Review of Scaler Course
The fees is really on the higher side. If you already have a very strong back. You can check out the trial period. And then decide. Otherwise strong your will power and learn this from youtube. For me the experience is not that good. That's my opinion.
Dark side of Scaler
If you’re evaluating the Scaler app or considering Scaler Academy after seeing ads or videos—be warned. Course access is tied to expensive contracts and loan arrangements, not real support or career advancement. In my case, even major health and life changes weren’t enough for Scaler to offer reasonable help. It’s just a business: once they have your money, you’re no longer a priority. Many other platforms offer high-quality content without the headaches or the exploitative payment plans.
The worst part is how they manipulate students’ hopes and career aspirations. They create a false sense of urgency and sell dreams that rarely materialize. Once you’ve paid, the support drastically drops. Refunds? Forget about it — they hide behind convoluted policies that make it nearly impossible to get your money back.
In my opinion, Scaler preys on the desperation and ambition of learners trying to build a better future. It’s more of a business scheme than a genuine educational platform. If you’re considering joining Scaler, I’d strongly urge you to research thoroughly and explore more reputable, value-driven alternatives before investing your hard-earned money

Big no to scaler
If you’re thinking of joining Scaler, ask yourself:
Do you want to pay ₹3-4 lakh for content that’s 95% free online + mentors who treat you like a checklist item?
Because that’s exactly what you’ll get.
@Scaler my registered email address is Sabrar13 at yahoo.com
* I opted for 1 year course, and I don't have tech background which was informed to you guys at the time of joining still you guys conducted some test and said that you would be able to complete this course without any Hussle. Course amount was 3.14 I paid 20K cash and for rest of amount I took loan from NBFC with EMI of 12K per month for 2 years.
* Scaler conducts 3 classes a week first 2 weeks were simple even teacher was nice, but this course started getting worst and teacher is kind of reading script and solving problem online (many times even teachers were getting confused) since we were not allowed to ask questions in between the class. they had QnA session for 15min after the class.
* I took multiple pause and reset of course due to personal emergency and still wasn't able to understand the course.
* I made some story to get refund for what I paid since I only attended class for 3 -4 months and I was offered refund on prorate based.
* They must have calculated classed that I attended I figured out that they have to pay a lot and ended up cancelling upcoming 6 EMI which was around 72K.
*Imagine paying 2.42 and learning nothing so save your money and don't go for it. Please feel to connect with me on given email address if you've any query.
* Scaler gives 500rs voucher for positive review still they're trading somewhere around 3* so imagine.
Nice courses
Good place to learn about Data Science and related tech stacks. Teachers have good experience in working and teaching in the particular domains.
Honest Scaler review
What I like about Scaler is about their curriculum it's great but sometime it lacked mentoring.
Scaler Academy Review — Excellent Learning Journey
completed the DevOps, Python, DSA, Linux, and Advanced DSA programs at Scaler Academy, along with multiple practical projects. My overall learning experience was excellent.
The course structure is well-designed and focuses on building strong fundamentals as well as practical skills. The instructors and mentors explained concepts clearly and supported us throughout the program. The DSA training helped me greatly enhance my problem-solving approach, and the DevOps and Linux modules provided real industry-level exposure.
The hands-on projects were one of the most valuable aspects of the program. They helped me apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios and boosted my confidence. The doubt-resolution system, peer community, and career-oriented support were also very effective.
Scaler not only strengthened my technical abilities but also helped me with interview preparation and career guidance. Overall, the program has had a highly positive impact on my career growth.
I would strongly recommend Scaler Academy to learners who want structured learning, practice-oriented training, and strong mentorshi
I had a great experience with Scaler
I had a great experience with Scaler, their structured curriculum, detailed teaching, instructors who made hard problems easier through the story telling method and TAs and mentors to unblock with doubt resolution and career guidance was completely worthy. I was able to get 30+ lpa which made my investment worthful.
Worst experience with Scaler
My experience with Scaler has been extremely disappointing, and I genuinely regret joining.
For me, the course turned out to be a major waste of time, energy, and money. The content felt poorly structured, the projects didn’t add any real value, and nothing matched the promises made during enrollment. It felt like heavy marketing with very little actual learning.
They charge a very high fee for material that, in my experience, didn’t justify even a fraction of the cost. With the same amount of money, you can pursue a proper degree or a credible course elsewhere and actually learn something meaningful.
What bothered me even more was the push for online promotion. I was encouraged to post about the course on LinkedIn for ₹1000, which I felt was an unethical attempt to make the program look better than it is.
The program advisor who convinced me to join made several assurances that turned out to be false. After I enrolled, he left the company, and Scaler took no responsibility for the misleading information he provided.
I’ve tried contacting their support team multiple times over the past few months, but responses have been slow or nonexistent. In my experience, there was no professionalism, accountability, or respect for the money and time of learners.
Overall, Scaler felt more like a marketing-driven trap than an educational platform. They highlight career success stories and guarantees, but once you’ve paid, you’re largely left on your own. I truly regret investing my hard-earned money here.
This is my personal experience, and I hope it helps others make a more informed decision. I would strongly advise doing thorough research before considering Scaler.
MS in Scaler Academy (Java and AI/ML)
My experience pursuing an MS in Java & AI/ML at Scaler Academy, in collaboration with the University of Bath, has been overwhelmingly positive and exceptionally well-aligned with current industry demands. The curriculum is robust, and the mentors and lecturers are deeply knowledgeable, consistently connecting complex concepts to real-world scenarios with detailed examples during the online sessions. This practical approach ensures that the material is not just theoretical but immediately applicable. The program's focus on career readiness is evident through its practical components. The online contests were excellent preparation for the pressures of technical interviews, while the mock interviews provided invaluable, direct feedback, which was crucial for understanding my strengths and identifying knowledge gaps. The key to maximizing the value of this course, however, lies in the dedicated project modules. I found that committing to building a small but detailed, real-world project was the most critical step in cementing the knowledge gained. Fully utilizing this opportunity is essential for translating the academic learning into tangible experience and successfully preparing for the hard requirements of the job market.
Very experienced teachers
Very experienced teachers , best at explaining data science according to me it would not have been any better than this.. also i got my 3rd job recently through scaler😎😇..
Structured Program, Requires Commitment
I am currently enrolled in Scaler Academy, and so far, the learning experience has been quite positive. The curriculum is structured in a way that makes complex topics easier to understand. The classes and problem-solving sessions have helped me strengthen my fundamentals and stay consistent with practice.
The mentorship and doubt support have been helpful whenever I reached out, and the platform provides a good amount of material for practice. Overall, I am satisfied with the quality of learning I have received until now, and I am looking forward to completing the program and seeing how the remaining phases unfold.

Well balanced, Thought-out Curriculum!
The lesson plan is impressive. It's thoroughly planned, beautifully executed.
Some tutors are great, some are there just by virtue of their command of the subject. Overall, the team is well-balanced.
Since I did not opt for a placement, it is not my place to comment on it, but most of my peers were not impressed by the promises made that were never delivered.
Great platform to upskill and grow, but success depends on your effort
Scaler has been a really good experience for me and I would say it is best suited for people who already have at least three years of experience in the IT field. If you are in that category and stay consistent, you can start seeing amazing opportunities within eight to nine months. For those with zero experience or a long career gap, it can be a bit challenging in the current market, so you will need to have patience and a strong never give up attitude. I have met people who have given up in the middle of the course because of various reasons, and I have also met people who got placed lightning fast. Overall, my experience has been above average. I came from a non tech background, so it was a bit more challenging for me to get placed into a product based company. Scaler provides good placement support, regular contests, AI based mock interviews, and a helpful learners community that keeps you engaged and motivated throughout the journey. Before joining, it is important to evaluate yourself and be sure about your career goals. There is no guaranteed placement or tie up with hundreds of companies as some marketing might suggest, but Scaler provides frequent interview opportunities which you can convert with your own hard work and knowledge. Overall, it is an excellent platform to upskill, build confidence, and prepare yourself for better career opportunities. If you stay consistent and keep learning, you will definitely see great results.
