The customer service for this company is nonexistent. I would never recommend buying from them directly. The only way I would buy Scarlet Darkness clothing would be from Amazon, because you can return it if you’re not satisfied with the quality or the fit.

I have ordered from Scarlet Darkness a few times now and have had a perfect experience each time. My order arrives on time (a few weeks), the product is accurate to the descriptions on the website, the size chart is both helpful and accurate... I can't say enough good things about the products. If you are worried that the price won't match the quality of the products you want to purchase I would say don't be. Well worth the price. Scarlet Darkness is not one of those stores where the first time you put on an article of clothing it breaks. Everything from the dresses to the corsets is made from good quality material and made sturdy. I absolutely love them and want to purchase more from Scarlet Darkness in the future. I recommend this store to literally everyone I come across and am now recommending it to you Dear Reader.

I ordered twice from them from Germany.
The first time worked flawlessly, everything fit amazingly, overall okay quality (some of the dresses feel a little like plastic, but they communicate openly that they're made out of polyester, so you know what you're buying). The corsets fit amazing, I was looking for something for a bigger bust that doesn't give the pigeon silhouette that only works on smaller chest - and they delivered.
The second time it arrived quickly, but the order was messed up, stuff missing, partly wrong stuff. But the support was quick to help, even offering me a free item in compensation.
So over all, good experience :)

After over a year I still have not received my order. Requested my money back over 8 months ago and never got a respons, sent another email recently but still no respons. Stay away! This is a scam company.

I did not purchase their products through their website, I went through Amazon. That meant I got them quite quickly.

I've purchased two dresses, and a Renaissance style wide belt. The clothing has been very well-made, fabrics have been good. For me the sizing seems a little bit big, but I've only had three items to gauge that from so I don't know if it's consistent all the way across.

The clothing is highly appealing to me, and I firmly believe I will be purchasing more. There have been a lot of compliments on these outfits and I have sent people to where I've purchased them from so they can get their own.

This company is a SCAM!!! I purchased two items from them and after 30 days, I still had not received any shipping info. I contacted customer service and they responded TWO WEEKS LATER saying my items are “still being handcrafted and would arrive at their warehouse within two weeks and then would be shipped to me.” Their website promised 10-20 shipping, and by that point we were going over 40 days before the items ever even shipped. Mind you, they did not reach out with this update - I had to first contact them asking where my items were before they ever bothered to update me.

I responded saying at that point my event would be over and I wouldn’t need the items anymore. I referenced their cancellation policy which stated that they could cancel orders that had not yet been shipped. They took another TWO WEEKS to respond to me, saying some copy/paste message like “Hello customer! Great news! Your items have been shipped and we have expedited the shipping to ensure you receive them on time!” They completely ignored my request to cancel. When I followed up again asking why they disregarded my request, they responded with another vague email offering me 25% off my next purchase. As if I would EVER buy from them again.

A month later and the items have still not arrived. I’ve followed up 3 more times and they’ve sent the EXACT same copy/paste scripted email every time and have not helped me at all. I’ve now had to escalate the issue with my bank to help me with a refund of my money.

Also- they emailed me saying that “if I recieve the items and dislike them, I can send them to the return address.” But they never provided a return address and their website says that to receive instructions on returns, to email their customer service email for the address and policy. So clearly they just run you around in circles forever, steal your money, and never send you anything.

Lastly, their website talks about how their clothes are ethically made and hand crafted. Well I ended up buying one thing off their Amazon instead - thank goodness it actually arrived - and it’s just drop shipped acrylic fabric made in china (literally says it on the tag) so this company is a total scam and lie. Do NOT buy from them or waste your money and time on dealing with this scam of a business. I wish I’d never purchased from them.

This is the most unethical company that I have ever dealt with. I ordered a corset for Halloween with the promise that I would receive the item within 10-20 days of placing my order. I tried to cancel my order before receiving notice of shipment because I had a gut feeling that I would not receive my item in time. I sent an email (have record of it) to cancel my order. They took days to respond just to tell me that my order had shipped. It just happened to ship in the days after I sent the email but before they had the ability to respond. I then asked for a refund via email (because you can't speak with a person on the phone). They told me that they would try to intercept the package. I asked what this meant and didn't receive a reply. I didn't even expect to receive my order. It FINALLY came two weeks late (past their promised time of 10-20 days). I asked for a refund yet again and they told me that I would have to pay fees to return it or they can give me 10% of my $ back. The messages are automated and never addressed my specific issue. They failed to cancel the order before shipment and then they failed to deliver the item on time. They are outright ignoring my request for a full refund without having to send the item back. I don't feel that I should have to pay for this item when they failed on their end multiple times. They manipulated the situation with their delayed responses & I feel that they have scammed me.

Items are nice. It took longer than expected, but they did respond to my requests and offered solutions.

Very nice options on everything! Tho I would wish for more corsett options for people (like me) who want a thight corset, something like where you can adjust the thightness an kinda fell 'locked in' like the very old days xD
Shipping takes a while - relatable since I'm from europe. I never recieved an email about when my order is shipped, only the summary and when my parcel is soon delivered.

It's the first time in a long time I have found a dress that fits me and looks good on me.

There were a few issues with the timely dispatch of the items, the availability of one item, and a misunderstanding, as I wanted to cancel/exchange an item before the items were shipped. Communication was also somewhat difficult. However, the staff made every effort to resolve the issues, and I ultimately received a small gift as compensation.
Anyone ordering here should be prepared for longer waiting times, as the staff seem to be understaffed for the number of orders, but they do their best.

I ordered about five items that I love, the clothes are good quality and we're perfect for my event. The items arrived within the 20 day expected shipping date. I did have some shipping issues with USPS but I sent an email to customer support and they replied swiftly and were very helpful! Overall, I'm very pleased and plan to order from them again soon!

I had an issue with my order, and they emailed me and took care of it quickly. I needed my items by an event and they expedited the shipping to make sure it would arrive. I had a great experience.

Edit: I spent over $600 at this company. They only sent part of my order and refused to work with me for a refund on the missing items. I filed a PayPal dispute and got a refund for the entire order despite receiving some items, which I kept. I encourage anyone else to take advantage of this POS company.

Ordered a LOT of items and after 20 days my order showed up missing 5 items. Not only that, but I wasn’t happy with all of the items that did show up and wished to make some returns. I Contacted customer service and waited 4 days for a response letting me know that 2 of the items I ordered were out of stock, and offered me to pick other items in their place. Not only did they say NOTHING about the missing items or offer to refund me, but they also didn’t address that I wanted to return some items at all. I was skeptical about ordering from them, but went against my better judgment. This company is a rip off and they aren’t true to their claims of “being committed to making sure you love your order”, those claims are utter crap. Looks like I am going to have to file a dispute with PayPal.

My clothes came promptly and were exactly as described! They were also surprisingly good quality for the price! I’m really excited to start styling them.

It took over a week for support to return to my mail.
The clothes I ordered ending up being way to big. I asked if I could return it, but were told I had to pay for the shipment myself. As it is to another continent, that would have been too expensive to make sense. I ended up getting 15% back and were told to consider selling it or gifting it - which I did end up doing, but I wish return would have been an option instead. If I decide to order again, I will size down and only order for what I can afford to 'loose' in case it does not fit me. I have ended up liking one of my items, as it is an accessory.

Great clothing! Everything is well made. Materials and pattern match description. The ONLY issue I have is that some items are sent much later than others, if doing a large purchase, and I've received items months apart. Luckily, I didn't need any of the pieces ASAP.
Again, the clothing I've purchased has matched the photo and the description. And I love the clothes! The only accessory I have purchased from them is a belt and that matched the photo and description as well. Great stuff, just might take about 2 months to get some of it.

This company is a joke. Their clothing is cheap and poorly constructed. I measured and ordered based off their chart and the items I purchased were ridiculously small, took forever to arrive, and were basically garbage. I contacted the company for a refund (which took 5 days for a response!) and was told that due to tariffs it would be too expensive to ship back so I should keep it and just get a 10% refund. That is literally $5 on a $50 item that DID NOT FIT. They say on their site they are happy to accept returns and provide refunds and that is a LIE. I have filed a fraud claim with my bank and am currently fighting to get my refund back. DO NOT ORDER HERE.

I’m really sorry to the people who have had bad experiences. Maybe they’ve changed overtime, but I’ve had nothing but a great experience shopping from Scarlett darkness. I initially needed to return some thing, but when it arrived, I fell in love with the clothes. They fit perfectly and are exactly as described. I would definitely shop from them again, should I need something else. Customer service was really responsive and helpful.
