Just been advised this company has gone…

Just been advised this company has gone into liquidation and that my contract (which thankfully I cancelled) has been cancelled.

Not however, before they sold my details to a third party, and I had written to them in line with the ICO guidelines about this but nothing can be done about this now! So watch out if you have done this! You will be flooded with calls from other cos!

SCUM OF THE EARTH

Safe Glaze UK , were supposed to turn up at 8am this morning to fit new windows and doors throughout the house of my elderly parents of which my father is housebound.
The job is £10,000 of which they have paid £1000 deposit .
They have saved up over the years to get the job done .
How can any human being do this to people who just about make ends meet .
The doors and windows have been in need of replacing for years but they did not have the funds to replace them until now . This is heartbreaking .
My parents are devastated by this .

Need a contact number

We are due to have doors and windows fitted and cannot get hold of SafeGlaze - does anyone have a number you can contact them on? We are currently sitting with no outside wall as it was removed to enable the doors to be fitted.

SafeGlaze UK - bunch of cowboys/conmerchants

What a bunch of cowboys/conmerchants. The salesman came round and we agreed a good deal(knocked him down from 11,000 to 5,000) and paid the surveyors fee. Mistake 1. Fair enough he came round on time and seemed to do a professional job, we asked him if scaffolding was includeded in the price etc. Yes, everything was included etc.. Heard nothing, apart from a letter, for 16 days then a phone call saying that before they could come and fit anything we had to pay over £400 for the scaffolding to be sorted. I told them that that had been part of the price we agreed with the salesman and he argued it had not. I refused to pay it, so he said they would have to cancel the contract. I called his bluff and said cancel it then. Since then, we've had a phone call, saying that they had gone bust and this guy was taking over there sales and did we want him to come round to give us a new quote. How did he have my details? Scam I think. Going to contact the bank and see if they can get my money back.

I cancelled my contract next day and I'm still waiting for refund. Today it is 4 weeks. Rubbish!!!! Now the phone number is dead. The sales man ,Ian ,same phone down. I spoke with my bank for disputes, I sent all documents. If it's not successful, I'm going to solicitor.
Somebody knows how to contact them? Or what I have to do?
Be aware with this company.

Beware, they may well have gone bust!

I would not deal with these, also calling themselves Neo-Glaze now, until you know for sure if they are still trading, which is looking more and more doubtful by the minute.

I have been waiting for scaffolding for days now, they insisted scaffolding was necessary for safety reasons (which they charged us for, of course), and then workmen arrived, no scaffolding, the workmen did the windows they could at ground level, and we all waited and waited and waited for the scaffolding to turn up... Today, we tried to phone the company, and like so many others, found out it just rings once and line dies, on all the numbers we've tried. It's not looking good for SafeGlaze / NeoGlaze, and their customers.

I suggest that if you have arranged to pay by Direct Debit and the work hasn't been done, you cancel this ASAP with your bank, just in case. You can always re-instate it later if this turns out to be a false alarm.

Me, I'm cancelling the DD, but also doing a charge-back on the surveyor's fee. If they're still trading and they complete the work, I'll pay them back, but in the meantime, I feel safer with the money with me.

Do not use the SafeGlaze UK for fitting…

Do not use the SafeGlaze UK for fitting any of the doors or windows. We had paid the 150 pound deposit and were waiting for the surveyor to come today who didn't turn up. After calling countless time in the number that they had provided no one answered initially and later the numbers didn't work. We came to find out from the person who handed the leaflet that the company had gone bust. I was shocked to hear this news. I am angry to see how they can con so many hard working family's earning and get away with it. I hope all their costumers will be refunded. I need to find a way to ask for the refund. Please stay away from the SafeGlaze UK or NeoGlaze UK.

Utter disgrace and shambles

Utter disgrace and shambles of a company. Added money on after initial quote and when opted against proceeding completely failed to refund survey fee - which they assured me they would (on several occasions when followed up) and which was paid in good faith. Bunch of thieves. Do not go near.

Order delayed, contact cut off not being answered

I called 0800241241, a woman answered, when I asked for her to repeat what she had asked me as I didn't hear her she very purposefully hung up on me.
I have had the manager from the Birmingham depot contact me to say our window frames have not been delivered to them and therefore cannot fit our windows as previously booked over 2 months ago. This took me to look into trust pilot and previous reviews, which are worse than terrible. My confidence and trust in safestyle UK, or Neo Glaze which ever stands at this point, is gone and I am cancelling our order with immediate effect. I will also put this in writing on any necessary emails and to press if need be.
Terrible service.
Update: since originally calling and leaving a complaint online, all of the numbers listed to call now just ring out, I've even tried 141 before the number to hide caller id still no answer. I am still trying to get in touch to cancel all together.
Stay away from safeglaze/neo glaze

I wouldn't advise you use this company SafeGlaze or NeoGlaze. Windows won't close and no keys to lock

I wouldn't advise you use this company. I have been left with windows that won't close (hello winter) and no keys to lock the windows that do close. The journey started out positive enough, apart from the numerous phone calls to try and get your business. Once that had been established and the windows I ordered had been installed, funnily enough, it became very difficult getting through to them. The issues started when I noticed one of the windows that was installed was crooked and I couldn't close it, 2nd they drove off without leaving the keys to actually lock the windows. I tried to contact them, as soon as the driver had left so they could try and get hold of him and get him back to me to drop the keys off, he had also left his jacket. It took me an hour to get through, which at this point totally defeated the idea of trying to catch him before he left the area. The girl I spoke to on the phone left a lot to be desired as far as customer service is concerned, she didn't have a very good attitude at all. I have since tried telephoning 2 to 3 times a day, and when I finally do get through, that is if I haven't been hung up on, I am told the same message over and over again. "I am really sorry, I can't seem to get hold of the Birmingham branch, I promise someone will get back to you straight away" substitute straight away with this morning, also, by the end of the day. So as mentioned at the top of this feedback, we have windows that won't close and can't lock, so I am left feeling unsafe in my own home and cold. I am just really annoyed as we have worked hard and saved up to get this done, and it looks like we may have to spend more money to put right the issues we have been left with. Thank you SafeGlaze UK. It saddens me that Customer and Quality services seem to be disappearing from this country. Is that why name changes happen frequently, so they can't get rid of all the bad reviews against their name and start again, they have mentioned they are going to soon be called NeoGlaze. Won't trust them either.

After researching this morning and…

After researching this morning and contacting IKANO Bank who arrange their fininace it appears they are re-named as Neo Glaze. Not managed to make contact or even find any contact numbers as yet. The bank said that they are still in business. I still question the ethics and morals of company that does not contact customers to advise on what is happening.

After weeks of no contact it appears the company Judt disappeared. this would explain why the order that I placed for over £6000 has been cancelled. Its looks like the owner has got a track record of doing something similar with Safestyle. Managed to cancel my deposit in time but feel stupid for signing up in the first place
