After repeated and useless chats with Lufthansa chat bot, calls and being told my case was being looked into - then months of silence from Lufthansa, I raised this with SRV. Provided the information requested - details of which are on the booking anyway. Within a three weeks I got confirmation that I would receive the compensation and also the hotel cost would be refunded. It is sad that an airline like Lufthansa deliberately ignore such submissions and only respond when this organisation raises it with them.

We have been helped by SRUV twice now, once squeezing compensation out of Lufthansa and once with extracting compensation from their budget operation, Eurowings.
