I love doing this project with my class.

My experience was top notch because School Mate Publishing makes creating the book easy. From being able to print the number of pages you need and submitting electronically, the ease of creating this book is really beneficial.

I have gone to School Mate Publishing for many years. They make great quality books, that will be wonderful keepsakes for our students! I always appreciate how quickly they get things done, and their kits are super easy to follow.

It's a great project for classrooms that can be done every year, whether it's the same book topic or something different. I've done a book for several years and only skipped last year due to my classroom roster, which would've been very difficult to accomplish. Other that that, the process is teacher friendly and the kids love learning about writing and illustrating a book. It actually ties into one of our reading lessons in 3rd grade, where the story is about authors and illustrators. The company is great to work with and the turnaround time for getting the books back isn't very long. The hardback books are great quality and worth the cost. The families really enjoy them and I have parents that tell me they still have all the books their other children have done. I will continue doing a book with my class each year that I can.

The whole experience was easy to use, and fun for the students. I recommend this.

It was easy enough to explain and the turnaround was faster than expected.

The process was easy for the most part. I did have to resubmit pages to add pictures...they couldn't just be clipped on the page. I had to adhere them where I wanted them to be.

The books were very easy to put together and order.
The parent order form was so nice.

This was a great experience for the kids. They especially loved seeing the book once it arrived! Communication with the publishing company was also great.
