Extremely poor after-sales service
Extremely poor after-sales service – serious construction defects ignored
I purchased a new property from Salsa in November 2024. While the initial handover appeared acceptable, it quickly became clear that the large exterior terrace (approx. 136 m² with Porcelanosa gres porcelánico tiles) has major construction defects.
The entire free edge of the terrace was installed without any perimeter profile or proper edge support. The tiles are partially unsupported (“hanging in the air”), the vertical plinth is only fixed with dots of adhesive (leaving large voids), and there are no movement joints whatsoever across the whole surface — a clear violation of Spanish technical standard UNE 138002:2017.
I first contacted Salsa formally on 14 May and sent several detailed follow-up emails (including photos and technical references). According to my email tracking, these messages have been opened multiple times. To date, I have received zero response or acknowledgment.
This complete lack of after-sales service is unacceptable for a professional developer. Potential buyers should be very cautious: Salsa appears to have serious issues with quality control and shows no willingness to address even clear construction defects once the property is delivered.
If you value proper after-sales support and professional handling of warranty issues, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.
