The sofa (4 seater + 2 seater) is…

The sofa (4 seater + 2 seater) is beautiful!! Way better than it looked in the pictures online. It even came with the cushions which I was not expecting and hence pleasantly surprised.

The delivery people were great! They were very helpful, did the assembly in no time and all in a socially distanced way.

Could not be happier with my experience.

Lovely sofa

Lovely sofa. Delivered within a month of ordering. Delivery men Samat and zulfiqur were helpful and put the sofa together.

Very quick delivery!!

Amazing! We ordered our new sofa and chair on the 2nd of January and the estimated delivery time was 8-16 weeks. After 2 weeks we received an email to inform us that the items were now in stock and would be delivered the following day. Very quick efficient service, the delivery guys were great too. We would highly reccomend Rubeza.. The sofas are fantastic

The day before the sofa was to be…

The day before the sofa was to be delivered, I got an email and a call to confirm delivery time. 15 mins later, I got another call to say the sofa was out of stock and that it was a computer error. The new delivery date would be 4-8 weeks. 3 weeks later, I got a text from the delivery driver, saying my sofa was being delivered that day at 3pm! That was the first I had heard of it, no other communications was received. After me contacting the company, it was confirmed that the sofa was on its way that day. I was working that day, so it has to be rearranged for the next week. I had to rearrange my working shifts to accommodate their last minute changes. No apology, no explanation of how one day the sofa was out of stock and had to be made, then a few days later, a sofa just turns up! Disappointing customer service.

We apologize again for the issues you've had. Unfortunately the products seemed in stock, as the last one was bought just before you placed your order and we contacted you as soon as we realized this. System needed refreshing, and glitches happened sometimes. We have changed our system so that we don't have problems like this again.

Since the products are being shipped from overseas, there is always a chance of delay due to weather conditions/ security checks at the customs etc. For this reason we do not give an exact date to our customers when the product is out of stock/in the container. Which is why you were told 4-8 weeks. As we received the product into our warehouse in 3 weeks, we did not want to keep you waiting as you specified that you wanted it sooner, and we called you to arrange delivery as soon as possible.

We have sent you an email on 31st of October to arrange the second delivery date, for 9th of November which you have also confirmed over the phone as well. Our drivers give our customers a call approximately an hour before they arrive to let them know. The delivery was successfully made that day.

We apologize again for the experience you had, we are working to give better customer service.

Couch is great

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would, possibly the worst furniture company I’ve ever dealt with! I wouldn’t make this review lightly (especially in the current climate). I ordered a wooden Italian marble top vanity unit at £1,350 after much trouble of actually trying to purchase on the site and they were no help what so ever - they “smashed the first one” offered me a Calacatta top instead (less expensive but didn’t offer me the difference back). Waited 2 weeks later, morning of my delivery “smashed it again” and would have to wait 6 weeks, or have a navy blue one! Which is nothing like my original order. Which of course I declined as I was furious and requested a refund. All in all, incredibly poor experience.

Due to high demand, the Allwood model you originally ordered ran out, and you rejected to wait 6 weeks for the new container to arrive. That's why we offered you different vanity units that we have in stock as you told us you need the unit soon; we tried our best to help you. As you requested a refund instead, we processed the refunding of the full amount immediately.

Couldn’t recommend more

Couldn’t recommend more. They don’t seem to have places many orders so that made me a bit suspicious, but I took the chance anyway and it was a great decision. The delivery was good, even if it cost 50 quid, and the soda itself is gorgeous and very comfy. Absolutely perfect

Great customer service but the product images were not accurate in my case

Overall, I'm really happy with my experience at Rubeza, despite not keeping the product.

I ordered the "Quinn" armchair and footstool,because it looked quite different and I thought it'd fit well in my recently rennovated living room. Prior to ordering, I checked out the reviews for the company (all good) and ordered a fabric sample. I specified the exact chair I wanted samples for, including a link to its page, in my email and therefore assumed I'd get samples for that chair. Samples arrived quickly. I really liked the green colour, so placed an order.

The order confirmation email came quite quickly, then I had nothing for a few days, when I got an email asking if I could take delivery the next day. It was in slightly broken English, so I think written by the company owner directly. I responded and accepted delivery. Overall from order to delivery was about a week. I got a few order tracking emails which actually let me see the exact location of the delivery vehicle, pretty cool.

Two guys turned up the next day and very carefully put the box where I asked. This included lifting the large and heavy box over my garden gate while avoiding the Sky dish. They did not complain at all. They then asked I wanted the legs attaching but I said no. I did say I'd like to have a quick look at the chair though so we opened the box.

Unfortunately, the chair was some kind of grey fabric with a barely perceptible green tint. From all angles it looked grey but I had ordered green! I got the sample and placed it on the chair - completely different colour!

I didn't get it out of the box completely but it seemed to be good fabric and whatever materials go inside the chair. I think it was good quality, which I'd hoped for given that it cost about £500, plus another £200 for the footstool.

At this point the delivery guys rang the company owner directly. He wanted to do a video call, so they did that and showed him the chair. He seemed a bit perplexed and kept saying that the correct chair had been delivered but conceded that it's different to the colour it should be.

Now, looking at the website, it is the correct chair but I don't understand how it is the same colour. It's got some kind of SKU code which matches the one I was looking at on the website. Thing is, even if the sample was for another chair, the chair on the website is very clearly a pale green sort of colour and NOT the grey that I received. I wish I could post a picture here so you could see the difference.

This was a bit dissapointing but credit to the delivery guys who did not complain & happily picked the chair up again and took it back to their lorry. They even apologised despite it not being their fault at all. Top marks to them, they are grafters and by the sounds of it work very long days travelling all around the country.

Credit to Rubeza because they called me the same day and arranged for a refund, which was done very quickly. I could have had a replacement but I don't think that the item on the website actually exists in that colour. For this I am deducting a star from the rating. The 4 stars relate to the customer service and efficiency.

So would I order from Rubeza again? Maybe, but I'd go and see the item in real life first rather than looking at the images on the website. They're an hour or so away from me so that's not a problem.

I hope this is useful and doesn't put people off ordering, just make sure you receive the right samples. There is a label on the back and with hindsight, it is a different SKU to what I was ordering. I should have ordered another sample.

Ordered a vanity until

Ordered a vanity until - took a gamble. Easy to order and delivery was prompt. Issues arose when I noted there was no protective packing on my item in the van - as such there were scratches on the paint work as vanity had not been protected. Delivery team were super helpful and waiting until I called the office to get an explanation. No rationale was provided why the item was provided with no packaging (everything else in the van was carefully packaged and the drivers also confirmed this was the first time they have seen item places like this). Guy in phone in office just said he would give me discount which I was not pleased about and said there was no more stock left/ or I can choose another to we item and wait for delivery again. Overall he was pleasant on the phone with me but this does not excuse why a high value and delicate item be delivered like that. In the end we agreed a way forward that suited us both.
