TORN filter problem is fixed!
At first the product I received was Great! The pods worked well and the filters didn't break. Then, came the next set of filters and I lost a lot of coffee trying to figure out what combination of coffee grinds and fluid would get through my Keurig. Finally, I contacted support at "hey at savepods.com" and reached Daniel Webb. He has been GREAT! He responded quickly and let me know they ran into an issue with the supplier and basically had several batches of poor filter. So I had not been doing something wrong! Daniel said they were in the process of fixing the issue with the supplier and would have some filters available in a couple of weeks. Well, it took a bit longer than that, and I understand that being in product development and manufacturing, but when an initial batch of filters came available, Daniel reached back out ask said he would send me 50 filters. I thanked him and told them I would give feedback. Well 50 out of 50 filters worked! Problem solved! I have asked Daniel when the new filters would be on the market and how I can tell the new ones from the old ones. They are working on that now, but in the meantime I was able to order 200 from them today and look forward to getting my savepod back as my main source of coffee in the morning.
Issues happen, and at least from my experience, Savepods has done a good job remedying the issues with the filters -- communications could have better, as I had to inquire about a follow-up multiple times, but I am also sure that they were getting a lot of complaints and its hard to address all of them while you are trying to fix the problems.
Overall, I love the product and what it stands for, and I wish Savepods continued success!
