Really appreciate the kind words, mate — that means a lot. I’ve put everything into building this brand, so hearing feedback like that honestly hits home. Stoked to know you rate the quality and service — that’s what it’s all about for us.

Really appreciate that, Reece! 🙏

Thanks so much for the kind words — it means a lot to hear that from someone who truly gets what we’re about. We’ve worked hard to bring that authentic elements of Japan to the UK, and hearing you feel that vibe makes it all worth it.

Glad you’re loving the quality and the range — I've put a lot of love into every aspect of each product to ensure maximum quality, from the clothing to the stickers, the snapbacks especially!

Thanks again for all the support, it genuinely means the world. Hopefully see you at the next event! 🇯🇵🔥

Legend Jack! 🙏

That honestly means a lot — hearing that you’ve been rocking our gear for years is unreal. Five years with the same sun strip… that’s proper loyalty right there! We’re so glad you’ve stuck with us and still rate the quality after all this time.

Massive thanks for being part of the journey and repping the brand — you’re exactly the kind of person that keeps SaitoWorks moving forward. 🇯🇵🔥

avoid!!

I attended Saitoworks in Hassocks on 18/10/2025. I left along with several other cars then received a message from the owner, Jon, saying ‘Shame. Please don’t ever return. Cheers.’ There was no context or explanation, nothing. I replied ‘Sorry why’s that?’. He replied ‘Zero tolerance. Every person has been warned, you send it up my road you’re banned. Not letting people like you jeopardise my livelihood with stupid bullshit like that. Same with the Camaro. Cheers.’ I replied ‘I’m not sure what u mean and I didn’t send it. But ok thank you’. I asked if I could return a T-shirt I had bought. I was not sure where this warning was as never spoken to him. Jon gave his opening hours and said to pop in to return the T-shirt for a refund. I misread the opening hours (which are different to the times on Google) and went over after work. When I arrived, the door was closed (no opening hours displayed or closed sign), lights were on, cars in the car park so I tried the handle, it was not locked. I went in, stood by the door and said Hello. A lady spoke to me but she wasn’t able to do returns so I asked her to let Jon know I had visited. I gave my name then left. I received an unpleasant email from Jon accusing me of trespassing when the shop was closed. He said my vehicle and details had been passed to the police. He accused me of heavy revving when I left again. The tone of the email was threatening and aggressive – ‘I’m not entirely sure what your problem is, but I heavily advise you stay away from this area else I will pursue legal action against you for several counts. I take these actions very seriously. If you’re looking for a refund on the items you purchased, this can now only be actioned upon receipt of posting the goods back to me.’ He said he did not realise it was me when he said I could return it in person. I said I had made a mistake with the opening hours I did not not revved when I left and that I was going to share my experiences on social media. I did not trespass because the door was not locked and Jon told me by email to return it. I went 1 or 2 steps inside then left as soon as I had spoken to the lady. Jon sent another aggressive email saying the opening hours and rather than accepting I had made a mistake, said Ishould have read the email properly. He made threats to contact a solicitor and take action for defamation and harassment over sharing on social media. It seems he is allowed to make a mistake about who was returning the T-shirt but I was not allowed to make a mistake over the opening times. He said the shutter was always up when the business is open. This is wrong as it was not up when someone else attended a day later. He says he has proof of my alleged antisocial driving but has not offered to share this with me, even though I vehemently deny it. His business is clearly in the wrong location but he blames visitors for any noise he claims their cars make. His business is geared towards attracting people with modified cars but he doesn’t like the noise modified cars make? He posted a video on TikTok whichinsults the type of people he is trying to get to visit! I have been refused the chance to return my item in person. He has sent a tirade of threatening and abusive messages, obtained my home address which I find quite disturbing when he sent the same letter by email and he has blown a small incident, which I deny, out of all proportion. Given my experiences with Jon, I would not return even if he apologised and removed my ban. If you have a modified car with an exhaust that makes any noise be very careful if you plan to visit. Jon will likely ban you. I continue to deny that I revved my car when I visited and Jonhas not provided any evidence to show that I did. There is a national speed limit in place from the pub. There are no other speed limit signs as you enter the industrial estate and no warnings regarding noise
Everything I have mentioned is documented in email as proof.
It’s now been 22days since I sent the item back and no refund issued.
Please send me your solicitor details as I need to contact them for giving you my address with out my permission what is against gdpr. Second of all the letter wasn’t from a solicitor it was sent by you trying to further more intimidate me

Unfortunately, this review is a direct result of your own actions, which included leaving our retail store in an antisocial and disrespectful manner — driving unnecessarily fast and ignoring the clearly stated site rules. This behaviour not only violated our own policies but also those of the landowner, who has independently issued you a ban from the premises. While we do not own the entire site, we do own our property, and your access to both has rightly been revoked.

SAITOWORKS® is built on mutual respect. Your review is dishonest, misleading, and contradicted by the CCTV (including audio) evidence we have documenting the incident. We have full proof that your claims regarding refund refusal are false. We honour all refunds within 28 days, both in-store and online, and this policy was clearly communicated to you via email.

Your updated review continues to misrepresent events. At no time were our communications aggressive or threatening. Every message sent was professional, direct, and in response to your actions — including entering our premises after closing hours without permission. Regardless of whether the door was locked, entering a private business when closed still constitutes trespassing under UK law. Our opening hours are displayed online and on Google, and it is your responsibility to visit within those hours.

To address your accusation of “aggressive” emails: none of our correspondence meets that description. The tone from your side, however, was repeatedly hostile and disrespectful. For transparency, below are excerpts from your own emails:

“I didn’t rev up the car at all when I left so that is full of shit! Also you do not own the factory estate and only the carpark outside your area… So you are full of shit again I will be sharing this on the groups.”
“Also you are full of crap as I didn’t rev my car up at all.”
“If u wasn’t being a child on Instagram.”

These statements speak for themselves and clearly demonstrate aggression and hostility directed at us.

Our zero-tolerance policy on antisocial driving is well-documented and in place to protect both our business and our neighbours. Every visitor is informed of this rule, and anyone found ignoring it is asked not to return. This policy applies equally to everyone — including high-performance cars and modified vehicles that behave respectfully. We regularly welcome everything from V8 GT86s to 600bhp PS13s and V10 R8s without issue, because their owners understand and respect the environment we operate in.

When you later asked to return an item, we provided clear instructions and our opening hours. You chose to attend after closing time and entered the premises regardless. Following this, we instructed that any further contact be handled by post, in line with our returns procedure. You were never denied a refund — only required to follow proper process after breaching boundaries.

No member of our team ever acted unprofessionally. Your home address was only obtained via legitimate legal channels through our solicitor, after you entered our property out of hours and became dishonest and defamatory online.

To suggest that our location or values are the issue is untrue. SAITOWORKS® exists to provide a respectful, safe space for car enthusiasts who share our passion for automotive culture — not for those who disregard basic conduct. The simple fact is that your actions were inconsistent with those values.

We stand firmly by our zero-tolerance approach and our responsibility to protect our staff, customers, and community. This situation could have been easily avoided had mutual respect been shown from the start.
