I had used them for the last 3 years

I had used them for the last 3 years,
About a year now, the customer care, has been disappointing.
I sent my boxes on the 9th of January 2026.
The lady at the London reception is very rude in her tone, asked me "who told you it 6 weeks". Shows she hasn't even read their website.
Unprofessional and uncouth.
I have 5 days to leave Ghana, but nothing has arrived, the funeral is over. the staff at Ghana are worse.
I rest my case. To everyone I had referred, a big sorry.
NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I'll think twice before refer

I have been a customer for Samamiah (Shipping) Enterprise for a very long time.
Their London staff are so polite friendly efficient and extremely helpful
I have never dealt with the Ghana staff until today. I made a phone call regarding my package sent on the 7/11/2025. This person I spoke to told me my package has arrived at the port so I asked her to give me an idea of how long it would take for me to get my package.
In my opinion I find her answer very insulting and rude. How can you tell a customer "I don't have any idea I'm a secretary not a shipping agent"!
I think the management should find someone who can answer questions like mine and get a better answer not someone who is going to upset customers.
I will think twice before I refer anyone unfortunately. I don't want anyone to go through my experience

Probably the worst door to door shipping company currently in the UK

Please avoid this company for your own peace of mind, I would have given - 10 if possible . Not sure what has gone wrong recently but it has, very badly. A sinking ship, they used to be a very reliable company, I have used their for door to door shipping for the past 10 plus years. Never had an issue until the last several months. I have sent various fragile items including toilets and tiles, delivered with no scratch in the past. However, in the last 4 months they have cositently delivered in 9 weeks( 6 to 7 weeks on their website is dishonest so don't factor that into your plans) . They have also broken many of my itens~ 4 boxes of tiles out of 10, wc cistern, and even toilet seats have been broken in the last 6 months. As things started going wrong they gave themselves immunity through a disclaimer that said they are not responsible for items broken and the breakages have since skyrocketed.
Please note that this is my personal experiene and I will not be using them ever again. I'm off to find a better and reliable doot to door company.

Unfit for Customers, Unfit for Business

Find any other company but this one as they'll try charge you extra if you have no clue how shipping and transport works. They stated a time to pick up the goods and was over 2hrs late, That old man tried to compare this company to Amazon in terms of how things run and if that was the case they would of compensate for the lateness. DO NOT give this company your money, they don't deserve to continue operating. Very unprofessional. If you want to be overly charged and talked to like they're doing you a favour and not a service then that's up to you.

Contacted this company on 3 occasions…

Contacted this company on 3 occasions to discuss the shipment of some goods. On each occasion I was met with a woman on the phone. Each successive time I called I prayed it would not be her answering. This is because she had the most bored disinterested voice and attitude I have ever encountered. It was painful to have to speak to her. Any questions were met with a curt, dry response, and zero human warmth and empathy. I was so discouraged I vowed never to call this company again, and never did. I am amazed any company would employ such a bland customer-unfriendly person to front their business. She's driving business away from you guys, act now!!

6-8 weeks for door to door!

6 weeks on, no delivery. Just being told their DELIVERY IS NOW 6 to 8 WEEKS!!!!. Ship has been in Ghana for 4 weeks but they still can’t advise when to expect delivery.
This company is neither reliable nor honest!

8 weeks on and still no delivery. Lies, lies, lies ..that’s all you get off them
If you want your stuff delivered promptly, this is not the company for you !

This shipping company really needs to do better

I am extremely disappointed with this shipping company. My package arrived with significant damage to the contents, and it was clear that the item had not been handled with care. When I reached out to customer service (Vera), all I got was lies for a whole week she would lie about calling me back but never did she was unresponsive and failed to offer any real help or compensation for the damaged goods. This was a completely frustrating experience, and I would strongly advise against using this shipping service if you want to ensure your items arrive in one piece.
I had a truly awful experience with this shipping company, and the customer service was the worst part of it all.

Poor delivery service

The items were scheduled for delivery before Christmas 2024, yet as of January 13, 2025, they have not been delivered. I have been calling the UK office daily to track my shipment, and they continuously tell me they cannot reach the Ghana manager, promising to call me back, but they never do. The Ghana office frequently provides misleading information, stating that the goods are in the van with the driver and will be delivered when it’s our turn. This level of service is unacceptable. I strongly urge others to avoid using their services, as they are unreliable, and the Ghana team is particularly unprofessional.

The company is careless and…

The company is careless and irresponsible for fragile items like television . My television was delivered to Ghana broken and they took the item back to their warehouse. Since They then they have refused reimburse me about and the cost of the television, and the managers are inaccessible. Customer care doesn't exist and they leave you helpless and unsupported.

I strongly advise against using this…


I strongly advise against using this shipping company due to their lack of insurance coverage. I have experienced broken and stolen items, and the customer service is extremely poor, especially in Ghana. Managers do not return calls as promised. It has been three months since I shipped my items, and I have yet to receive my soundbar, Bose speakers, glass table, parasol, or 55-inch TV. Upon speaking with the manager in the UK, I was informed that the company does not provide insurance and that customers are expected to insure their own goods—information that was not disclosed to us prior to shipping.

Poor Customer Service Experience in…

Poor Customer Service Experience in Ghana.

I recently had the displeasure of experiencing subpar customer service from the Ghana branch of Samaiah shipping company during a recent international shipment.

This is all despite being a repeat customer over the years.

While the service received in the UK was exemplary, my experience with the company's customer service team in Ghana, particularly with Vivienne, was nothing short of disappointing.

Vivienne’s demeanour was extremely rude, unprofessional, and uncouth during our telephone interactions. Not only did she fail to address my concerns adequately, but her lack of courtesy and professionalism left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer.

In contrast to the exceptional service always provided in the UK, the experience in Ghana was beyond poor due to the unacceptable behaviour of Vivienne.

Overall, while the Samamiah may excel in certain aspects of their service, the negative experience with their customer service in Ghana this time around, particularly from Vivienne, overshadowed any positives.

I expected better professionalism, unfortunately, this expectation was wild off the mark.

Considering the situation described, when a customer feels undervalued by one company despite their loyalty, another company has the opportunity to gain that customer's business.

Avoid Avoid Avoid Samamiah

Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!!!! They damaged my Toshiba TV, which they inspected and was fine upon collection. Only to tell me that the TV screen was found damaged upon inspection before delivery in Ghana. They then told me that the manufacturer, Toshiba, must have put the TV stand in front of the screen, hence the broken screen. I have never heard such a ridiculous explanation in my entire life. There were 2 Toshiba TVs, however, the robots that pack the TVs, somehow mistakenly placed the TV stand in front of the screen, therefore causing the screen to damage in transit to Ghana. No worries Samamiah. I hear you.

My items sent to Ghana with shipment…

My items sent to Ghana with shipment cost £1100 , got damaged while in storage ,when I put in a complain the senseless and unreasonable response I got from a Manager within this company was because I delayed in making my final payment for the shipment I have no cause to complain and also will not be compensated for the damages as per their terms and conditions for payment.
I wonder when it became legal and lawful behaviour for any business to damage clients /customers goods because of delays in making final payment?
