Extremely Poor Customer Service
I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Ruby Granite during the installation of my quartz countertop. The experience has been nothing short of a nightmare due to the lack of care, precision, and communication from their team.
The problems began when the templater failed to account for the kitchen tap specifications, despite my clear communication and providing detailed documentation. This oversight resulted in a countertop that did not accommodate the tap properly, leaving my family without water in the kitchen for over six weeks.
What made matters worse was the poor response from the company. After highlighting the issue, I was advised to buy a tap costing £1,200 as a solution – nearly £1,000 more than the original tap I purchased!
The company then promised to fix the issue by widening the hole in the quartz but never followed up, leaving the matter unresolved since November 2024!
The lack of communication has been appalling. Despite multiple attempts at contacting them, including a formal complaint sent on 11 December, I have yet to receive any meaningful response or resolution. This level of customer service is unacceptable for any company, let alone one that prides itself on professionalism.
This experience has been stressful and costly, forcing me to incur additional expenses for a second tap, multiple plumbing visits, and weeks of inconvenience for my family over the Christmas period.
Despite the poor customer service, the quality of the top is good. I would only recommend this company if you're happy to compromise on good customer care.
