As many others have stated, all has been fine for me for a couple of years up until the past week. Suddenly I can no longer receive texts. I can send them OK, so presumably not a signal issue (althou... See more

Failing at the basics
SIM card arrived without the pre-paid credit I'd paid for. Still no response to my email about that.
Added extra £5 credit and made a call successfully. Then two days later the SIM card stopped working entirely. Helpline gave some vague response that the SIM was fine and that here was some "backend problem" with the network. No indication of when it would be fixed and no apology.
Called back 6 hours later for an update and told to restart phone. Still no service.
So, my SIM has been out of action for over 24 hours and I have no idea what's going on.
All feels a bit generally sloppy too. The welcome letter tells you to email them to activate your SIM and when you do so they reply saying it's already activated. Automated responses to email enquiries include the wrong customer service number.
I would strongly caution against porting your number to them or signing up to a contract, as they clearly don't have a handle on the basics.
Still paying for disconnected SIM
Cancelled an eSIM contract two months ago and they continue to take money as a reoccurring debt card payment.
Despite emails and getting a number for my enquiry I have had no further action from them.
Next move is to cancel at the bank
Non existent customer service
No response to emails, no one answers the phone! Absolutely useless.
Just don't sign any contract with these…
Just don't sign any contract with these scammers! My phone died, I wanted to stop the monthly contract but there are no such options on line! And it is impossible to reach their office! I don't understand the point of having a contract with these scammers when there are many other similar telephony providers, which are not all reliable either, but the worst are more reliable than RWG Wales. The government should ban such scammers who do not allow people to suspend their monthly contract. I hardly use RWG Wales and now my phone is broken I wanted to temporarily suspend my monthly subscription, but that is impossible!
Apparently, when you have a small company, the owners want to increase their wealth in every way possible, so they cheat.
Once again, the government should take away the permission for such companies to provide such a poor quality service to customers!
The customer service line is just an…
The customer service line is just an automated message to say the number's changed. You ring that number and there's no connection to it. The SIM card doesn't connect to the network properly unless you chat online to someone there for them to finally sort it out half-an-hour into the chat. And then the credit is swallowed up by the data you didn't intend on using but thought it might have been the only way to kick the damn SIM into action. As soon as the advisor knew I was going to complain about the credit being taken for no good reason she disconnected the chat.
Shocking company but you get what you pay for I guess (or not in my case, as I didn't get anything but a headache). Avoid.
Extremely bad. Nothing works
Very bad. Only using as a temporary, in-between SIM card while I swap to my new one. Haven’t had it for 2 full days yet and I can’t wait to get it out. Signal is awful- there’s either none whatsoever or one bar. The internet works then doesn’t. I can ring a number one day then the next day I can’t even though it’s the same number. This has made it awkward for me to log in/ out of work. I’ve had messages send/ come through with practically no signal, and messages fail to send with stronger signal. No one can ring me as it sends them straight to answer machine which I don’t use. I can’t ring anyone as it says the number isn’t connected. I haven’t got a clue what’s going on but it’s really terrible. I don’t know of any other provider this bad. I would never use them properly
AVOID!
Bought two SIM cards in November, one with the basic £1 credit, plus the other with their 1 year, 2GB bundle. Both cards arrived with £1 credit. Tried emailing them to get the bundle activated on my SIM. No email is ever answered, except by their automatic response with a reference number. Phone calls to their number reach a voicemail telling you their number has changed. Called the new number and got routed to a call centre where their call handlers struggled to find any record of my phone numbers or reference numbers, and promised to 'pass the issue on to their tech team who will sort it out tomorrow'. Needless to say, the tech team do nothing. Over two months, numerous emails and phone calls later, I just want a refund, but no one seems capable of actioning that either.
This has got to be the worst customer service I've ever seen in a mobile provider.
Fast effiecient response to my inquiry
Data sim doesn't work
Same as many other reviews. Ordered data sim entered the APN etc but still doesnt work. Called customer service, no help at all. USELESS!

Ordered a SIM with £1 credit to test the signal. When it came it only had 8p on it and was no good. After emailing several times with no response I called their call centre and they were useless. I wouldn't recommend these at all
RWG continues to take payments after contracts have ended
RWG offer attractive packages but customer service is non-existent.
Both my husband and I ported our 30-day contract numbers from RWG to an alternative provider offering WiFi calling. However RWG continue to bill us monthly despite no longer being customers and our contracts have ended.
My husband received an apology on one occasion and partial refund of the unauthorised payment but the following month RWG took full payments once again.
I haven't received any response at all to multiple emails and messages and the phone is never answered. Because payments are charged to a debit/credit card rather than direct debit, they cannot be cancelled easily. We are now having to seek chargebacks via our respective banks. Definitely not a company I could recommend.
Great customer service :)
Now a Scam Company
Same as other reviewers. Ordered an eSIM last month. It didn't arrive. I will be contacting my CC company and asking for return of funds.
Same as other users
Same as other users, unable to get a sim swap done. No reply from customer services in four weeks. Awaiting a pac code. Will update once I receive one 16/01/2025
They don’t reply to emails or messages
They don’t reply to emails or messages, they don’t answer their phones.
My service has stopped and they’ve reduced my balance to zero. They used to be so good but I don’t think they’ll be going for long. Perhaps it’s because Talk Home are so much cheaper.
Best avoided sadly.

Certainly can't give a 5star review as communication is awful. However I ordered a sim that was delivere 2 days later - excellent. It was recognised by the phone ok but needed to be activated and that's where the annoyance started. Emailed support as requested in the package but the first email bounced back. Second appeaared to get through but nothing happened. Phone number was message only. Twitter and facbook no response.
Thankfully the sim was activated the following day, presumably in responce to the email but no message received from them.
Service appears good with excellent data speed so I'm now happy (after a nervous start) as I am getting what I wanted at an excellent price.

Tim was very helpful and resolved my issue. He answered the call quickly and even when I hung up by accident he was there when I phoned back. He asked me to send info via whatsapp which he dealt with as soon as I did and phoned me back to confirm how things had been resolved
Acquired by Now Mobile.
Awful awful awful.
They don't reply to emails, they don't answer the telephone.
I called today to find out they've been acquired by now mobile who use outsourced customer service.
I ordered a sim in their Black Friday deals, it never arrived. The only thing they have managed to do is bill me each and every month for a sim card I don't have. Customer service is non-existent, all that Now Mobile can do when I call them is to tell me that they'll escalate the matter.
I will be doing a chargeback on all of their charges via my credit card.
