Highly recommend
Our 3 year old son has been going to Ruggerbugs for the last year and absolutely loves it. We’ve seen real improvements in his co-ordination, especially in things like his ball throwing and kicking skills. The coaches are great, really enthusiastic and encouraging. Highly recommend for any parents looking for a weekend activity with your toddler.
Really good activity for children!
My son has been doing RUGGERBUGS since he could walk and he absolutely loves it and is always very excited to go to rugby each week. They are very friendly and its family focused and run, coach Matt is very engaging and my son is a big fan!
Great 30mins of interactivity
Great 30mins moving around, learning and running around. Learning the discipline of listening is essentially for growth of a child. We have been coming since my son was 18months and he is now 26months. There are times when he doesn't want to join in but the team are brilliant and eventually gets going. I would highly recommend.

The highlight of every week
The highlight of every week. Our two-year-old loves it. Her confidence grows week on week. A huge thanks to Loretta and her team.
Fantastic sessions at Bishops Stortford
My son has been attending this from 18 months old and he’s been absolutely loving it. It’s fantastic for his confidence, motor skills and all round good cheer!
We’re so grateful for the hard work from the Ruggerbugs team, particularly the coaches that put on great sessions.
The sessions are nicely varied each week, but there’s always some consistency and routine so the kids get familiar and feel confident and happy that they know what they are doing and what’s coming next.
Invaluable experience for kids
I am sad to see my son’s journey come to an end at Woodford. Reyansh started at Ruggerbugs when has two, and the has developed some invaluable skills, especially playing/working together as a team, which I think he will certainly appreciate later in his life.
He is going to miss Ruggerbugs.
Great Classes Great People
Always good, Andy, Harrison and Maisey always give each child personal attention and encouragement.
Ruggerbugs is fantastic!
Ruggerbugs is fantastic. Fun, dynamic, physical and my son and I have enjoyed doing it for a few years.
Excellent program for very young kids…
I recently signed my son up for Ruggerbugs children's rugby program and he loves it! He has learned a lot about the sport and really enjoys participating. The coaches are knowledgeable and the drills are fun for the kids. I was concerned about him playing rough contact sport, but with proper guidance from the coaches, it's a non-issue. He's been working on his speed, agility, and technique and he's already noticing a difference in his game. I highly recommend Ruggerbugs and am so glad to see my son having so much fun in a safe and secure environment.

We love Ruggerbugs!
This is a fab class and teaches so much, from sporting basics and taking turns / listening to counting and colours. Both girls love it! Would highly recommend!!
Ruggerbugs is fun, friendly and educational
My son has been going here since he was 18months old. The staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Each game encourages many things, as well as relatable to rugby, such as colours, jumping, counting, tidying etc. My son has come on leaps and bounds and thoroughly enjoys his weekly session as do we as parents.

A great early years club
Myself and my almost 2 year old attend the Caterpillars class at the Bishops Stortford Birchwood School centre with coaches Matt, Millar and Lily. All the coaches are truly amazing, very welcoming from the very first session. They engage with all the children and support them to take part in each part of the session without being pushy. My little boy’s confidence has really come on since starting the sessions in November. He particularly loves coaches Matt and Millar, often approaching them throughout the session for high 5’s.

Ruggabugs is structured fun for 45 mins
Ruggabugs is a great group exercise where the little ones have fun structured around the rules of rugby (loosely). It’s mainly following instructions from the trainers and letting them run the courses laid out. Ball handling skills is a good part of the session. Great for all kids of different ages and abilities

My twins love ruggerbugs
We have started taking our twins age 4 to ruggerbugs. Firstly I would like to say how helpful Tara was on the phone to me. I was abit worried as my son has cerebral palsy and autism. She re-assured me that classes are for all. So we signed up for a 4 weeks trial. The first week my son was not joining in too well and tbh he was shouting a lot, but the young men there Ozzi and Noah were amazing with him. He can’t use his left arm so they helped him out so much and adapted things for him. Since then my son has wanted to go back every week and Owen has taken a real shine to Ozzi. It’s so nice to see. My daughter also loves coming. We will sign up for more classes for sure. I would like to point out that every week has been different and my two have loved it. Would recommend to anyone who is feeling that they can’t take a child with special needs to ruggerbugs as you sure can.

Ruggerbugs is GREAT
Our little one has come on leaps and bounds (literally) since starting Ruggerbugs. The coaches seem to understand all the children whatever the age and are always encouraging and treat them as family. We can not recommend it highly enough.

Wholly recommended
My two boys, 3 and 5, absolutely love Ruggerbugs. Its a great way to start the weekend and they get so much out of it. Whilst a lot of fun, and clearly rugby focussed, they are also learning self discipline, co-ordination and co-operation. The coaches are very good with the little ones and create a really welcoming environment.
