The salesman carried out a home visit which lasted 2 hours - the quote started off at £29,000 and it was then reduced to £18,000, over a period of weeks it was gradually reduced to £11,000 - how can that be? Makes you wonder what the actual cost is to start with.
I found the installation process very stressful; all my upstairs windows were removed at once during a day with gale force winds. The front door constantly slamming shut where it was constantly left open.
I didn't realise the structural work required to install the replacement windows. Some windows were left unclean with marks on some frames. I was relieved when the whole process was over.

1. Experience was not satisfactory from day one. According to the FCA consumer duty standards, hard sells are actionable breaches however after saying no to the sales agent from safestyle and letting the 14 day period of a quote expire too much hard selling let me to accept a quote I initially did not intent to take.
2. Window installation had immediate post constructions defects such as faulty caulk leaking everywhere damaging the wall paint and paper. The caulk was replaced and fixed by safestyle, the wall was not so it will come out of my own pocket to fix extra damage which was not budgeted or intended.
3. The “brand new” factory made product came with multiple scratches across the UPVC which from day one will forever stay so it does not feel new nor does it justify the whole process and hard sale brochure of being Number 1 window manufacturer.

The salesman refused to even provide a quote unless both me and my partner were present - apparently I’m not trusted to make basic decisions on my own. Completely ridiculous. I’ll be going elsewhere.

The company sent out the most amazing man who is Ben Martin. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and respectful in explaining the process and making sense without too much jargon. We will definitely use Safestyld again in the future. Thank you Ben.

Good work ethic by the team. They cleaned up after the work was completed and also told us how to keep the uPVC windows clean and in good working order. Overall, a very good and professional job.

Helpful and thoroughly prepared, Tony from Southampton was immensely knowledgeable, aiding us in making the right decision at every step. We weren't sure we wanted to change our door, but with the insights and assurances from Tony we decided that we were absolutely in the right place to have our front door replaced with SafeStyle.

Sales man came to house today to do a quote decided it would take an hour and half before giving us the quote of just over £24,000 and when me and my partner said well look else where to get pricing comparisons the sales rep then rang my partner about an hour later dropping the price by £9000 so now it was coming in at £15000 feel ripped off and mugged because if you can drop £9000 in an hour what is the actual price for the windows. And if we agreed on the price today without the drop the company would happily of walked away with robbing £9000 more in their pockets don’t bother with them because they will be robbing you

Had a bay window installed a few weeks ago. I reported a gouge in the plastic moulding which looks unsightly. We have had to chase them twice now for a response. Heard nothing in two weeks, just an email to say it has been passed to their team. Once they have your money they are obviously not interested

Stay away from this organisation, front door not fitted correctly, living room window seal is broken, outside sealant seal is peeling.
Because the company goes bankrupt and changes its OC every year it doesn't fulfill it obligations to the 10 year guarantee. STAY AWAY

Didn't turn up for first installation , at second attempt they forgot to add a letterbox to door, agreed to have them fit at property after a so called management called me,to be amicable even though fitter advised against it.
After the call finished but before hanging up, I muttered morons, as a reflection to dismay in the failures to supply two doors
The manager called me back very angry to the point of wanting to meet up with me and finally hanging up the call and cancelling the installation and pulling fitter off site

Michael from safestyle made me feel that I was not pressured into making quick decisions. I also changed things last minute with no issues from Michael.
The date for fitting was fulfilled and the fitter was excellent quality with no issues and very efficient.

Very disappointing and stressful experience with Safestyle.
I placed an order in December 2025 for new windows and a front door. I was clearly told everything would be completed within around 6 weeks. However, after waiting more than 3 months, the installation was finally scheduled.
Scaffolding was installed on 20/03/2026, causing disruption to my home, and installation was booked for 23/03/2026. On the actual installation day, I received a phone call informing me that the front door had been manufactured incorrectly and the work could not proceed.
I was then told I would need to wait another 4 weeks. When I asked if at least the windows could be installed, I was told I must make payment for the windows even though the full job (including the door) was not complete. This directly contradicted their own written confirmation that payment is due only after full completion.
During the same call, I was also told the matter could be passed to their legal department if I did not agree, which I found very concerning and unnecessary.
I raised multiple complaints and allowed time for a response, but no proper solution was provided. Instead, I was later told I could be liable for up to 80% of the contract value if I cancelled, despite the delay and error being entirely on their side.
This experience has been extremely frustrating. Poor communication, significant delays, manufacturing errors, and pressure regarding payment have made this process very stressful.
I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

Had Safestyle windows replaced after a number of years and was shown how shoddy original workmanship was - cracks in frames covered up, window screws not fixed into brickwork etc. It may look alright but the fitting was poor.

Went only as far as a quote. The salesperson was nice enough but the BS sales tactics are really annoying. You get this super inflated quite, a call to technician (could we install the special door) special discount just for me, oh an let's not forget that's only valid for two years cause you know, end of tax year 😂. And just like that from nearly £5k I can buy the patio door for £1800. Miracle. So yeah I don't trust company's that use shady sales tactics.

David was very detailed and clear in his explanations covering the types of windows and their suitability for me. He also explained why safestyle products were superior to other products in the market as well as the different payment options available to me.

We have used Safestyle twice now as we were happy with the back door (including cat-flap) so decided to get a quote to replace the front door and two old windows which we have now agreed to do.
The salesman, Vijay was friendly and helpful and professional and the back door was of good quality and fitted well.
Happy to recommend this company/Vijay.
