Absolutely awful customer service. Their priority is not problem solving, but in turn creating awkward situations and not being flexible or understanding.
Also it's so incredibly expensive and overpriced, but sadly it's one of the only real options for renting second hand in Stockholm. I dream of the day when I do not have to ever use Samtrygg ever again.

Just signed a lease contract. Process was fine. I wish there was more support for non-Swedish speakers especially around the contract. We had a phone call with an employee but she struggled to explain things or gave vague answers. Too many pushes and emails create fatigue…

15% rent markup is ridiculous for any service, and this service in particular is inferior than the two leading ones, Facebook marketplace and Blocket Bostad.
Found several possible tenants thanks to the latter two. Samtrygg on the other hand removed my ad when I refused to decrease the rent by 35%.
The service itself is mostly fine, but unfortunately they compress the images so that you get that nostalgic 240p youtube video feel. Might explain the low interest on my ad 😂

Samstrygg is good ONLY for the property owners to secure payment; there is no other benefit at all. It is a really high fee for the renting side without ANY benefit at all. I tried several times to ask for support without any response.

Simply a bad service. Talked to someone who was reading from a script and not listning at all.
The wanted to price the rental 40% below market price and would not provide support if I didn't agree to the price.

My girlfriend and I moved into an apartment with Samtrygg and found it dirty and infested with bugs. Samtrygg did so little to help with this, even though their cleaning crew supposedly came to clean it. They offered to send another cleaning crew but told us that sorting out the bugs was ours and the landlords responsibility. We did not move in because of the bugs but they still refused to give us any money back, even though we paid 20,000sek for the month. So they got a nice amount of money for nothing. You pay such a high fee per month to them and they do nothing.

Samtrygg are fine when everything is going right with the apartment but as soon as something goes wrong they are useless and do not help at all, despite paying them such a huge sum of money each month. We moved into an apartment that had been cleaned by their cleaning crew but it was filthy and there were lots of bugs. We did not want to move in because there were so many bugs, but all they offered was to send another cleaning crew, despite us having paid the months rent already. They told us there was no way for us to get any money back despite the fact that they should have cleaned it and it was inhospitable. FYI this cleaning crew that they employ costs 2000-4000sek per visit, which it is the responsibility of the tenant to pay. They were also still going to make us pay for these cleaning costs when we moved out of the dirty apartment.

Landlord has entered into the rented house during absence of tenant and hosted a party.
When reached out to Samtrygg regarding this security breach they are telling it's legal issue tenant has to file a police case and battle legally.
Don't blindly believe Samtrygg do your own enquiry about Landlord before signing the contract.

It is very practical to have a intermediary company between landlord and tenant, also to assess in all practicalities. The reason why I dont rate 5 stars is that it takes time to get an answer and many topics I ask I get the answer to contact the landlord directly so sometimes it feels like is a partial and basic service with a high fee

Run away….
I am renting my home with this agency. You pay 20 % extra fees per month for nothing. When you contact them for an issue they just inform the landlord and they do nothing….just forward the reply. They say « we can’t judge » even when you give a proof that there’s a danger for your health. So they just rent a house which is inusable. Nobody ever shown off to see how big the issue is
