Casio G-Shock 5600 Solar
Absolutely EXCELLENT experience with Scarce&Co (so far! fingers crossed..)
I've got a couple of watches -- one high maintenance middle end Swiss chronograph, and a techy smart watch GPS doo-dad with a million settings and a proprietary charging connection that i keep on losing. i felt it was time for me to find a daily driver that was inexpensive, simple, yet had the basic functions i needed, and of course would be durable.
Came across the Casio 5600 series of watches, and the huge fan base / community surrounding these, learned of their heritage, their simple yet functional MO, and had to have one.
Started searching for local resellers. Came across the equally huge number of online sellers who, when i dug deeper, seem to be grey market sellers / lots of bad reviews and dodgy, chop-shop mix-n-matched components items (hence the ridiculously low prices you see on some of the other Australian reseller websites).
Scarce seemed to have good reviews, and given the cost of the watch that i settled on, i figured it would be worth a gamble.
VERY happy with everything -- shipping was super quick, i got free express shipping DESPITE also being availed of a discount, the item cam in an original tin with warranty card, instruction manual, tags, other paperwork etc -- i've had G-Shocks as a kid (must've got 5 or 6 from Changi airport over the years), and as far as i can tell, this guy is genuine.
I've only had it for a few days so time will tell, but everything about my experience with Scarce&Co has been super positive, I would definitely recommend this seller!
