Sambanis.Art - Custom oil portrait from photo Reviews

Commissioned three paintings of our family and and my dearly departed father. I was able to easily communicate where I wanted changes in the work, as well as style. And the results are gorgeous. I can’t wait to give them as gifts for my mums 70th.

The painting was absolutely incredible, I could not have asked for a better gift. It looks exactly like the photo and my friend was so happy with it!

Beautiful work, easy to communicate with.

I ordered a custom oil painting through Alexandr at Sambanis art as a wedding gift to my now Husband. Alexandr was fanstastic from first enquiry until after i had received my oil painting. He helped me choose which photo to use, he recommended a size which was within my budget, he presented a layout and also sent an image of the painting mid way through for peace of mind. Both myself and my Husband are in awe at the quality of the painting. The detail is incredible and has really brought an old photograph to life. Alexandr was in touch regularly with updates on the progress and shipping of the painting, Alexandr reassured me each step of the way. Cannot recommend Alexandr's work enough, we are so thankful for the amazing art he has produced and delivered to us. Thank you!

Aleksander was wonderful to work with. He sent photos of his progress throughout the process. I initially bought the painting as a gift for my sister (who LOVED it, by the way), but I was so impressed that I decided to buy a second one for myself.

I commissioned a hand painted oil portrait of my girlfriend from Aleksandr, for her birthday. Both she and I are very happy with the quality of the artist's work. The portrait met my expectations, it is a beautiful work of art. Communications with Aleksandr were very fluid and productive, he always responds right away to any requests or questions.

Speechless. Aleksandr created this portrait of my best friend’s baby who passed away from a heart condition and he went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect. Communication was great, and I will def be using his services again ! I HIGHLY recommend Aleksandr !

I recently received a custom painting from Sambanis, and I couldn't be happier with the result. The level of imagination and attention to detail that went into creating this piece was truly impressive. I highly recommend Sambanis for anyone looking for high-quality custom artwork.

Aleksandr's unparalleled skill as an oil painter is nothing short of awe-inspiring. Having ordered from him five times now, I can confidently say that he consistently surpasses my expectations with each stroke of his brush. His remarkable talent for perfecting every detail of a painting is truly remarkable. In fact, he managed to breathe new life into a decades-old photograph of my great grandfather from the 1970s, transforming it into a stunning masterpiece that my grandmother could not have been more pleased with. She amazed at how Aleksandr was able to expertly fix and colorize the image, resulting in a lifelike likeness of her father. Aleksandr's unwavering commitment to excellence guarantees that he will never disappoint, and his artwork is sure to leave you speechless. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.

The paintings were for my wife's 40th birthday - to capture some special moments in time with her and our family. The process of the painting was easy and straight forward - submit a few photos, allow Aleksandr to sketch them, give me the opportunity to provide feedback... he then started the painting process of which he shared photos the work-in-progress, which allowed for me to make comments. We repeated this process a few times until the paintings were complete. They arrived via UPS in perfect condition and now have them hanging in our house!

Kate and Aleksandr were amazing! They did a portrait of my late grandfather and it was stunning. They got every detail of the painting. In complete awe of their skill set. Also turnaround time was very quick. They completed the painting in less 2 weeks and shipping also took about a week. Very happy with their work and 100% recommend them to anyone

Aleksandr was an exceptional seller and artist to work with. He was very communicative and great to make my idea come to life. His work is exactly what I wanted, which is exceptional. Thank you

Aleksandr was communicative and helpful in the process, and the painting came out perfectly! I sent in 3 photos for the painting, and they were merged just right to capture my grandparents' faces and emotions from their wedding day. My family and I love it, and we're so pleased with how it turned out. It took about 2 months for it to arrive from the time I input the order, and considering the quality and how far it came (it shipped from Ukraine), that was very impressive.

My husband and I are so thrilled with our custom painting. Such talent and thought went into each of our family images. I am very impressed with Aleksandr. We had the best time throughout the process, thank you!
Our family loved the final portrait. Great memory of us all at the beach!

Aleksandr does beautiful work and communicated with me during the whole process of painting a picture for me. It was a special picture of my daughter on a trip she took. From the very beginning during planning which included customizing it by removing something from the picture to the end with frames. He captured all the small details that make it so great. I highly recommend him and would definitely use him again in the future.

The painting was exactly what I asked for and he went above and beyond to ensure the painting was perfect. During the painting process I was updated as the painting was being made. I requested for a small adjustment after the final product and it was promptly taken care of. If I had to get another oil painting made I would go with this artist again!

Captured the image I wanted perfectly. Shipping is from Ukraine so if you want item on specific date specify if that can be arranged. Great artist!

Wonderful experience and beautiful painting! Aleksandr is great!

I commissioned a painting of my wife and her 3 dogs renaissance style and it looks amazing. Aleksandr (Sambanis Art) is a very talented artist and he’s worth every penny.

Alexsandr was amazing throughout the whole process! My painting turned out so beautifully, the attention to detail and likeness is just superb. I highly recommend and I will be commissioning another piece soon.
