The owner of SAFE GLAZE was a MR PHILIP O'MALLEY and he previously owned Safe Style until he sold it a few years ago.I have herd on the grape vine he is about to set up again under a different name and manufacture his own windows and doors.
Absolutely abysmal company
Absolutely abysmal company. I had Windows from them earlier in the year. I was lied to repeatedly, cheated and let down on more than 1 occasion. Was promised compensation more than once for missed appointments, botched jobs and terrible service. Didn't get a penny. Bunch of liars. This company shouldn't be allowed to operate. Dreadful. Avoid at all cost!
To all affected by this company
Suggest all of you in the same boat as myself e-mail the administrator of Safe Glaze to complain about the conduct of the Directors / backers of this company to get them barred from holding such positions elsewhere. Many like myself appear not to have received either their CERTASS or insurance backed guarantee certificates, this is tantamount to fraud of the first degree. You should also note that if you, like many, have not received a CERTASS certificate you will need to obtain a regularisation certificate from your local building authority (this will cost you) otherwise you will have problems trying to re-mortgage or sell your property. these charlatans have taken money from many without fulfilling their obligations and should not get off scot free to fleece anyone else. Shame this site does not allow minus ratings. Maybe someone should organise a class action against these people.
They are a rip off disgusting people…

Any company that employs a salesman that calls a potential customer a knob does not deserve any custom. Avoid.
Total farce.
Fortunately I only paid a deposit on my credit card so I will get my money back. It is such a shame that these people cannot face criminal charges and go to prison for what they have done. At 67 years and suffering with depression and anxiety and I certainly do not need stress from people like this. I understand that they have walked away and started a new business. Absolutely disgusted. I really feel sorry for people who have lost money and received substandard double glazing from this company.
Spent £4000 on windows and doors
Spent £4000 on windows and doors, have needed a new front door and frame since they fitted it, damaged and bowed and lets in water, back window scratched and damaged. Was supposed to fit new today and now they have gone bust BRILLIANT, good job I got a CCA agreement and paid some on my credit card and can do a chargeback with my bank to get my money back, bunch of sharks.
ANYONE WHO HAS MADE A DEPOSIT OR PAYMENT WITH A DEBIT/CREDIT CARD FOR THE WINDOWS AND NOT RECEIVED THEM, OR THEY ARE DAMAGED (NEWLY FITTED) YOU CAN MAKE A CHARGE BACK WITH YOUR BANK FOR THE ENTIRE AMOUNT PAID. CONTACT YOUR BANK AND ASK FOR A "CHARGEBACK". YOU ARE ALSO COVERED IF YOU HAVE A CREDIT AGREEMENT UNDER SECTION 75 & 75A
15 years guarantee Have'nt Lasted 15 weeks

Worried about no Certas and Finance Co
I have been chasing my Certas Certificate since I had my windows fitted in March with constant promises of it will be sent.
Googled today after number giving of funny tone to find out they have gone into administration.
I had my windows on finance with them, dies anyone know if I still have to pay as I assume the Certas Certificate is not free and will affect sale of property without one.
I have emailed the administrator but not holding out for much can anyone advise.
Thanks
Administration
I have spoken to the Administrators of Safeglaze regarding my order which was due to be fitted this week
The company has no or very little assets other than the company order book which they are looking to sell on
As the company has gone into Administration the contact entered into would no longer be valid
I had made a large deposit payment on my order which was supposed to be covered by IWA deposit guarantee, when i contacted them they informed me that this had not been passed to them by Safeglaze
More concerningly last Thursday i received a telephone call from a man called John Taylor supposedly from HSC (Home Solution Centre) on a Manchester number (0161 375 1052) claiming to have taken over the order book of Safeglaze which is not the case or was not at that point as i had only just put the phone down to the administrators
It would appear that personal information has been removed from the company and passed to third parties without consent which is a breach of GDPR 2018
If anyone is contacted by the above i would suggest calling or e-mailing the administrators

What shall I do
Does anyone have any news about Safeglaze? I had windows and doors fitted in a 3 bed house. The fitters demaged all the walls around the windows and doors...very badly. They came to fix the problems at least 3 times but still wasn't right. I had to pay for a plasterer to make it properly plus paying for paint work. On the top of it all my windows and doors are damaged and they said several times on the phone that someone will fix those. Engineers were coming and taking photos many times but nothing happened and every time when we rang they said it's not in the system and they will send someone to look at it. They suppused to come in October again and we were waiting again for them but nobody came and the customer service said someone was here but we didn't open the door....really? They suppose to come again on the 10th November but they won't as the company has been busted. We still haven't got any fensa or certass certificate and the windows have been installed over 6 months ago. My prob is they have not registered my guarantee with fensa or certass or anyone and I believe by law it is illegal to sell double glazing without guarantee. Can anyone advise on that? I wanted to stop the direct depit payment because safeglaze has gone into administration but the finance company said that it would affect very badly my credit score even if the event wasn't at my fault and advised me to wait. So what can I do now and what about my 15 years guarantee?
Can anyone help please!
Can anyone help please? Had windows fitted on 9th October and Safeglaze now gone to Administration. My prob is they have not registered my guarantee with iwa or certass. By law it is illegal to sell double glazing without guarantee.can anyone advise?

no after sales
They fitted my new door, within two hours the so called works manger called, They did not fit the house number 25 as they should have done, and the knocker was loose as bolt is broken. he reported this and I am still waiting. He invited himself into the house and then tried to sell me new windows, to the point I had to ask him to leave ,,,,
Horrendous work....
We recently had 2 doors fitted by 2 men who were in such a rush i couldn't believe it...the work was horrendous they pulled all the plasterboard off in my hallway, fixed the door and thought it was ok?? The back door was horrendous too....i refused to pay and they got angry and said they were going to come in with a crowbar and rip the doors off!!! they also wanted me to sign to say i was happy with the work....I most certainly did not sign anything either!...i took lots of pics of all the damage they had done and sent them to peterborough office and they sent two lovely men to fix the rubbish the others had left! They did the best job they could but because the plaster was wet i have no trim around my front door and just a mess...The silicone is terrible just thick and slopped on...i rang the office but (Kai) didn't want to talk to me..i then sent an email asking when the work would be finished but heard nothing!! Luckily i haven't paid them but not happy with the doors I've been left with!Dont know what to do we want the hallway to look nice for xmas but thinking about asking trading standards or citizens advice what to do next??
UNSAFE GLAZE do not trade with this…
UNSAFE GLAZE do not trade with this company or NeoGlaze they are one in the same. Paid a deposit and got NO windows and no explanation. No contact numbers connect windows should of been fitted 29.10.18 no warning no contact NO WINDOWS.
On 20th June 2018 Safeglaze were…
On 20th June 2018 Safeglaze were promoting in my area. I ordered a new lounge window from their salesman, we entered a contract did all the paperwork and I paid Safeglaze £150.00 deposit, luckily by Credit Card.
We agreed a fitting date of 24th September 2018 and they confirmed it in writing. I shifted furniture and, on 24th, stayed in all day but nobody appeared. Next day I phoned to be told that due to the window size they were still waiting for the glass from Ireland. Since then J have made numerous calls and either been told they will call back - they never do or after waiting 20 mins + listening to stupid music, I got no reply, I have run up phone bills of over £10.00 as a result, On 29th October I tried phoning again on all their numbers and all their phone lines were unobtainable. Have they ceased trading ? I have no idea. I have now contacted my bank and claimed my deposit back under Sec 75 Consumer Credit Act 1974. As far as I am concerned I have no idea how excellent their product may be but their customer service is abysmal/non existent. I would not recommend them to anybody. Very Poor customer relations.
Poor Customer Service
I had two windows fitted by Safe Glaze the fitter did a really good job so i ordered 3 more windows and that is when the problems started.
They came to fit the windows and in the process the fitter broke my toilet seat which he did replace but it was not until after they had left that i noticed the toilet pot it's self was cracked i reported this to safe glaze and at first they was going to get a plumber but then they left it to me i had to pay £150 upfront for parts and the rest on completion which in total came to £390 of which i am still awaiting £150 from the fitter who accused me of taking food out of his childrens mouth and i would have to take him to court for the rest but had he not broke the toilet in the first place would not have been in this position.
I have made several phone calls to his manager but i have been fobbed off but now when i ring i get a message saying i have called an in correct number.
I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Happy with Safeglaze
I have read with interest some of the reviews on Safeglaze which I am shocked at what has been written. We had the back of our house done in April and then when enough had been saved we had the front done in September. We are extremely satisfied with all the windows and 2 doors. Maybe we were just lucky, we have not noticed any problems. Incidentally I was contacted about Safeglaze going into administration yesterday by a company called Energy Solutions.
