The product I wanted was short on stock so not available via their website but after a quick call to their team they were able to sort out what I required very quickly.

About Safe Tread

Get a grip on safety with Safe Tread
We endeavour to reduce the number of accidents caused by slips, trips and falls so that people of all ages can live safe and comfortable lives without the need for complicated solutions.
Statistics show slipping and tripping to be the single most common cause of major injury in the UK and they are often the initiators of accidents attributed to other causes, such as machinery accidents, scalding and falls from height. Slip, trip and fall injuries cost the UK on average 1 billion pounds per year, with the majority of accidents commonly caused by wet or icy floors.
Our range of durable GRP anti-slip products for decking, flooring, stairs and walkways are an industry standard solution, proven to reduce accidents and improve safety by utilising our highly effective, gritted anti-slip safety surface. We pride ourselves on being a UK manufacturer, with the ability to produce a wide range of colours and multi-blend colourways for our anti-slip GRP strips.
By manufacturing in-house, we can produce to your exact specifications, utilising a wide range of grit and colours, supplied within days, not weeks.
Visit our website to view our range of Anti-Slip Step Strips, Decking Strips, Stair Nosing, Stair Treads, Stair Landing Covers, Stair Risers, Floor Sheets, Tactile Paving Plates, GRP Grating and a wide selection of screws, tools and adhesive sealants for installation.

Wouldn’t go past these
Product looks excellent, with subtle colours that blend well with weathered oak (black dune). Fairly unpleasant to cut so wrap up well, & don’t expect to reuse your countersink if self-drilling- but that’s a testimony to how tough these treads are. Do wonder if there’s a way to avoid the slight cupping by tweaking the manufacturing process?

Very promptly delivered. Slight manufacturing issue with 3 of the strips I ordered (colour variation). Called Safe Tread, spoke to James who organised replacements delivered the following day.

Great service from Safe Tread
Great service from Safe Tread. Ordered free samples which was great as otherwise I'd probably have ordered the wrong colour. Once chosen and ordered my delivery arrived a few days later. Super quick service and the treads look great. Thank you Safe Tread!

Quality product. Excellent service.
Excellent bright coloured decking anti slip strips. I have nine 2 metre long decking steps. These anti slip treads are ideal to protect my grandsons from slipping - and granny too.
Outstanding customer services. Thank you so much Roy for all your help. Rare these days to get such thoughtful customer service.
