Okay guys ...Here is another installment of the Sakura Scam

Okay guys ...here is another installment of the SakuraDate Scam Saga.

For starters here is a list of all the women that I have put on my block list for fake profiles and/or stolen profile pictures from Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, you name it.. Now keep in mind that I've talked to 17 women and every one of them was fake. Now from a statistical standpoint, the odds that 17 out of 17 women were fake is practically impossible unless its a systematic fraud, in general. And ...Sakura say they vetted all the women that are on the site...REALLY?? what was the criteria for this vetting process?? and why aren't the men vetted using the same process?...I wasn't vetted ..were you guys? The only time they try to vet you is when you submit a bad review., Why do the women get to use the site for free? Why is it that the men are the only ones paying for messages, videos, photos, audio files and the like. Why is it that when they censor your messages or other media at their own discretion, they still deduct the credits from your account? If this isn't a 9.5 on the bullshit meter then I don't know what is.

Here is the list of Scam Women -

I have filed a complaint on the aforementioned with SakuraDate on every one of them. All with the same message from Sakura.. We are so sorry blah blah blah and then they said that they would contact me within 72 hours to discuss this problem and guess what???...no contact on even one of them. And this goes back weeks.

I tried yet again to delete my profile and their pop up bullshit window from ZenDesk (AI Support) shows itself and they ask why I'm deleting my account and I tell them because "the profiles of the women are fake, you are censoring all of my messages and you are deleting my profile pictures" no response after that ...they just didn't even acknowledge my reason. Not a thing. Keep in mind that this is what happens every time I try to delete my profile. They never contact you. Saying that they will contact you is just a ploy to keep them in compliance with TrustPilot's guidelines. They have no intention of rectifying any complaints or problems because they are the ones causing the problems in the first place ...its their business model...This is a scam website from the women in the profiles to the BS customer service. Why solve customer problems when you can pretend to solve the problems and have the same effect?

when i finish spending my credits i will just be done with it...but until I do I will keep you guys appraised of my continued findings.

Now one last thing...you will see Sakura replying to this review saying that I have not given them my information to verify my complaint...well 1) would you give your phone number to scammers? Even less to scammers that don't post their phone number? 2) I'm just confirming all the other 1 star reviews. and 3) i have 175 employees that work for me...if i incentivized all of them to write a 1 star review of Sakura, what do you think would happen to their average rating number - below 1.0 that's what. But i wont do that because I'm legit and I wont play their game...not for now at least?

The way I see it Sakura, you owe me 1,200 USD for defrauding me

Sakura's average rating is 3.4 now...watch what happens...a slew of 4-5 star reviews will pop up to bring their average back up.

I'm in the process with working with a YouTube social media influencer with over 1 million followers and I've informed some congressional officials about romance scam websites and violations of FTC and FCC violations and maybe bank/wire fraud and other possible violations This romance scam horseshit has to stop. I encourage all of you to contact your local congressional office and file a formal complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and The Federal Communications Commission. If I am wrong and they find that Sakura is legit then ill be the first person to admit I was wrong. But if I'm right...well ...they are F***ed

try looking at the reviews on pissedconsumer.com if you want a better picture of the deception

I decided to leave a review after all

I decided to leave a review after all, because this site is definitely worth the attention. I'm ver picky when it comes to dating platforms and I wasn't sure about signing up at first. Times have changed so I started researching the market before choosing a platform to trust with my personal information. A few very good friends of mine whose opinion I trust recommend this site to me. After a few months of using it I can honestly say I would recommend it too. The functionality is simple yet very convenient. The support team is great but the most important thing is the people who choose this platform. They do so consciously which makes it much easier to find a great match

Thank you for such a thoughtful and detailed review!

We’re glad to hear you trusted your friends’ recommendation and that your own experience with the platform has been so positive. It’s wonderful that you find the functionality convenient, our support team helpful, and—most importantly—that the community itself makes it easier to connect with the right people.

A total scam!

I have been using it for a while and my conclusion is that it’s a total scam! The women are getting paid by the website, one way or the other, to generate as much credits as they can. And it’s very hard to get your personal information removed from this website by the online support department. All the 'good reviews' you read below are proberly fake too, or written by friends and family members as a sort of promotion. Save your money, don't go this path!

Don't Waste your Money

Exactly as others have stated with their one star reviews. Sakuradate is a clever scam that will take your money...just be warned. I have spent a few months trying to back my 'woman' into a corner to thus admit she is false. All these people giving them 5 stars ...be warned you are about to waste a lot of money. Asiandating is owned by Sakuradate and therefore is guilty of the same cheating by association. Please, please believe us that these sites are scammers, if you want the fun of playing a game of trying to trip them up then OK spend a few notes, but only for the fun...the dating stuff is just rubbish. Also can add Orchid Romance to this category....the 'lady' I was in contact with was a very demur 40+ who was a Doctor in traditional Chinese medicine and everything was in the scenario of a demur, shy lady...nothing crude or brash. I stopped messaging 'her' for a few days and 'she' obviously thought the game was up and then started firing off chat messages to me as to how big was my banana, can I dream of 'her' eating it and putting it in her thighs...etc etc etc.....not the type of language used by a demur doctor practicing in traditional Chinese Medicine!!! Back to Sakuradate, the 'woman' I was messaging kept telling me everything was censored including any of her contact details....I have at last backed 'her' into a corner...been like playing a game of chess...been a lot of fun really...the person on the other end has been very clever, although apart from the supposed censorship, which is impossible to do even with all of todays technology, made two big mistakes....absolutely perfect written English from a supposed 'Chinese lady' and the other was that early on in our conversations she sent me a video in two parts of herself masturbating apparently for me. I didn't see the second video which apparently she finished playing with herself and peed on the floor. Sorry, but this was a false move....no one would behave like that after just a few chat lines. So being aware of this fake scam site I set about trying to get the person backed into a corner where they needed to admit their folly. This person was clever continually hiding behind censorship issues...completely forgetting that they had previously carried out something that should have been censored.

How to waste months of your life and thousands of dollars...

Unfortunately it's not possible to post a zero score on Trustpilot as part of a review, though sites like Sakuradate would merit a negative rating, in my opinion.

My experience on this site began in early 2024 and, as at July 2025, I have finally accepted that I have been scammed out of thousands of dollars by this site. Of course, it's my own stupid fault---and I ought to have recognised the numerous red flags along the way. But hopefully my experience will help others to avoid making the same mistake.

So, imagine if you will, an average-looking man in his late-50s, who walks into a bar one evening, in the hope that he might meet a nice woman. He's been divorced for several years but is fairly clear about the kind of woman he wants to meet---similar age, similar interests, reasonably attractive, sense of humour, well-educated, etc. Upon walking into the bar the man is immediately surrounded by a bevy of much younger, but very beautiful women in their 20s, 30s and 40s. He explains to them all that he is much too old for them, but they all (each and every one!) express their "sincere" desire to be with an older man; they are all (each and every one!) tired of men their own age who are immature and don't know how to treat a woman well. The man is soon seduced by all the apparent attention and affection. As he walks through the bar, with several young women in tow, he can't help but glance at a number of gorgeous young women seated at the tables that he passes. These women instantly join the throng that follows him. They are calling to him and telling him that he is so handsome and that they want to be with him. The man is too mesmerised by all these women to notice that he is the only man in the entire bar, and soon he finds himself buying drinks for a dozen different women. Later, platters of food are brought out and the man, desperately wanting to impress all these adoring women, regularly flashes his credit card to pay for the constant expenses of food and drinks. It all just seems too good to be true! Has the man stumbled upon Heaven on Earth? Could it be a dream?

Hopefully, when reading the above scenario, you sense that discovering such a situation in reality would be most unlikely. But I have just described Sakuradate.com. After creating a profile on this "dating platform", and having uploaded a few photos of yourself, you will very quickly be besieged by young women eager to engage you in conversation, to share raunchy photos of themselves, and who will practically demand that you watch each and every video that they insert into the "chat". Within moments of viewing a woman's profile, she will message you, even if you had no intention of messaging her. If you respond then that woman will receive a notification every time you log onto the site, and she will message you immediately. You feel compelled to respond, and every message you send costs you money. These tactics are just a few employed by this very well-conceived and very "sticky" honey-trap of a platform. Before you know it, hours have passed and dollars have been wasted. The expenses involved in getting to know a "woman" on this site are constant and soon add up to staggering amounts. My worst 24-hour period on this site cost me around 600 US dollars. The videos are the killer---each one costs 50 credits (10-15 US dollars). Avoid them like the plague. The "women" themselves may or may not be the women in the photos on the profiles. After my suspicions about this site had began to slowly thaw my frozen state of infatuation, I used reverse-image searches to find and identify a number of individual women's social-media accounts---particularly on Instagram. I had reached a financial threshold at which I was no longer willing to constantly pay the exorbitant fees to maintain communication. So I mentioned to a few particular women that I had found them on Instagram or Facebook, and asked if we could continue contact via (free) social media. In every case (and there were a dozen or more women), the answer was a resounding "no". The excuses? Some told me that their "agent" managed their social media and they themselves didn't have access. Others said that their Instagram was for work purposes only. And a few told me that they felt more comfortable on Sakuradate. Not surprisingly, I got the distinct impression that there was some kind of playbook behind all this.

My overall judgement is that Sakuradate exists solely for the purpose of extracting as much money as possible from gullible and naïve men who fall for the dream of a relationship with a willing and beautiful young woman. But remember the old adage---if it seems too good to be true....

The profiles were fake

The profiles were fake, the professional photos of models were fake, the 'hostesses' (paid respondents) were fake, the qualifications were fake, and thousands of dollars did not get me a video call with a prospective partner. The texting was like conversing with a man sharing photos of female models he scraped off the internet. A site designed for deceitful entrapment & extortion of gullible males.

I have been on Sacura Date for over 10 months hoping to find honest connection with potential partner ,But instead I found that this site is used mostly by crooks who are affiliates to sakura defrauding members into buying expensive credits so they can get certain percentage back from the company's affiliate program,.. I feel this should be investigated by authorities and Sacura Date should be shut down as it is clearly guilty of facilitating fraud and extortion . I know this site is not the only one on the internet but its one I can provide evidence for. I urge our authorities to clean up the cyber space . The site is a SCAM

The site is a SCAM! I used it for several months and not only did I pay way too much to simply chat with people that ended up being total bots or catfishing accounts. They claim to vet every person, but I have so much evidence that accounts are run by bots or catfishers. The girls send photos of onlyfans models or photoshop photos all to bait men to spend money chatting with them. I am done with the site and tried to have my account deleted but even now as I request to have my account deleted so I am no longer associated with them, I am being ignored, told it takes roughly 7 days to get the account deleted. I made the first request in early June, its July 9th and its still not being deleted. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. All positive reviews for them and clearly bought reviews to scam people.

SakuraDate IS BLOCKED in China!!!

YES, REALLY! My Friend the WorldWildWeb is the new WildWildWest! As clearly stated in SakuraDate's Terms and Conditions (labeled Restricted Countries), China, including Hong Kong, and the Philippines, are listed with over 80 other countries where the site is NOT available. This is true with many dating sites, especially those based in the US. I have no doubt I am chatting with a 'Professional Chatter' sitting in a cube, stuffing his face with a Sara Lee chocolate cake between keystrokes. And, if they can't think of a good response to keep u spending credits, someone on their TEAM will. The probability u will physically meet anyone on any of these sites is ZERO. Even though their ads state that they have no fake profiles, read the fine print. Caveat emptor applies here! In response to the SD comment below, I suggest you review your Terms and Conditions and please explain how so many women from China are members of your site, considering it is not available in China.

The Sakura date site is a scam.

The Sakura date site is a scam. The women stay up all night and don't work. They take a portion of the money men pay as commission. They are making money. Most of them pretend not to know even if you give them information to meet. They send nude and genital exposure photos and videos all the time. Experience how much a 2-second video costs. It's just a waste of money and time. The same women are on all kinds of sites. It's the same company, different sites. Don't be fooled.
