As a company, one of our core values is “Do right by the customer.” It pains us to read this review from Ms. Jennifer Sanderson, because it does not reflect the facts of what transpired or how we handle refunds.
Ms. Sanderson reached out reporting that our plugin Frequently Bought Together for LearnDash (FBT) “Was not working as expected - Not able to bundle digital product and LearnDash course” and demanded a refund.
Within the first 24 hours, our support team requested basic troubleshooting details—a brief screen recording or screenshots, error logs, or steps to reproduce.
Over the next five days, we followed up twice to help diagnose the issue. Unfortunately, we did not receive a single screenshot, log, or reproducible step during that period.
On the sixth day, instead of continuing with the troubleshooting we had requested, a payment dispute was opened through her bank (via Stripe) claiming the product was faulty.
We provided the bank with the full support timeline and our refund policy. After reviewing both sides, the bank ruled in our favor due to inconsistencies in the claim and the lack of evidence submitted to substantiate that the plugin failed.
To clarify our 15-day “100% Risk-Free” refund:
If our plugin fails to work as intended and we cannot resolve it, we issue a full refund.
To act responsibly, we must verify the problem—this can be done through screenshots, a short video, error logs, or a temporary/staging login with limited permissions.
We do not require permanent admin access to a live site. We routinely work with staging copies, temporary roles, or simply a screen recording, whichever the customer prefers from a security standpoint.
We understand that providing details can feel inconvenient, but this process protects both customers and vendors and ensures genuine issues are fixed quickly—or refunded promptly when they cannot be fixed.
Despite the challenges on this ticket, our door remains open. If Ms. Sanderson can share a short recording or reproducible steps, we will reopen the case immediately. If we confirm the issue and cannot resolve it, we will honor a full refund under our guarantee.
We remain committed to the standard we set for ourselves: do right by the customer, fix what we can, and refund when we can’t.
