Nancy loves the food but I do run out a…

Nancy loves the food but I do run out a few days before delivery but that’s probably because she stares hard at who ever feeds her until they aid a bit more to the bowl!

Food sent immediately for next day delivery. Unfortunately, the courier failed and it didn’t arrive until 2 days after that.

Really good quality dog food

The food seems really good quality, my dog has had no problems with this food and is now very vocal and excited when he see it lol, great product.

The best of the best

Sabre Pet Food really are the best of the best. Our Labrador has gone from being generally uninterested in her meals (which seems so wrong for the breed!) to loving YDOLO. The service from the team at Sabre is excellent, and they'll do everything they can to support you and your dog onto a path that's right for you. I cannot recommend them enough!

Zero customer service

I have 2 subscriptions and recently the past few months have had multiple issues with their service.
Firstly they don't notify you if your subscription is out of stock. They send a notification the day before your subscription is due to be sent out to remind you that your subscription is due tomorrow, but if they don't have stock they don't tell you, they just don't send it!
Luckily with my last one, for some reason i went into my account to double check and realised it had been cancelled due to OOS, which is unacceptable as i was not even told, and it would leave me with limited dog food left and to find an alternative for fussy dogs with food allergies.
I asked them if they could send me just 1 bag of a different flavour as a replacement so i could make sure they would take to it. I was sacrificing £82 out of desperation having limited time before i would have no food left and the risk the dogs wouldn't eat it and I'd waste £82. However, they didn't listen and have charged me for 2 bags of it and dispatched them!!
I also asked them, in the future could they let me know with some notice if they are OOS on my subscription to enable me to plan my dogs food, but they just ignored me.
They also couldn't give me any date when they would be back in stock with my subscription.
Secondly prior to this, they sent me the wrong flavour, they sent me chicken which my dogs have allergies to. However I didn't open the parcel until i had run out of dog food, and realised it was the the wrong one. I contacted them immediately and asked if they could immediately dispatch my correct order as i had no food left. They refused to dispatch it until the incorrect product was collected and returned to them!
I explained i had no more food left and it was their mistake, they didn't care, they insisted it was returned first! (even sent them a photo of the incorrect parcel/item, and i have never ordered this flavour ever in the past).
Truly shocking that as a customer I have to pay for their mistakes whether that is financially or with my dogs wellbeing, and I have been a long time customer.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, we’re very sorry to hear about your recent experience especially having been a loyal customer with us for a long time and experiencing these unfortunate events on your last 2 orders out of 52 orders total with us.

We take concerns like this seriously and have been trying to reach you to resolve this as quickly as possible. We’ve attempted to contact you by phone, left a voicemail, and also sent an email, but haven’t yet been able to connect with you. We would still really appreciate the opportunity to put this right for you.

Regarding your subscription, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused when your product went out of stock. We recently experienced a technical issue between our IT systems which affected how stock availability was communicated online, we have put measures in place to ensure this does not happen again.

When this issue was raised a replacement product was discussed. Due to a misunderstanding, the order was then initially processed in line with your usual subscription (2 x 10kg), rather than the requested 1 x 10kg trial. As soon as this was identified, we cancelled and recalled the order, refunded the additional bag, and arranged for the correct 1 x 10kg to be sent on a next-day service.

We’re also very sorry for the earlier incident where you received the incorrect flavour in a previous order, we completely understand how frustrating this must have been. On that occasion, we arranged for the incorrect item to be collected while ensuring the correct product was dispatched, with both the collection and replacement taking place on the same day to minimise disruption.

Please be assured that we do care deeply about both our customers and their pets, and we are continuously reviewing our processes to prevent issues like this from happening again. We would really like to resolve this fully for you.

The product is excellent

The product is excellent. We can see a big improvement in our dog's digestive health. He seemed to have a lot more energy after the first couple of meals, this is normal now. Very impressed, he also seems to love the taste 😊.
We have been struggling to sort out a subscription which is the only thing preventing 5 stars.

Cold pressed insect food

I’m really pleased with the insect cold pressed food. My dog isn’t anywhere near as windy, his poo is better formed and we can sit in a room with him without needing an oxygen tank. Win win!
