Bought 15 cabinets from RTA after about a weeks worth of me changing the plan and the designer helping me avoid mistakes. Then sent deposit in and with two weeks I had Beautiful new Ivy colored Shaker... See more

I have been going through the design process for our kitchen. I contacted the company in mid December to determine shipping costs for my $5400 order. I had one pantry cabinet in the order and it added $475 to the free shipping. They suggest that you buy a $25 sample, which made sense. I ordered a sample and it was fine. They must not be planning that I will place an order, as they have refunded the sample cost. I contacted them after the holidays to order, to find out that the price had increased by 20% from my shopping cart, and no offer of free shipping. I didn't expect the price to change that dramatically, with no warning from the company. I seriously doubt that their Asian supplier, raised pricing by 20%. I have found another online supplier for comparable goods, that is less expensive, without the phony stories.

I love my cabinets. They arrived right on time. They were easy to assemble and look great. The only recommendation I can leave is to provide an approximate date when you will receive a shipment date. When I 1st ordered, I waited a couple of weeks, then contacted the office for some sort of ETA. There is nothing on your order confirmation that tells you how long it will be for shipment or even how long to receive some sort of notification. Everything else after that was right on track. Overall I am very satisfied with my product.

I chose RTA after some research and reviews. Online purchases this large for project scope is always a concern. Choosing RTA Wood Cabinets was the best decision ever, The products were easy to assemble, resulting in sturdy and well manufactured finished product. The customer service from start to finish was well above expectations. I did have one issue with the order which I assumed would never be resolved with some trim that was lost on an order. I had written off the minor part and to my delight Zack out of the blue sent me an email letting me know the missing trim piece was ready. This customer service blew me away and something that you don't see in todays world. Zack needs to be recognized as his customer service is amazing and represents RTA well and professional. Well done Zack! I will and have recommended RTA to friends and associates already. The kitchen looks amazing.

All materials were well packed and not damaged during shipment. Shipping date was delayed probably by pandemic related problems. The panels are all plywood and all visible surfaces are finished. The enclosed instructions were generic for that type of cabinet and not very descriptive. All the prescribed hardware was enclosed except for glue. The finish was excellent and will probably last for years under normal use. The ordering process was quick and easy and the website showed all the exterior measurements. I did not use RTA design help.

Many of our cabinets ordered came damaged. We also were told that we would need trim, which we did not. This was a waste of money. Our carpenter said the materials they used were cheap, staples instead of nails, paint was missing on some cabinets, lots of defects. They were cheaper than a custom cabinet shop, ($1,000 cheaper). But in my opinion not worth it. I should have purchased from the local cabinet shop and they would have been better quality and I could return the trim pieces we didn't need. Won't make this mistake again. Like the old saying, "You get what you pay for".

Happy with my purchase.
The craftsmanship of the drawer box dovetails are chunky leaving a few details to be desired, but to the average eye, no one will ever tell.
One of the drawer styles had a split from a factory installed screw. A replacement was sent out and received timely.
I don't have anything to compare them to, and I took a risk buying them sight unseen, but I'd do it again.

Don’t believe their shipping timeline. We were promised cabinets in 1 week. It took 9 weeks to receive them all. Just a little bit of dishonesty. Never called to inform us of the delay and kept stalling. Kept telling us they are ready to ship and would not ship. We find out that they don’t make the cabinets so they were not able to get our bottom corner cabinet which was required to install all the rest. Would of used another company had we known.

Very responsive and attentive. Stayed on the project well past delivery of cabinets. I highly recommend them.

Customer service has been outstanding. Only issue was trying to ship 30” pantries. Should sell assembled only if unable to ship assembled without damage.

I purchased decorative doors for the cabinet sides and they were not the right color. I received 2 more sets from the factory and they also were not correct. I also got a set of doors they were not correct. The second set of doors were Ok. My issue is I never received the decorative doors and I have to do without.

I found the team to be very responsive to my questions and requests. The Milano cabinets look great and perform as described. (Don't forget to let them know which sides need to be finished.) The only issue I had was that I had to get the pantry pull out shelves sent separately as they were out of stock at the time I ordered. They took awhile to come - but did eventually get here.

I had an outstanding Experience with RTA. My RTA Design Consultant was very creative and enthusiastic throughout the process. Respecting my input and providing valuable insights that I would not have ever considered.
Excellent service. A real and pleasant human being to deal with. Very responsive in replacing a component damaged in shipping.

I am a licensed Builder and interior designer. Over the years I have service customers homes with new kitchens and bathrooms. I have to say that the ready-to-assemble cabinets are excellent quality. D-dub tail joints are extremely nice. Features that you would only find on cabinets that are three times best price. I was very happy with my selection.

I could not be more pleased. We ordered custom cabinets (Richmond). They arrived safe and sound. Quite frankly, I was worried that they would have seen me damage but they were all there and no damage. The boxes were reenforced at the corners. It did take is some time to go over and check against the list and with two of us, it took some time. Hardest part to figure out were all the toekicks, crown and filler. My only suggestion might be to group it on the bill of sale and provide clear descriptions.
As to the cabinets themselves. They are worth every penny. Dove tailed joints, solid wood, nice workmanship, love the custom extras like two lazy susans, spice rack and trash cans.
You will need someone with some carpentry skills to install when you have crown and toe kicks. Our design was very complicated and while my husband is handy, we need pros.
What sold me was the design. I had four quotes and designs. We went with custom cabinets bc while the most expensive, gave us exactly what we needed. Our layout was a difficult one and Judy thought out of the box to deliver a spectular design. I especially love my custom range hood. I sent Judy a photo and she made it happen.
We are still installing backsplash and waiting for counter tops but I will send photos of the finished product.
So glad I went with you all and did not listen to the competition say that I needed to go with them bc I would not be pleased with you all. Definitely a big lie.
So from the heartland of America, I give this company and Judy my thanks and highest praises for great customer service and a terrific product.

The assembly instructions are awful and vague. I was sent instructional videos to watch which were not helpful to the assembly of my custom cabinets either.
I had quality issues as well so I had to reach out for replacement cabinets. Luckily customer support was great and I was able to get replacement cabinets. I just sent pictures of the issues and gave a detailed description of what was wrong.
Surprisingly the drawers are very well made and solid, more so than the cabinet doors. These are not top quality cabinets, but I feel for the price and customer service they are a fair deal.
Overall, these are middle of the road cabinets for a decent price.
These cabinets are well constructed. I purchased the Shaker White mid-level cabinets with 36" uppers. Having owned a custom cabinet company for many years, I found these cabinets easy to assemble and install. Some of the doors, (3) had scratches on the inside that were easily touched up. Two of the doors are bowed in the middle which causes the door to rub the frame when the door is opened or closed even after adjusting the hinges. This problem can be eliminated by adding a third hinge. Overall, I was impressed by the quality and durability of the cabinets. I will be remodeling my vacation home in the near future and plan on buying from RTA again.

RTA has the best customer service of any one that I do business with bar none! The cabinets I purchased were exceptional and on time. I won't go anywhere else for cabinets!
Excellent customer service. Quality cabinets and reasonable pricing.
