I love the concept of this company

I love the concept of this company. I NEED the concept of this company. The hair styles and textures are a god send. The first time EVER I’ve not needed to relax my hair and felt comfortable using extensions similar to my hair.

I’ve bought hair from around the world and know that it’s a complete gamble. I think they are still figuring out which companies are rogue.

That being said when the hair comes it’s amazing. Constant compliments it feels wonderful and looks it too.

But unfortunately it isn’t lasting and is matting.

I know they have sent some batches back.

I for one won’t be giving up though and will keep trying because of what Ruka hair are doing for black women is amazing.

I wanted so much to like ruka hair…

I wanted so much to like ruka hair after hearing so much about it but reality was it was nothing short of rubbish. Got knotty within a day, poor quality and so disappointing having spent a lot of money to get installed

Yes they have me a refund for the hair but you shouldn’t have to buy hair, get it installed, find out it is rubbish hair then have to get it reinstalled.
Very poor

For complete transparency Pam, operating within the hair industry which is largely unregulated means that we remain vulnerable still to poor supplier behaviour and faulty goods, which occasionally and unfortunately leads to some of our stock falling short of the quality benchmarks we would usually pride ourselves on.

My nan thought it was my REAL hair!

I ordered my hair on the 28th August and received it on the 30th August and honestly, this is the best hair I've bought by far!!!!!! I got the Think Kink ponytail and it matches with my hair perfectly, my nan genuinely thought it was my hair!

Scam company!!

Scam company!!! I didn't like the hair colour or texture so I followed the returns procedure to the letter - bearing in mind the hair was unused (I didn't even draw the string on the ponytail to try and affix it to my hair). I was told refunds take upto 14 working days to process from the day they (Ruka Team) receive the return. I have now waited over 17 days, and Ruka has stopped responding to my emails.
I paid with paypal, so I'll try to raise a dispute with them. I'll advise others to NEVER buy from this company. It shouldn't take this long for a UK company to issue a refund. If a company cannot fulfill refunds in the timefame THEY say it should take then they need to hire more admin staff. What a scam.

Not virgin hair spring fling and think silk

Bought two wigs 1) “spring fling” closure wig - once again over bleach. When washed brown discharge and nasty stench and nape Clumps really badly. The texture dropped within the first wash. Highly doubt hair is virgin and not worth the price given supply is from China. 4/10. When I went to collect the hair they attempted to give me hair that was probably on display when I went to collect the hair. 2) “ think silk” 24 inch - gorgeous but over bleached. And the wig construction isn’t that great. Not suitable for 21” inch head shapes lol
