Sauder products are garbage. Cheap presswood and low-quality paper-thin laminates. The result is ridiculously heavy yet flimsy replicas that look great in photos but don't stand up to real use - doors... See more

OUTSTANDING for DIY Furniture
I have ordered several pieces now from Sauder, a made in America company (Ohio). I have found their DIY furniture to be FAR superior to any of the other particle board or "composit" wood furniture. The pieces I bought of their Barrister Lane collection are actually stylish, very sturdy, and come extremely well packed to avoid damage... very impressive packing ! And, as hard as it is to believe, their items do not have that strong objectionable smell of most DIY furniture ! ! Also a surprise, their support representatives are very accessible, speak fluent English, and are even PLEASANT and friendly... NO ROBOT like talk as if they have shut off the audio while you explain why you called, and then just reading from a script of some kind that has nothing to do with the question you asked, just pick a from a list of ten answers no matter what the question .... the business model of so many these days !
Rare to have a person who seems so
"human" for sure !
