This is the most useless ai app i've ever seen. After paying they keep saying they cant dictate the faces despite the faces showing clearly, when they managed to dictate two faces, it still refused to... See more

SCAM
They offer a free plan, BUT when you sign up there is NONE. YOU CAN’T generate anything for free. total waste of time! If they treat users even before they buy their plan, just imagine what it’s going to be like when you pay the money
Runway only squeezes your money
The so called Unlimited plan is in practice LIMITED to 2250 credits per month. If you use these credits ( and believe me you will do it very quickly!) You should buy more and more credits. Unlimited plan is a fraud and is breaking customers law. I hope my feedback help more people not to start with this AI. Moreover Runway is so dumb that you have to repeat one and the same many times for your own credits (equals your money:)
Shuler programm to squeeze money. Be careful!
GARBAGE
GARBAGE. low quality, video output continuously zooming in even with the prompt they provide to tell it not to, edit/drawing annotations appearing in the final output, and only being able to genera 4-5 awful videos on a paid plan. And the ticket submission in their chat didn't work
Scam keeps generating stuff that don’t…
Scam keeps generating stuff that don’t match what you asked for credit burn in couple minutes for shameful results! I won’t use this even if it becomes free
the unlimited version
the unlimited version - it takes about 30 minutes to generate a video on average. the results are terrible - Grok generates arguably better results in 30 seconds for free.
it seems like they have an ai algorithm that lowers the quality of each generation the more you use it, or something similar to that. do not waste your money
SCAMMERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
SCAMMERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how can i cancel my subscription now ??? I will report them everywhere!!!!!
prompts do not work, high charge
ai generator esp. image to video or video editing does not follow any prompts, instead it does the opposite and the worst thing is that they charge an exorbitant amount of money.
Worst experience on earth
it is basicly 3 video from veo3 for 20 dollars. The videos make 5 mn to generate and it is a scam, nothing is moving. IA is the worst scam ever made. This compagny just rob your money. if i could just take one of these developper i will make them suffer like in the middle ages. Sales fils de P***
Misleading subscription and unusable results for photo animation
Misleading subscription and unusable results for photo animation
Review:
I subscribed to Runway for €17 per month because I wanted to animate old family photos and bring them to life in a respectful, realistic way.
What I discovered after paying is that this is not really a “monthly” subscription — it is only 625 credits, which allows for just 4–5 attempts. Every try costs 125–225 credits, even when the result is clearly wrong.
The most disappointing part is that credits are taken even when the output is badly distorted. For example:
In one photo, my grandfather’s arms disappeared completely
In another, my daughter was given a third hand on her coat
My brother’s fingers were mixed up
Faces were often warped or unnatural
These are not small imperfections — these are broken and unusable results, especially painful when you are working with precious family photographs.
Despite this, credits were deducted every time, and there is no option to redo or correct the generation without paying again.
The system keeps the generated copies, so it is clear what was produced, yet the user is charged again for trying to fix obvious errors.
The advertising is also misleading. It is presented as a monthly subscription, but in reality it is just a limited credit pack that runs out very quickly.
I did not buy this to play with random effects — I bought it to gently animate old photos of my family, and instead I ended up losing money and being left with distorted images.
This is not written out of anger, but out of disappointment.
Please be more honest about what users are really paying for.
A completely useless service
A completely useless service, they ask $15 for 25 seconds of video, and the quality of the prompts is worse than even the free Grock.
Absolutely dreadful
Absolutely dreadful, expensive, charges multiple times if prompts don't generate usable results. Absolute waste of money AND it was recommended by ChatGPT.
What a load of crap.
What a load of crap.
Runway AI is one of those tools that looks impressive until you actually try to use it. The interface feels slick, but everything under the hood is painfully unreliable. Simple tasks take forever, exports fail randomly, and half the time the results look like a bad student project that’s been through a blender. For a product that markets itself as “professional,” the output is wildly inconsistent.
The pricing is the real joke. You burn through credits just trying to fix mistakes the tool itself makes, and somehow the quality still doesn’t justify the cost. Customer support is slow and vague, and updates feel like experiments you’re paying to beta test. Overall, it’s more frustration than innovation—overhyped, overpriced, and nowhere near ready to replace real creative tools or workflows.
Avoid this at all cost
Avoid this at all cost, there are much much better programs. Costs 15 bucks to make about 10 seconds and thats on the subscription plan. I tried to get a refund because what it generated was nonsense. terrible company, makes sense why its overall rating is 1.2
Scam
Absolute garbage and looks like a legal scam …this platform is charging crazy money for their shitty ai service and on top of that when you try to cancel your subscription there’s no clear evidence that you canceled .. most shady platform that I used so far . You guys are scammers!!!
Be aware people
Just awful
Just awful, felt like a scam, I could not make a 30-second ad for 11 pounds, the prompt does not follow instructions.
are you kidding me the given credits…
are you kidding me the given credits are not enough in any way maybe for 4 image to video!!!!! and thats for 160 euros. chargin the upscale to?
Runway is marketed as a cinematic video…
Runway is marketed as a cinematic video and motion tool, but it fails at basic physical actions.
Character movement and interaction are unreliable and often unusable for real production, yet credits are consumed even on failed outputs.
The gap between advertising and actual capability is severe.
Got nothing
I placed an order and waited over a month to get it. The tracking they offer you said it was delivered but I got nothing. When asked for a refund I was told that I was only able to get 60% back. Just a horrible company all the way around.
I would give it 0 stars if I could
I would give it 0 stars if I could. Definitely a scam. It delivers bad videos, I have 115 credits left, I want to generate a video, 115 should be enough even their AI chat says so, but it keeps saying I don't have sufficient credits. I ABSOLUTELY would AVOID this
Utterly useless! Verging upon a scam.
Terrible user interface, dreadful interpretation of text and inability to follow the most basic of scripts. They also charged an additional $3 on cancellation. Clearly they see this as the only means to make money.
