews and newspaper articles about this company and its owner. I ordered school uniforms previously and they were exceptionally slow. It gets worse - I purposely ordered very early this time. I placed my order before end of May and began chasing after 6 weeks. Every time the owner said my order would be posted in 3-4 days. Still nothing and schools go back next week! They are now no longer even answering the phone. Other reviews also saying they now never answer the phone. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY
